We report here the in situ electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy（ECSTm） study of cobalt phthalocyanine（CoPc）-catalyzed O2evolution reaction（OER） and the dynamics of *** self-assembled CoPc monolayer is fabricated on Au（111） substrate and resolved by ECSTm in 0.1 m KOH *** OH-adsorption on CoPc prior to OER is observed in ECSTm *** OER,the generated O2adsorbed on Co Pc is observed in the CoPc *** step experiment is employed to monitor the desorption of OER-generated O2from CoPc,which results in the decreasing surface coverage of CoPc-O2with *** rate constant of O2desorption is evaluated through data *** insights into the dynamics of Co-O2dissociation at the molecular level via in situ imaging help understand the role of Co-O2in oxygen reduction reaction（ORR） and OER.

For the first time,the mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4)(ratio 4:1)destabilized system with CoTiO_(3) addition has been *** CoTiO_(3)-doped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) sample begins to dehydrogenate at 130℃,which is declined by 40℃ compared to the undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4).moreover,the de/rehydrogenation kinetics characteristics of the CoTiO_(3)-doped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) were greatly *** the inclusion of CoTiO_(3),the mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) composite absorbed 5.2 wt.%H_(2),higher than undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4).In the context of dehydrogenation,the CoTiO_(3)-doped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) sample desorbed 2.6 wt.%H_(2),almost doubled compared to the amount of hydrogen desorbed from the undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) *** activation energy obtained by the Kissinger analysis for mgH_(2) decomposition was significantly lower by 35.9 kJ/mol than the undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) *** reaction mechanism demonstrated that new phases of mgCo and AlTi_(3) were generated in situ during the heating process and are likely to play a substantial catalytic function and be useful in ameliorating the de/rehydrogenation properties of the destabilized mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) system with the inclusion of CoTiO_(3).

A circular shaft is often used to access a working well for deep underground space *** the depth of underground space increases,the excavation depth of the shaft *** this study,the deformation characteristics of a circular shaft with a depth of 56.3 m were presented and *** main monitoring contents included:(1)wall deflection;(2)vertical wall movement;(3)horizontal soil movement;(4)vertical surface movement;and(5)basal ***,the maximum wall deflection was only 7.7 *** with the wall deflection data collected for another 29 circular excavations,the ratio of maximum wall deflection to excavation depth of this shaft was smaller due to a smaller ratio of diameter to excavation *** wall deflection underwent two stages of deformation:the first stage was mainly circumferential compression caused by the mutual extrusion of joints between walls,and the second stage was typical vertical deflection *** horizontal soil movement outside the shaft was greater than the wall deflection and the deep soil caused great horizontal movement because of dewatering at confined water ***,a basal heave of 203.8 mm occurred in the pit centre near the ***,the shaft was uplifted over time and showed 3 stages of vertical *** surface outside the shaft exhibited settlement and uplift deformation at different locations due to different *** basal heave caused by excavation was the dominant factor,driving the vertical movement of the shaft as well as the surrounding *** correlation between the wall deflection and the surface settlement outside the shaft was weak.

Conductive edge-warping graphite mesas for robust structural superlubricity

Structural superlubricity(SSL) refers to a state of ultralow friction and zero wear when two solid surfaces slide against each other. Recent investigations have identified amorphous carbon at the edge of the graphite mesa as the primary source of friction in such SSL systems. Here, the tensile stress of metal thin film is exploited to engineer vertically conductive edge-warping graphite mesas(EWGm). Through this approach, robust SSL performance is realized, demonstrated by sliding an 8 μm side length square EWGm on an atomically smooth Au substrate for 10000 cycles at a constant voltage of 1 m V. In this SSL system,differential friction coefficients lower than 1.5 × 10^(-4) are achieved, with static contact resistance between EWGm and Au substrate as low as 28Ω and sliding contact resistance as low as 32Ω. moreover, the EWGm exhibits SSL behavior on polished Si wafer substrates. Furthermore, because of the no-edge contact with the substrate during sliding, friction is independent of the sliding speed of the EWGm. This study presents the first successful fabrication of conductive EWGm. Remarkably, in both EWGm-Au and EWGm-Si SSL systems, the measured frictions are more than one order of magnitude lower than those of ordinary self-retracting graphite mesas with no-edge warping, and no wear is observed during extended current-carrying ***, these findings establish a solid groundwork for the future realization of macroscale conductive SSL systems.

mid-infrared microcavity lasers have important applications in biosensing,mid-infrared spectroscopy,and environmental ***,the low output power of existing mid-infrared microcavity lasers hinders their practical *** drawback is attributed to the insufficient laser gain medium,which limits the development of mid-infrared whispering-gallerymode(WGm)*** address this issue,we have employed ion implantation-enhanced etching to fabricate Tm:yAG thin films as effective gain media for mid-infrared WGm *** Tm:yAG thin film,with a thickness of 2μm,exhibits excellent fluorescence ***,the Tm:yAG thin film is processed using focused ion beam to form microdisks with a diameter of 30μ*** 785 nm laser pumping,the maximum output power of the Tm:yAG microdisk at 2023.1 nm is229μW,with a slope efficiency of 2.9%.This work demonstrates the outstanding potential of Tm:yAG as a mid-infrared laser gain medium,providing a new option for the development of mid-infrared lasers.

BACKGROUND Previous studies have demonstrated the benefits of ideal cardiovascular health(CVH) in reducing cardiovascular ***,its role in subclinical atherosclerosis(SA) progression remains *** aim to examine the association of CVH,estimated by the American Heart Association's new Life's Essential 8(LE8),with the progression of *** This prospective cohort study was conducted among 972 asymptomatic Chinese participants and followed up for5.7 *** LE8 score(range,0–100) consisted of blood pressure,lipids,glucose,body mass index,smoking status,diet health,physical activity and sleep health was evaluated in 1998 and 2008–*** of SA was determined by carotid plaque and coronary artery calcification(CAC) in 2008–2009 and 2013–***-binomial regression model was used to estimate the association of LE8 score with SA *** Each 10 points increment in LE8 score was associated with 15.2%(RR:0.848,95% CI:0.797–0.902),17.7%(RR:0.823,95% CI:0.766–0.884) and 12.0%(RR:0.880,95% CI:0.845–0.916) lower risks of carotid plaque,CAC and overall SA progression,*** with participants with non-ideal CVH at both visits,the participants with ideal CVH at both visits had39.1%(RR:0.609,95% CI:0.494–0.752),41.0%(RR:0.590,95% CI:0.456–0.764) and 29.7%(RR:0.703,95% CI:0.598–0.825) lower risks of carotid plaque,CAC and overall SA progression,*** Higher LE8 scores were associated with lower risks of SA ***,long-term maintenance of optimal CVH was more beneficial to prevent SA progression.
