As a subtask of open domain event extraction(ODEE),new event type induction aims to discover a set of unseen event types from a given *** methods mostly adopt semi-supervised or unsupervised learning to achieve the goal,which uses complex and different objective functions for labeled and unlabeled data *** order to unify and simplify objective functions,a reliable pseudo-labeling prediction(RPP)framework for new event type induction was *** framework introduces a double label reassignment(DLR)strategy for unlabeled data based on *** strategy can alleviate the model degeneration caused by swap-predication and further combine the real distribution over unseen event types to produce more reliable pseudo labels for unlabeled *** generated reliable pseudo labels help the overall model be optimized by a unified and simple *** show that RPP framework outperforms the state-of-the-art on the benchmark.

The process of urbanization is formed by regular movements of human beings. It yields different functional zones in a city, such as residential zone and commercial zone. Consequently, there exists a close connection between the human mobility pattern and the city＇s zones. However, it is not easy to collect large-scale society-wide data that can precisely capture the underlying relations between the individual＇s movement and the regional functions. Hence, our knowledge for understanding the basic patterns of human mobility is still limited. In order to discover the functions of different regions in a city, we propose an affinity based method in this paper. The affinity is a recently introduced metric for measuring the correlation of two connecting node in a complex network. The proposed model groups different functional zones by measuring user＇s arrival/departure distribution via relative entropy. In addition to this, we also identify the intensity of each functional zone by taking kernel density estimation （KDE） method. In the end, some experiments are conducted to evaluate our method with a large-scale real-life dataset, which consists of 3 million cellphone users＇ records from a period of one month. Our findings on the interaction between the mobility pattern and the regional functions can capture the city dynamics efficiently and provide a valuable reference for urban planners.

During the pupal-adult eclosion process of holometabolous insects,the old cuticle is shed and replaced by a completely different new cuticle that requires tanning and expansion,along with extensive extracellular matrix(ECM)*** vertebrates,matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs),a class of zinc-dependent endopeptidases,play key roles in regulating the ECM that surrounds ***,little is known about these extracellular proteinases available in *** small hive beetle(SHB),Aethina tumida,is a widespread invasive parasite of honey *** this study,6 MMP homologs were identified in the SHB *** interference experiments showed that all 6 AtMmps are not required for the larval-pupal transition,only AtMmp2 was essential for pupal-adult eclosion in *** of AtMmp2 resulted in eclosion defects and wing expansion failure,as well as mortality within 3 d of adult *** analysis revealed that knockdown of AtMmp2 significantly increased expression of the Toll and Imd pathways,chitin metabolism,and cross-linking(such as the pro-phenoloxidase activating cascade pathway and the tyrosine-mediated cuticle sclerotization and pigmentation pathway).These data revealed evolutionarily conserved functions of Mmp2 in controlling adult eclosion and wing expansion,also provided a preliminary exploration of the novel function of regulating Toll and Imd pathways,as well as new insights into how MMPs regulate insect development and defense barriers.

Multi-objective optimization of methane production system from biomass through anaerobic digestion

This work addressed the multi-objective optimization of a biogas production system considering both environmental and economic criteria. A mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP) model was established and solved with non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ, from which the Pareto fronts, the optimal technology combinations and operation conditions were obtained and analyzed. It's found that the system is feasible in both environmental and economic considerations after optimization. The most expensive processing section is decarbonization; the most expensive equipment is anaerobic digester; the most power-consuming processing section is digestion, followed by decarbonization and waste management. The positive green degree value on the process is attributed to processing section of digestion and waste management. 3:1 chicken feces and corn straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption and 3:1 chicken feces and rice straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption are turned out to be two robust technology combinations under different prices of methane and electricity by sensitivity analysis. The optimization results provide support for optimal design and operation of biogas production system considering environmental and economic objectives.

This study compared G-CSF/ATG and PTCy in myeloablative haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(haploHSCT)for hematologic malignancies between January 2013 and March 2018 reporting to the Chinese Bone Marrow Transplantation Registry Group(CBMTRG).For each PTCy,G-CSF/ATG subjects(1:4)were selected using the nested case-pair *** total,220 patients including 176 in G-CSF/ATG group and 44 in PTCy group were *** incidences of 30-day neutrophil engraftment(88.6%vs.96.6%,P=0.001),90-day platelet engraftment(84.1%vs.94.2%,P=0.04),the median time to neutrophil engraftment(17 days vs.12 days,P=0.000)and platelet engraftment(22 days vs.17 days,P=0.001)were significantly inferior in PTCy *** incidences of grades 2–4 and 3–4 acute graft-versus-host disease(GVHD),chronic GVHD and severe chronic GVHD were *** G-CSF/ATG and PTCy groups,the 3-year progression-free survival,overall survival,cumulative incidences of nonrelapse mortality and relapse was 74.3%vs.61%(P=0.045),78.3%vs.65.2%(P=0.039),12%vs.27.3%(P=0.008),and 14.9%vs.11.7%(P=0.61),respectively.G-CSF/ATG can achieve better engraftment,PFS and OS,and lower incidence of NRM compared to PTCy in myeloablative haplo-HSCT for hematologic malignancies.

Using minute data of eligible A+H stocks under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect(SHHKSC),we investigate the volatility spillover between the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock markets based on a generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity-X(GARCH-X)model with four exogenous variables,namely,volatilities of the corresponding stocks on the other market,volatilities of the indexes of both stock markets,and volatilities of the correlated stocks,which are selected using the dynamic conditional correlation model and bootstrap *** show that after the launch of the SHHKSC,volatility spillovers are significant in both directions almost all the time,and the volatility spillover between the two stock markets tends to be larger when bidirectional capital flows under the SHHKSC increase or when important financial events *** also analyze the influences of the volatilities of correlated stocks and industries on the volatility spillover and volatilities of A+H *** bidirectional volatility spillovers between Shanghai and Hong Kong stock markets do not change qualitatively after incorporating the volatilities of correlated stocks and industries in the GARCH-X ***,the average volatilities of the correlated stocks are shown to have significant influences on the volatilities of individual A+H stocks,and the influences increase when the local stock market shows a sharp rise or *** with the market indexes,the correlated stocks could be regarded as a more important and indispensable factor for individual A+H stocks’volatilities modeling,which may carry more information than the industry.

Protective mechanisms of Tuina therapy against lipopolysaccharide-induced fever in young rabbits based on untargeted metabolomics analysis

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Tuina on the plasma metabolites of lipopolysaccharide-induced febrile in infant ***:Twenty-four infant New Zealand rabbits were selected and randomly divided into three groups:saline,model,and *** fever model was established by injecting LPS intravenously through the ear margin vein in the model group and Tuina group,*** modeling was considered successful when the anal temperature increased by 0.5℃or above within 1 *** the Tuina group,six Tuina techniques(i.e.,opening Tianmen/the heaven gate,pushing Kangong/the superciliary arch,kneading Taiyang and the prominent bone behind the ears,clearing Tianheshui,spine pinching)that alleviate fever were performed on the young rabbits 1 h after the modeling,whereas the model and saline groups were not given Tuina treatment,with the real-time anal temperature monitored during the *** plasma was taken 3 h after the modeling for liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)untargeted metabolomics ***:Our results showed a fever-reducing effects of Tuina therapy on lipopolysaccharide-induced fever in young rabbits,as indicated by a significantly lower anal temperature,maximum rise in body temperature,and body response index at 2 and 3 h after modeling in the Tuina group compared to the model group,with reductions in the PGE2 expression observed in the blood and *** differential metabolites including riboflavin,nicotinamide N-oxide,porphobilinogen,5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid,gamma-aminobutyric acid,and lysoPC(16:1(9Z)/0:0)were found following the Tuina *** primarily involves glycine-serinethreonine,arginine-proline,porphyrin-chlorophyll,pyrimidine,primary bile acid biosynthesis,and cyanoamino acid metabolic ***:Tuina therapy has proven to be effective in reducing body temperature and down-regulating PGE2 expression in LPS-induced febrile young rabbits,with its mechanism of fever-reducing action poss

Alizarin,extracted from rubia cordifolia,is a green natural ***,its application has been limited by its poor water solubility and pH *** this study,linear sulfonic anionic surfactant(LAS)had been studied as a new dispersant,which promoted the dyeing of alizarin on fabrics under mild *** visible(UV-vis)spectra and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectra confirmed appropriate bonding between alizarin and LAS,and the nano particle size analysis showed that LAS could promote the dispersion of alizarin in aqueous *** the optimized condition of alizarin 4.8%on mass of fabric(omf)and LAS solution 2×10^(-2)mol/L,the fabrics were dyed with alizarin at room temperature and pH neutral *** dyed fabrics had good washing fastness and ironing fastness.

Conductive polyacrylonitrile fibers were prepared by electroless copper plating under weak alkaline conditions,with L-ascorbic acid as reducing *** influences of CuSO_(4)·5H_(2)O,L-ascorbic acid,2,2′-bipyridine and K_(4)Fe(CN)_(6) concentration on the conductivity and mass gain percentage of the fibers were *** morphological structure of the fibers was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and the mechanical properties of the fibers were analyzed through the mechanical property *** results showed that the optimal reaction conditions were as follows:26 g/L CuSO_(4)·5H_(2)O,26 g/L L-ascorbic acid,12 mg/L 2,2′-bipyridine,7 mg/L K 4Fe(CN)6,and 38℃.The volume resistivity of the conductive PAN fibers prepared by the process was only 3.84×10^(-3)Ω·cm.
