Mitral dysplasia is a pathology that describes abnormal mitral valve and valve-related structures. This congenital disease, which has been diagnosed increasingly with advancing technology, creates congestive heart failure when it progresses. Although echocardiography is accepted as the primary standard at the diagnosis stage, it may not be sufficient alone, and advanced tests may be required. The prognosis of the patients is poor. A two-month-old, mixed breed, female cat has respiratory problems and anorexia symptoms. The patient, who was taken to two different clinics, was diagnosed with bronchitis. Our hospital revealed that the diagnosis was not bronchitis but congestive heart failure due to mitral dysplasia. Medical treatment was applied to reduce the symptoms in the patient. Two days after the start of the medication, the patient began to eat and was significantly active. After the patient was stabilized, the patient was handed over to the owner in order to avoid nosocomial infections and to minimize stress. There was no further news from the patient. This is the first case reported for this disease in our country. It is also important because it is a case that reveals the importance of the multisystemic approach.

A 1.8 kg, seven months old, intact, female, mix-breed cat was referred with dyspnea and paresis. Since the patient was in such a condition that she was too incapable of the operation, treatment for dyspnea was performed. The patient has abdominal enlargement. When the respiratory stress of the patient decreased, a radiograph was taken and lordosis was found. Medical treatment was applied, because the general condition was impaired. Lordosis is the excessive curvature of a certain number of vertebrae in the neck and back region. Congenital thoracic lordosis has been described as a highly progressive and low vital capacity disease in humans and cats. Because it compresses the lung, it can cause dyspnea in patients and rhythm disturbances in the heart. This case represents a severe example of untreatable and unmanageable lordosis encountered in a cat.

Three different structural engineering designs were investigated to determine optimum design variables,and then to estimate design parameters and the main objective function of designs directly,speedily,and *** different optimization operations were carried out:One used the harmony search(HS)algorithm,combining different ranges of both HS parameters and iteration with population *** other used an estimation application that was done via artificial neural networks(ANN)to find out the estimated values of *** explore the estimation success of ANN models,different test cases were proposed for the three structural *** of the study suggest that ANN estimation for structures is an effective,successful,and speedy tool to forecast and determine the real optimum results for any design model.

Development of the telencephalon relies upon several signaling centers-localized cellular populations that supply secreted factors to pattern the cortical *** such signaling center is the cortical hem,which arises during embryonic development at the telencephalic dorsal midline,adjacent to the choroid plexus and hippocampal primordium(Figure 1A).While the cortical hem has also been described in reptiles and birds,most of our knowledge about the developmental roles of the cortical hem is derived from the analysis in *** cortical hem produces several types of secreted molecules,including wingless-related integration site(Wnt)and bone morphogenetic(Bmp)*** cortical hem is particularly important for the development of the hippocampus,which is involved in learning and memory,and the neocortex,which is the most complex brain region that mediates multiple types of behavior and higher cognitive functions(Mangale et al.,2008;Dal-Valle-Anton and Borrell,2022).

The crystal structure, magnetic and magnetocaloric characteristics of the pseduo ternary compounds of TbsGe2-xSi2-xMn2x （0 ≤ 2x ≤ 0.1） were investigated by x-ray powder diffraction and magnetization measurements. The x-ray powder diffraction results show that all compounds preserve the monoclinic phase as the majority phase and all the synthesized compounds were observed to be ferromagnetic from magnetization measurements. Magnetic phase transitions were interpreted in terms of Landau theory. Maximum isothermal magnetic entropy change value （20.84 J-kg-1 -K-1） was found for Tb5Ge1.95Si1.95Mn0.1 at around 123 K in the magnetic field change of 5T.

The Global Positioning System(GPS)is a GNSS constellation,but GNSS is not always *** is one of the GNSS constellations used around the *** GNSS constellations include GPS(US),QZSS(Japan),Beidou/BDS(China),Galileo(EU),and GLONASS(Russia).In 1999,the European Commission(EC)proposed the European Galileo satellite navigation system for the first time.A four-phase development was proposed,including public and private sector *** was intended for both civilian and government use,and is managed and controlled by civil *** is made up of 30 satellites,a number of globally distributed ground stations,and a ground control and monitoring system,all of which are extremely similar to the structure,format,and layout of *** this study,we investigate GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou/IRNSS/QZSS Navigation Satellite System integration algorithm for long baselines ranging from 1500 km to 3000 km in China,Japan and *** positioning performance with GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BDS/IRNSS/QZSS,GPS-only,Galileo-only,GLONASS-only and BDS-only,*** compared in terms of the positioning *** improvement of positioning accuracy over long baselines can be found with GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BDS/QZSS/IRNSS compared with that of GPS-only and that of *** obtained differences of the two baselines(Topcon Magnet Tools Software(Multi-GNSS)-(CSRS-PPP(GPS/GLONASS),(Trimble-RTX(GPS/GLONASS),(AUSPOS(GPS/GLONASS))Online Processing Software)by using GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BDS/QZSS/IRNSS signals is between 40 cm and 111.5 cm on three days.

This work is aimed to show that various problems from different fields can be modeled more efficiently using multiplicative calculus, in place of Newtonian calculus. Since multiplicative calculus is still in its infancy, some effort is put to explain its basic principles such as exponential arithmetic, multiplicative calculus, and multiplicative differential equations. Examples from finance, actuarial science, economics, and social sciences are presented with solutions using multiplicative calculus concepts. Based on the encouraging results obtained it is recommended that further research into this field be vested to exploit the applicability of multiplicative calculus in different fields as well as the development of multiplicative calculus concepts.

Methodology for determination of correction factors in direct gamma spectrometric measurement of radionuclides in sediments

In this study, the practical methodologies are described for the determination of the factors for the selfabsorption effect（Fs）, spectral interferences(Fcsi), and true coincidence summing effects(Fcoi), which are used in direct gamma-spectrometric measurement of radionuclides such as210Pb,238U,234Th,226Ra,214Pb,228Ac,208Tl,214Bi,137Cs and40K in samples. To validate the applied methods, certified reference materials（CRMs） of lake and stream sediments were measured with an n-type Germanium（Ge）detector-calibrated using a multinuclide reference source. The highest self-absorption correction factors ranged from Fs= 1.44-2.10 for 46.5 keV peak（210 Pb） and Fs= 1.25-1.60 for 63.3 keV peak(234Th) lying in the low energy region of the spectrum. The systematic influence was observed for 186.2 keV（226 Ra）peak due to spectral interferences with the 235 U contribution. For this peak, Fcsiis changed from 0.921 to0.955. Additionally, the present study suggests that true coincidence summing（TCS） effects are not dominant, except for 208 T1 and 214 Bi for which Fcoiranged from 1.179 to 1.192 an ranged from 1.140 to1.151, respectively.

Cerebral ischemia is a major health risk that requires preventive approaches in addition to drug *** exercise enhances neurogenesis and synaptogenesis,and has been widely used for functional rehabilitation after *** this study,we determined whether exercise training before disease onset can alleviate the severity of cerebral *** also examined the role of exercise-induced circulating factors in these *** mice were subjected to 14 days of treadmill exercise training before surgery for middle cerebral artery *** found that this exercise pre-conditioning strategy effectively attenuated brain infarct area,inhibited gliogenesis,protected synaptic proteins,and improved novel object and spatial memory *** analysis showed that circulating adiponectin plays a critical role in these preventive effects of *** activation of adiponectin receptors by Adipo Ron mimicked the effects of exercise,while inhibiting receptor activation abolished the exercise *** summary,our results suggest a crucial role of circulating adiponectin in the effects of exercise pre-conditioning in protecting against cerebral ischemia and supporting the health benefits of exercise.
