End-to-End Paired Ambisonic-Binaural Audio Rendering

Binaural rendering is of great interest to virtual reality and immersive media. Although humans can naturally use their two ears to perceive the spatial information contained in sounds, it is a challenging task for machines to achieve binaural rendering since the description of a sound field often requires multiple channels and even the metadata of the sound sources. In addition, the perceived sound varies from person to person even in the same sound field. Previous methods generally rely on individual-dependent head-related transferred function(HRTF)datasets and optimization algorithms that act on HRTFs. In practical applications, there are two major drawbacks to existing methods. The first is a high personalization cost, as traditional methods achieve personalized needs by measuring HRTFs. The second is insufficient accuracy because the optimization goal of traditional methods is to retain another part of information that is more important in perception at the cost of discarding a part of the information. Therefore, it is desirable to develop novel techniques to achieve personalization and accuracy at a low cost. To this end, we focus on the binaural rendering of ambisonic and propose 1) channel-shared encoder and channel-compared attention integrated into neural networks and 2) a loss function quantifying interaural level differences to deal with spatial information. To verify the proposed method, we collect and release the first paired ambisonic-binaural dataset and introduce three metrics to evaluate the content information and spatial information accuracy of the end-to-end methods. Extensive experimental results on the collected dataset demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method and the shortcomings of previous methods.

Role of phosphorus on the biogeochemical behavior of cadmium in the contaminated soil under leaching and pot experiments

Phosphorus(P)is involved in various biochemical reactions in plant growth,so it is beneficial to plants growing in soils contaminated by metals,including cadmium(Cd).However,few studies have reported on the mechanistic roles of P in mitigating Cd toxicity to ryegrass root,and especially in alleviating the disruption of the mitochondrial function of living *** this study,the physiological and biochemical mechanisms associated with ryegrass growth under various Cd and P treatments were investigated using leaching and pot *** concentration of Cd in soil leachates showed a significantly positive relationship with redox potential(P<0.05),but negative relationship(P<0.05)with leachate pH values and dissolved organic carbon(DOC),indicating that exogenous P addition(as H_(2)PO_(4)*)may decrease Cd leaching from contaminated *** to the control(without P addition),the cumulative Cd content was reduced by 53.3%and 64.5%in the soil leachate with exogenous P application(20 mg/L and 80 mg/L),***,application of P decreased the Cd concentrations in the symplastic fractions and increased the Cd concentrations in the apoplastic fractions in root tips,which may help to alleviate Cd stress to the ***,exogenous P was found to play a positive role in mitochondrial function and Ca^(2+)variation in root cells under Cd stress,which provides novel insights into the mechanisms of exogenous P in alleviating plant Cd injury.

Over the past decades,the survival rates of patients with cancer have significantly increased owing to advancements in cancer treatment *** has become an indispensable treatment modality for thoracic *** it offers benefits in treating or even potentially curing cancer,thoracic radiotherapy exposes neighboring heart tissues to ionizing radiation,elevating the risk of radiation-induced heart disease(RIHD).Despite improvements in radiotherapy techniques that have reduced the incidence of RIHD,complete avoidance of heart radiation exposure remains a *** studies involving atomic bomb survivors and individuals with occupational radiation exposure,even at relatively low doses,have reported a significant increase in RIHD *** pathological mechanisms underlying RIHD have been extensively *** present,imaging techniques and traditional cardiac biomarkers are the primary methods to diagnose RIHD,with ongoing efforts to explore additional promising markers for predicting and monitoring ***,traditional and novel therapeutic strategies are being actively explored to prevent or alleviate *** gained from therapeutic advancements in other organ systems or heart diseases caused by different factors can provide valuable ideas for RIHD *** review discusses the recent advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of RIHD.

In recent years,nanogenerators(NGs)have attracted wide attention in the energy field,among which triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)have shown superior *** reports of electrospinning(ES)-based TENGs have been reported,but there is a lack of deep analysis of the designing method from microstructure,limiting the creative of new ES-based *** TENGs use polymer materials to achieve corresponding design,which requires structural design of polymer *** existing polymer molding design methods include macroscopic molding methods,such as injection,compression,extrusion,calendering,etc.,combined with liquid-solid changes such as soluting and melting;it also includes micro-nano molding technology,such as melt-blown method,coagulation bath method,ES method,and nanoimprint *** fact,ES technology has good controllability of thickness dimension and rich means of nanoscale structure *** present,these characteristics have not been ***,in this paper,we combine recent reports with some microstructure regulation functions of ES to establish a more general TENGs design *** on the rich microstructure research results in the field of ES,much more new types of TENGs can be designed in the future.

High-excited-state splitting and multimode vibrational coupling in Mn^(4+)-activated fluoride phosphor

Excited-states play a crucial role in the optical absorption and luminescence of solids and hence their accurate information is highly desired. Herein, we attempt to seize the excited-states information of Mn^(4+)ions in K_(2)SiF_(6) microcrystals via measuring and calculating their variable-temperature photoluminescence excitation(PLE) spectra. At cryogenic temperatures, an unpredicted splitting of the high-excited-state is observed. Moreover, the two-split high-excited-state levels are further revealed to primarily couple with the two hyperfine split modes of quasi-localized ν2 vibration in the distorted Mn-F_(6) octahedral configuration,whereas the coupling strengths are found to be substantially different from each other. The slightly split vibrational mode is firmly supported by the low-temperature Raman spectra. Jahn-Teller lattice distortion is believed to be responsible for the observed splitting of the electronic high-excited-state and the quasi-localized vibrational mode.

Prestoring lithium into SnO_(2)coated 3D carbon fiber cloth framework as dendrite-free lithium metal anode

For several decades,the promise of implementing of lithium(Li)metal anodes has been regarded as the"holy grail"for Li-based ***,we have proposed a facile design of a carbon fiber cloth(CFC)framework coated with SnO_(2)nanoparticles through a hydrothermal process,which served as a reliable host for prestoring molten Li to produce a CFC@SnO_(2)@Li composite ***,TEM,HRTEM,XPS and different electrochemical characterizations were carried *** to the synergetic effects of the 3D conductive CFC and the coated lithiophilic SnO_(2)nanoparticles,the designed CFC@SnO_(2)@Li electrodes can buffer the volume changes and reduce the local current density,thus suppress the Li dendrites during ***,the CFC@SnO_(2)electrodes showed a high and stable CE of 98.6%for 1000 cycles at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2)(1 mAh cm^(-2)).What is more,at a high current density of 5 mA cm^(-2)and a high areal capacity of 5 mAh cm^(-2),the symmetric cell displayed relatively low overpotential and long cycling lifetime of 1600 *** results confirm its great potential as lithium metal anodes in practical battery applications.

塑性铰模型计算效率高,可快速获得结构宏观破坏模式,韧性断裂损伤模型从微观机制揭示钢材的断裂机理,可较准确预测钢材的断裂行为。为此,该文基于杆系离散元理论,将两者联合建立构件断裂模拟算法,既具有计算效率高的优势又保证构件断裂模拟的精度。首先介绍杆系离散元法的基本理论,以及宏观塑性铰模型和微观韧性断裂损伤模型具体计算流程;然后给出将两者联合分析的具体实施策略,即以接触截面边缘最不利点处的应力作为整个截面的应力状态,进而调用韧性断裂损伤模型。最后采用Fortran语言编制相应的分析程序,并通过悬臂梁断裂算例和单层网壳振动台倒塌试验,验证该算法对模拟杆件断裂行为的可行性和有效性。杆系离散元法模拟构件断裂时,截面发生开裂,颗粒间发生脱离是一个自然的过程,无需其他任何修正即可实现结构由连续体状态向断裂后非连续体状态过渡,与有限元方法相比,不存在网格畸变重划分、迭代不收敛的问题,更具计算优势,为大跨空间网壳结构倒塌破坏分析提供新的计算手段。
