A composite arctigenin/caffeine/glucose formulation enhances anti-fatigue effect

Fatigue is a comprehensive response to a variety of physiological and biochemical changes in the *** strategies addressing relevant key factors simultaneously may enhance anti-fatigue *** this study,we aimed to develop new anti-fatigue agents with combining strategy based on bioinformatics *** indicated PI3k-Akt,cAMP,and p53 signaling pathway-related energy metabolism and antioxidant capacity were involved in exercise-induced physiological changes.A new representative complex agent(Z-005,containing arctigenin,caffeine,and glucose)addressing these key factors as well as central excitation was developed and tested.Z-005 showed a synergistic effect,greatly enhancing anti-fatigue efficiency than single components,in a mouse running wheel *** exhaustion distances were 2.40-fold greater than the control in the Z-005 group.Z-005 excited the central nervous system,increased the plasma superoxide dismutase and catalase concentrations,reduced lactic acid accumulation,maintained the glycogen ***,the expression of key genes in PI3K,cAMP,and p53 pathways,as well as the phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)were proved with enhancement by Z-005 *** composite formulation thus represents a new and practicable combined strategy for fatigue prevention,and the study findings can contribute to the development of treatments for fatigue-related sub-health.

Spermatogenesis, maturation, capacitation and fertilization are precisely regulated by glycosylation. However, the relationship between altered glycosylation patterns and the onset and development of reproductive disorders is unclear, mainly limited by the lack of in situ imaging techniques for spermatozoa glycosylation. We developed an efficient and highly specific spermatozoa glycan imaging technique based on the robust chemoselective labeling of sialic acid(Sia) and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine(Gal/GalNAc). We further proposed a “tandem glycan chemoselective labeling” strategy to achieve simultaneous imaging of two types of glycans on spermatozoa. We applied the developed method to the spermatozoa from oligozoospermic patients and diabetic mice and found that these spermatozoa showed higher levels of Sia and Gal/Gal NAc expression than the normal groups. Moreover, spermatozoa from diabetic mice showed a severe decrease in number, viability, and forward motility, suggesting that in vivo glucose metabolism disorders may lead to an elevated level of spermatozoa glycosylation and have a correlation with the development of oligoasthenotspermia. Our work provides a research tool to reveal the relationship between glycosylation modification and spermatozoa quality, and a promising clue for the development of glycan-based reproductive markers.

Linking coral fluorescence phenotypes to thermal bleaching in the reef-building Galaxea fascicularis from the northern South China Sea

Coral fluorescence phenotypes have been suggested as an adaptation to a broad range of environmental conditions,yet the mechanisms linking thermal bleaching tolerance in reef-building coral populations,associated with fluorescence phenotypes due to GFP-like proteins,remains *** this study,the relationship between the thermal sensitivity and phenotypic plasticity of corals was investigated using two phenotypes of Galaxea fascicularis,green and *** results reveal that brown *** was more susceptible to bleaching than green *** when exposed to a higher growth temperature of 32℃.Both phenotypes of *** were associated with the thermotolerant Symbiodiniaceae symbiont,Durusdinium ***,the brown *** showed a significant decrease in Symbiodiniaceae cell density and a significant increase in pathogenic bacteria abundance when the growth temperature was raised from 29 to 32℃.The physiological traits and transcriptomic profiles of Symbiodiniaceae were not notably affected,but there were differences in the transcriptional levels of certain genes between the two phenotype hosts of *** heat stress of 32℃,the gene encoding green fluorescent protein(GFP)-like and chromosome-associated proteins,as well as genes related to oxidative phosphorylation,cell growth and death showed lower transcriptional levels in the brown *** compared to the green ***,the results demonstrate that the green form of *** is better able to tolerate ocean warming and defend against pathogenic bacteria,likely due to higher gene transcription levels and defense ability.

Polarization and conduction losses are the two most crucial dielectric loss mechanisms for carbon-based composites,but their synergistic effects in different frequency bands need to be further *** importantly,for polarization and conduction losses,the strengthening of one party always comes at the expense of the other,which inevitably limits the overall performance of the ***,we have developed a composite of CNT and NiCo hybrid particles via a scalable wet chemical process and an-nealing *** the adjustment of the precursor and the annealing temperature,the conduction and polarization losses of the composite are optimized *** optimized samples achieved the full absorption of the X and Ku bands under conditions of low filling rate and thin *** theoretical and experimental studies have revealed conduction loss and polarization loss laws at different frequency *** synergistic effect of conductive loss and magnetic loss in the low-frequency region ensures that the sample exhibits high microwave dissipation ***,in the medium and high-frequency part,the magnetic loss can be almost ignored and the timely replenishment of polar-ization loss keeps the wave-absorbing performance at a high *** excellent multi-band absorption characteristics make the as-obtained absorbers meet the needs of future applications.

In this paper, an adaptive dynamic surface control algorithm is developed to simultaneously solve the problem of stabilization and tracking control for wheeled mobile robot with uncertain parameters and external disturbances. For the kinematic model, virtual controllers are deigned to achieve asymptotic stabilization and tracking. For the dynamic model, fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions. Furthermore, the adaptation laws are utilized to estimate the unknown parameters including the upper bounds of external disturbances, as well as the upper bounds of approximation errors and the norms of the optimal weight vectors of the fuzzy logic systems. Incorporating the dynamic surface control technique into the backstepping design method, the dynamic controller is proposed to overcome the problem of ‘explosion of terms’ so that the amount of calculation is reduced and it can be easy to realize in engineering. Using the Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that the proposed dynamic controller can make the tracking errors converge to a small neighborhood of the origin point. Finally,simulation results are given to show the validity of the proposed control scheme.

Analysis of Relation Between Binding and Magnetic Force in Generators in Extreme Conditions

Because of the action of strong magnetic forces, it's difficult to avoid end winding vibration in the large turbo-generator stator. Sometimes it leads to the occurrence of accidents and affects the normal operation of the generator. This paper firstly lays out the calculation method for end winding magnetic force. Second, based on the structure of large machines, the natural vibration frequency equation and forced oscillation equation is set up. Third, through the analysis of magnetic force calculation and vibration on the end winding of turbo-generator, it will be shown that the end winding vibration is related to the magnetic force and the position of winding binds as well as binding tightness. We can ease the winding vibration by distributing binding position appropriately or add more bindings, and test the concept through experimental data.

针对模拟电路的健康性能退化状况,提出一种特征选择与降维提取法(B&B+LDA)和隐马尔可夫模型(HMM)相结合、以KL距离为衡量标准的状态监测和健康评估方法.首先设置元件的参数提取幅频特征;其次针对特征存在的冗余性及高维性,采用B&B+LDA对原始特征进行提取,从而获得有效的特征集;再根据获得的特征监测出早期故障类型;最后利用正常态下的特征来训练HMM,并用其计算各状态对应的KL距离,得出故障程度,即实现电路健康退化的评估.将该方法应用于某模拟电路中,通过实验验证了其具有良好的模拟电路早期故障监测性能,与B&B,LDA,PCA及原始特征相比具有最好的状态监测与健康评估能力.
