Background and Aims:This study was designed to analyze the effects of age and clinicopathological characteristics on prognosis of Chinese patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:The clinical data of 2032 HCC patients who were first diagnosed with HCC and underwent curative hepatectomy in our hospital between January 2006 and January 2011 were retrospectively ***:Younger HCC patients(age<40 years,n=465)had a significantly higher hepatitis B infection rate,larger tumors,higher alpha-fetoprotein levels,higher preoperative liver function,and more frequent vascular invasions than older *** younger patients were suitable for anatomical hepatectomy,and their tumors were found to be at a highly advanced *** recurrence-free survival and overall survival rates of younger HCC patients were significantly worse than those of older patients but this difference disappeared after propensity score *** analysis of pre-matched samples showed that age≤40 years was one of the independent risk factors associated with poor overall ***:Younger patients showed different clinicopathological characteristics than older patients,such as higher rates of hepatitis B infection and advanced *** recurrence-free survival and overall survival rates of younger HCC patients after hepatectomy may be similar to those of older patients.

Wave propagation in multi-phase porous media is a significant research topic. There are a series of studies about porous media saturated with a single fluid, a solid and a fluid, two fluids, and three fluids. Some gas hydrate-bearing sediments are typical multiphase porous media saturated with a solid(gas hydrates) and two fluids(water and gas). Based on existing theories of porous media, we develop a theory and give a comprehensive analysis of wave propagation in a poroelastic medium saturated with two fluids and a solid. Initially, we establish the constitutive relations and equations of motion. Based on Biot's approach for describing the equations of motion in fluid-saturated porous media at the macroscale,the kinetic energy density, potential energy density, and dissipative energy density are derived. After deriving the equations of motion, a plane wave analysis predicts the existence of four compressional waves, denoted P1, P2, P3, and P4 waves,and two shear waves, denoted S1 and S2 waves. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate how velocities and attenuations of various waves behave with gas saturation, gas hydrate saturation, and frequency. A model degradation to porous media saturated with a single fluid supports the validity of the theory, which enriches the theory of multiphase porous media and provides a foundation for the evaluation of gas hydrate-bearing sediments.

The burgeoning market for lithium-ion batteries has stimulated a growing need for more reliable battery performance monitoring. Accurate state-of-health(SOH) estimation is critical for ensuring battery operational performance. Despite numerous data-driven methods reported in existing research for battery SOH estimation, these methods often exhibit inconsistent performance across different application scenarios. To address this issue and overcome the performance limitations of individual data-driven models,integrating multiple models for SOH estimation has received considerable attention. Ensemble learning(EL) typically leverages the strengths of multiple base models to achieve more robust and accurate outputs. However, the lack of a clear review of current research hinders the further development of ensemble methods in SOH estimation. Therefore, this paper comprehensively reviews multi-model ensemble learning methods for battery SOH estimation. First, existing ensemble methods are systematically categorized into 6 classes based on their combination strategies. Different realizations and underlying connections are meticulously analyzed for each category of EL methods, highlighting distinctions, innovations, and typical applications. Subsequently, these ensemble methods are comprehensively compared in terms of base models, combination strategies, and publication trends. Evaluations across 6 dimensions underscore the outstanding performance of stacking-based ensemble methods. Following this, these ensemble methods are further inspected from the perspectives of weighted ensemble and diversity, aiming to inspire potential approaches for enhancing ensemble performance. Moreover, addressing challenges such as base model selection, measuring model robustness and uncertainty, and interpretability of ensemble models in practical applications is emphasized. To elucidate the mechanisms of regulating the microstructure uniformity in 7050 aluminum forgings through surface cumulative plastic deformation(SCPD),the microstructure under different solution treatments was investigated using metallographic observation(OM),electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The findings demonstrate that the most uniform microstructure in the forgings is achieved with a solution treatment at 470℃for 30 *** SCPD process generates a significant number of needle-shaped precipitates,resulting in a higher dislocation density and stored *** treatments alleviate the pinning effect of second-phase particles and facilitate static recrystallization(SRX)in forgings,leading to a reduction in grain ***,mechanical testing results demonstrate 7%−13%increase in tensile strength and more uniform elongation of the forgings in different directions.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Xiangshao Granules(XSG)on post-stroke depression(PSD)and explore the underlying *** Forty-three C57BL/6J mice were divided into 3 groups:sham(n=15),PSD+vehicle(n=14),and PSD+XSG(n=14)groups according to a random number *** PSD models were constructed using chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)after middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).The sham group only experienced the same surgical operation,but without MACO and CUMS *** XSG group received XSG(60 mg/kg per day)by gavage for 4 *** mice in the sham and vehicle groups were given the same volume of 0.9%saline at the same *** body weight and behavior tests including open field test,sucrose preference test,tail suspension test,and elevated plus-maze test,were used to validate the PSD mouse ***-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR),enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and immunofluorescence staining were used to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effects of *** potential molecular mechanisms were explored and verified through network pharmacology analysis,Nissl staining,Western blot,ELISA,and RT-qPCR,*** The body weight and behavior tests showed that MCAO combined with CUMS successfully established the PSD *** alleviated neuronal damage,reduced the expressions of pro-apoptotic proteins Caspase-3 and B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL-2)-associated X(BAX),and increased the expression of anti-apoptotic protein BCL-2 in PSD mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).XSG inhibited microglial activation and the expressions of pro-inflammatory cytokines including tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,and IL-6 via the toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor kappa-B signaling pathway in PSD mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Furthermore,XSG decreased the expression of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase1(IDO1)and increased the concentration of 5-hydroxytryptamine in PSD mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion XSG could reverse

The corrosion behavior and microstructure characteristics of metal inert gas(MIG)welded dissimilar joints of the 6005A alloy modified with Sc(designated as 6005A+Sc)and the 5083 alloy were investigated using corrosion tests and microscopy *** show that the dissimilar joints exhibit strong stress corrosion cracking(SCC)resistance,maintaining substantial strength during slow strain rate tensile ***,the heat-affected zone(HAZ)and base metal(BM)on the 6005A+Sc side show superior performance in terms of inter-granular corrosion(IGC)and exfoliation corrosion(EXCO)compared to the corresponding zones on the 5083 *** lower corrosion resistance of the 5083-BM and the 5083-HAZ can be attributed to the presence of numerous Al_(2)Mg_(3)phases and micro-scaled Al_(6)(Mn,Fe)intermetallics,mainly distributed along the rolling ***,the enhanced corrosion resistance of the 6005A+Sc-BM and the 6005A+Sc-HAZ can be attributed to the discontinuously distributed grain boundary precipitates(β-Mg_(2)Si),the smaller grain size,and the reduced corrosive current density.

Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Juan Bi Pill(JBP)in treatment of active rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:From February 2017 to May 2018,115 participants from 4 centers were randomly divided into JBP group(57 cases)and placebo group(58 cases)in a 1:1 ratio using a random number table *** received a dose of JBP(4 g,twice a day,orally)combined with methotrexate(MTX,10 mg per week)or placebo(4 g,twice a day,orally)combined with MTX for 12 *** were required with follow-up visits at 24 and 48 weeks,attending 7 assessment *** were undergo disease activity assessment 7 times(at baseline and 2,4,8,12,24,48 weeks)and safety assessments 6 times(at baseline and 4,8,12,24,48 weeks).The primary endpoint was 28-joint Disease Activity Score(DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP).The secondary endpoints included American College of Rheumatology(ACR)criteria for 20%and 50%improvement(ACR20/50),Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index(HAQ-DI),clinical disease activity index(CDAI),visual analog scale(VAS),Short Form-36(SF-36)score,Medial Outcomes Study(MOS)sleep scale score,serum erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),tender joint count,swollen joint count,and morning *** adverse reactions were observed during the ***:After 12 weeks of treatment,DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP scores in both groups were lower than before treatment(both P<0.01),while the remission rate of DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP and low disease activity of JBP group were higher than those in the placebo group(both P<0.01).JBP demonstrated better efficacy on ACR20 and ACR50 compliance rate at 12 and 48 weeks comparing to placebo(all P<0.05).The CDAI and HAQ-DI score,pain VAS and global VAS change of RA patients and physicians,the serum ESR and CRP levels,and the number of tenderness and swelling joints were lower than before treatment at 4,8,12,24,48 weeks in both groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while the reduction of above indices in
