Dear Editor,Fowl adenovirus(FAdV)and avian hepatitis E virus(aHEV)are the most important causative agents of hepatic injury,representing one of the greatest health concerns in layer chicken flocks(LCFs)in China and causes substantial economic *** are non-enveloped,double-stranded DNA viruses containing a genome of 43–45 kb in size and belong to the genus Aviadenovirus in the family of Adenoviridae(Hess,2000).Based on restriction enzyme digestion patterns and serum cross-neutralization tests,FAdV is currently clustered into five species(FAdV-A–FAdV-E)with 12 serotypes(FAdV-1 to-7,FAdV-8a,FAdV-8b,and FAdV-9 to-11).Different serotypes of FAdVs cause different clinical symptoms in poultry ***-1 can induce gizzard erosion in chickens,whereas inclusion body hepatitis(IBH)in chickens is often associated with FAdV-2,-8a,-8b,***-4 causes hydropericardium hepatitis syndrome and IBH in chickens,and its infections have caused severe economic losses in the global poultry industry(Ye et al.,2016).Avian hepatitis E virus(aHEV)is a major causative agent of big liver and spleen disease(BLS),hepatitis splenomegaly syndrome,and hepatic rupture hemorrhage syndrome(HRHS)in chickens(Sun et al.,2019).

Spurs have played an important role in the radiation of the genus Aquilegia,but little is known about how the spurless state arose in *** we aim to characterize the genetic divergence within *** and gain insights into the origin of this species.A total of 19 populations from *** and 23 populations from three of its closest relatives(Aquilegia kansuensis,Aquilegia rockii and Aquilegia yabeana)were sampled in this *** sequenced fifteen nuclear gene fragments across the genome and three chloroplast loci to conduct phylogenetic,PCoA and STRUCTURE *** analyses indicate that *** may not be monophyletic and can be divided into two distinct lineages(***Ⅰand ***Ⅱ).***Ⅰis genetically close to ***,whereas ***Ⅱis close to ***-with-migration analysis suggested that historical gene flow was low between ***Ⅰand ***,as well as between ***Ⅱand *** two distinct lineages of *** show significant divergence in 13 floral traits and also have distinct *** addition,both ***ⅠandⅡare adapted to a stony environment that differs from that of their closest relatives,indicating a habitat shift may have driven new *** findings enrich the understanding of how floral evolution contributes to species diversification.

This meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials aimed to evaluate the effects of probiotic supplementation on glucose homeostasis in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).The meta-analysis was performed in accordance with the Cochrane Handbook guidelines and relevant the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses(PRISMA)statement *** 825 identified reports,11 randomized clinical trials were included in the *** analysis of pooled extracted data revealed that supplementation with probiotics significantly decreased fasting blood glucose(FBG,n=7;standardized mean difference(SMD)=−0.40;95%confidence interval(CI):−2.02,−0.02;P=0.04)and insulin levels(n=6;SMD=−0.57;95%CI:−0.89,−0.25;P=0.0004)and the homeostatic model assessment of insulin resistance(n=7;SMD=−0.64;95%CI:−0.96,−0.31;P=0.0001)while increasing the quantitative insulin sensitivity check index(QUICKI,n=5;SMD=0.58;95%CI:0.08,1.09;P=0.02)in patients with *** FBG-reducing effect decreased as the baseline body mass index(BMI)and mean age of the participants ***,a greater number of bacterial species and a higher bacterial dose were shown to reduce QUICKI *** systematic review indicated that probiotic supplementation may help to control glucose homeostasis in adults with polycystic ovarian syndrome.

The thermoelectric materials have been considered as a potential candidate for the new power generation technology based on their reversible heat and electricity *** telluride（Pb Te） is regarded as an excellent mid-temperature thermoelectric material due to its suitable intrinsic thermoelectric *** tremendous efforts have been done to improve the thermoelectric performance of Pb Te,and figures of merit,zT 〉 2.0,have been *** strategies for optimizing the thermoelectric performance have been focused as the main line of this *** band engineering and phonon scattering engineering as two main effective strategies are systemically summarized *** band engineering,like band convergence,resonant levels,and band flatting have been addressed in improving the power ***,phonon scattering engineerings,such as atomic-scale,nano-scale,meso-scale,and multi-scale phonon scatterings have been applied to reduce the thermal ***,some successful synergistic effects based on band engineerings and phonon scatterings are illustrated as a simultaneous way to optimize both the power factor and thermal *** the above three main parts,we point out that the synergistic effects should be effectively exploited,and these may further boost the thermoelectric performance of Pb Te alloys and can be extended to other thermoelectric materials.

BACKGROUND Acute gastrointestinal bleeding(GIB)is a life-threatening medical emergency with high morbidity and *** embolization with endovascular coils under digital subtraction angiography guidance is a common and effective method for the treatment of GIB with high technical success *** ulcers caused by coils wiggled from the branch of the gastroduodenal artery,which is a rare complication,have not previously been reported in a patient with right intrathoracic *** SUMMARY A 62-year-old man had undergone thoracoscopy-assisted radical resection of esophageal cancer and gastroesophageal anastomosis 3 years ago,resulting in right intrathoracic *** was admitted to the hospital 15 mo ago for dizziness and suffered acute GIB during his *** surgery was urgently performed to embolize the branch of the gastroduodenal artery with endovascular *** 15 mo,the patient was re-admitted with a chief complaint of melena for 2 d,esophagogastroduodenoscopy and abdominal computed tomography revealed that some endovascular coils had migrated into the duodenal bulb,leading to a deep *** was controlled after conservative *** months later,duodenal balloon dilatation was performed to relieve the stenosis after the removal of a few coils,and the patient was safely discharged with only one coil retained in the duodenum due to difficulties in complete removal and risk of *** melena recurred once during the long-term *** Although rare,coil wiggle after interventional therapy requires careful attention,effective precautionary measures,and more secure alternative treatment methods.

Versatile strategies have been developed to construct electrospun fiber-based drug delivery systems for tissue regeneration and cancer *** first introduce the construction of electrospun fiber scaffolds and their various structures,as well as various commonly used types of ***,we discuss some representative strategies for controlling drug delivery by electrospun fibers,with specific emphasis on the design of endogenous and external stimuli-responsive drug delivery ***,we summarize the recent progress on controlling drug delivery with electrospun fiber scaffolds for tissue engineering,including soft tissue engineering(such as skin,nerve,and cardiac repair)and hard tissue engineering(such as bone,cartilage,and musculoskeletal systems),as well as for cancer ***,we provide future development directions and challenges facing the use of electrospun fibers for controlled drug delivery,aiming to provide insights and perspectives for the development of smart drug delivery platforms and improve clinical therapeutic effects in tissue regeneration and cancer therapy.

Luminescence is one of the most important properties for metal nanoclusters;however,clearly revealing its origin remains *** different luminescence properties of the two prototypical 8e nanoclusters Au_(11)and Au_(13)remain elusive—Au_(11)is always nonluminescent,whereas Au_(13)is *** this work,by using a designed unique aromatic ligand(quinoline-2-thiol),we obtained new atomically precise phosphine-thiolate-protected neutral Au_(11)-SH and cationic Au_(13)-*** comparison with the classic phosphine-halide-protected Au_(11)-Cl and Au_(13)-Cl,the Cl-to-thiol alteration triggered room-temperature luminescence of the Au_(11)core and dramatically modulated that of the Au_(13)*** ultraviolet/infrared(UV/IR)spectroscopy,which is sensitive to organic aromatic groups,together with ultrafast transient absorption(TA)spectroscopy unprecedently revealed a relaxation process from the ligand to core state affecting the dynamics in excited states and some critical intermediate states favouring efficient room-temperature emission of these *** work provides some new insights into the origin of photoluminescence of metal nanoclusters and opens an avenue to modulate the dynamics of their excited states using aromatic ligands,which would have direct applications in lighting,light harvesting,and photocatalysis.
