Charge strippers play an essential role in heavy-ion accelerators by stripping the projectile ions to higher charge states to enhance the acceleration efficiency downstream of the *** the high-energy mode of the booster ring(BRing)of the high-intensity heavy-ion accelerator facility,the pre-accelerated ions from the iLinac will be stripped by a carbon foil to higher charge states and then injected into the *** key parameters of the stripper and stripped ions were calculated,and the influence of stripping on the beam quality was *** get high stripping efficiencies,the foil thicknesses and resultant charge state distributions for the typical ions were determined by the code *** equilibrium thickness was obtained for the U beam,while the stripper thicknesses for the Xe and Kr beams were determined based on a compromise between the stripped charge states and the stripping *** energy loss,energy straggling,and emittance growth due to stripping have a non-negligible impact on the transport of the stripped beams and the injection of the ***,these parameters were simulated by *** addition,the foil’s temperature evolution,which greatly affects the foil lifetime,was simulated by *** maximum temperature of the foil bombarded by the U and Xe beams with the nominal parameters will exceed the safe value in terms of the impact of evaporation on the foil’s *** the foil temperature constraint,the highest tolerable beam intensity and the injected ion number into the ring were derived for different beam *** results of this paper will present important reference data for the optimization design and commissioning of the beamline and injection to the BRing for the stripped ions.

As an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator with magnetic order and non-trivial topological structure,MnBi_(2)Te_(4)is an ideal material for studying exotic topological states such as quantum anomalous Hall effect and topological axion insulating ***,we carry out magnetic and electrical transport measurements on(Mn1–xgex)Bi_(2)Te_(4)(x=0,0.15,0.30,0.45,0.60,and 0.75)single *** is found that with increasing x,the dilution of magnetic moments gradually weakens the antiferromagnetic exchange ***,ge doping reduces the critical field of ferromagnetic ordering,which may provide a possible way to implement the quantum anomalous Hall effect at lower magnetic *** transport measurements suggest that electrons are the dominant charge carriers,and the carrier density increases with the ge doping ***,the Kondo effect is observed in the samples with x=0.45,0.60,and *** results suggest that doping germanium is a viable way to tune the magnetic and electrical transport properties of MnBi_(2)Te_(4),opening up the possibility of future applications in magnetic topological insulators.

There is a close relationship between potassium(K)and nitrogen(N).However,the roles of K under high N conditions remain *** a hydroponics approach,we monitored the morphological,physiological,and molecular changes in M9T337 apple(Malus domestica)rootstocks under different nitrate(10 and 30 mmol·L^(-1)NO_(3)^(-))and K supply(0.5,6,10,and 20 mmol·L_(-1)K^(+))*** revealed that high nitrate inhibited the root growth of M9T337 rootstocks,downregulated the expressions of K transporter genes(MdPT5,MdHKT1,and MdATK1),and reduced the net NO3-and K+influx at the surface of roots,thereby resulting in an N/K imbalance in *** investigation showed that 10 mmol·L^(-1)K increased the activity of N metabolic enzymes(NR,GS,NiR,and GOGAT),upregulated the expressions of genes related to nitrate uptake and transport(MdNRT1.1,MdNRT1.2,MdNRT1.5,and MdNRT2.4),promoted15N transport from the roots to the shoots,optimized leaf N distribution,and improved photosynthetic N utilization efficiency under high nitrate *** results suggest that the negative effects of high nitrate may be related to the N/K imbalance and that reducing N/K in plants by increasing K supply level can effectively alleviate the inhibition of N assimilation by high nitrate stress.

Ulcerative colitis (UC), a prevalent form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), may result from immune system dysfunction, leading to the sustained overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and subsequent cellular oxidative stress damage. Recent studies have identified both peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ) and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress as critical targets for the treatment of IBD. Oroxyloside (C22H20O11), derived from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis georgi, has traditionally been used in treating inflammatory diseases. In this study, we investigated the molecular mechanisms by which oroxyloside mitigates dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis. We examined the effects of oroxyloside on ROS-mediated ER stress in colitis, including the protein expressions of GRP78, p-PERK, p-eIF2α, ATF4, and CHOP, which are associated with ER stress. The beneficial impact of oroxyloside was reversed by the PPARγ antagonist GW9662 (1 mg·kg^(−1), i.v.) in vivo. Furthermore, oroxyloside decreased pro-inflammatory cytokines and ROS production in both bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDM) and the mouse macrophage cell line RAW 264.7. However, PPARγ siRNA transfection blocked the anti-inflammatory effect of oroxyloside and even abolished ROS generation and ER stress activation inhibited by oroxyloside in vitro. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that oroxyloside ameliorates DSS-induced colitis by inhibiting ER stress via PPARγ activation, suggesting that oroxyloside might be a promising effective agent for IBD.

This paper focuses on the stochastic analysis of a viscoelastic bistable energy harvesting system under colored noise and harmonic excitation, and adopts the time-delayed feedback control to improve its harvesting efficiency. Firstly, to obtain the dimensionless governing equation of the system, the original bistable system is approximated as a system without viscoelastic term by using the stochastic averaging method of energy envelope, and then is further decoupled to derive an equivalent system. The credibility of the proposed method is validated by contrasting the consistency between the numerical and the analytical results of the equivalent system under different noise conditions. The influence of system parameters on average output power is analyzed, and the control effect of the time-delayed feedback control on system performance is compared. The output performance of the system is improved with the occurrence of stochastic resonance(SR). Therefore, the signal-to-noise ratio expression for measuring SR is derived, and the dependence of its SR behavior on different parameters is explored.
