Transparent thin films of ZnO have been prepared on ordinary glass substrates by the inorganic sol-gel method using citric acid as chelating agent and zinc nitrate as the starting material. A novel structure on zinc citrate complex was put forward by using DTA-TG and FT-IR absorbanee spectrum of citrate gels. Phase formation, morphology and optical properties of ZnO films are investigated by XRD, AFM and UV-vis transmittance spectra. The experimental results show that ZnO thin films derived from zinc citrate sol-gel method showed a （002） oriented hexagonal wurtzite structure, good crystalline property, a uniform range of grain size （40 nm）, smooth surface of films, band gap of 3.28 eV and optical transmittances ratio over 90% in the visible range.

An innovative K+vacant ternary perovskite fluoride(K_(0.89)Ni_(0.02)Co_(0.03)Mn_(0.95)F_(3.0),KNCMF-3#)anode was designed for advanced Li-ion supercapattery(i.e.,Li-ion capacitors/batteries,LIC/Bs).Owing to the conversion/insertion dual mechanisms and fast pseudocapacitive con-trol dynamics,the KNCMF-3#electrode exhibits superior electrochemical performance,especially the excellent cycle performance(467%(229 mAh·g^(-1))/1000 cycles/2 A·g^(-1)).Moreover,the hybrid KNCMF-3#/reduced gra-phene oxide(rGO)electrode can further increase the electrochemical performance(217-97 mAh·g^(-1)/0.1-3.2 A·g^(-1),150%(197 mAh·g^(-1))/1000 cycles/2 A·g^(-1)).Also,a novel capacitor/battery cathode,activated carbon(AC)+LiFePO_(4)+graphene(AC+LFP+G),exhibits impres-sive performance(128-82 mAh·g^(-1)/0.1-3.2 A·g^(-1),84%/1000 cycles/2 A·g^(-1)).By the synergistic optimization of anode and cathode,the Li-ion supercapattery KNCMF-3#@rGO//AC+LFP+G demonstrates remarkable per-formance,for example,111.9-23.8 Wh·kg^(-1)/0.4-8.0 kW·kg^(-1)/82%/2000 cycles/5 A·g^(-1)/0-4 V,which is superior to KNCMF-3#//AC LICs,KNCMF-3#@rGO//AC LICs,KNCMF-3#//AC+LFP+G LIC/*** all,the novel Li-ion supercapattery idea adds a promising per-spective to develop advanced energy storage devices.

CO_(2) electroreduction to formic acid/formate would contribute to alleviating the energy and climate *** work reports a Bi-based catalyst derived from the in-situ electroreduction of Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3) modified with iodine and pyrenyl-graphdiyne(PGDY)on the surface for efficient electroreduction of CO_(2) in acidic electrolyte,with a high partial current density of 98.71 mA·cm^(-2) and high Faradaic efficiency(FE)>90%over the potential range from^(-1).2 to-1.5 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),as well as the long-term operational stability over 240 h without degradation in H-type *** results and density function theory calculations show that the synergistic effect of surface iodine and PGDY is responsible for this active and extremely stable process of CO_(2) electroreduction via lowering the energy barriers for formation of*OCHO intermediate,suppressing the competitive HER by enhancing the concentration of both K+and CO_(2) at reaction interface,as well as preventing the dissolution and re-deposition of active Bi atoms on surface during catalytic *** work provides new insight into designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts for CO_(2) reduction.

As a fundamental logistics service,the express delivery(ED)industry provides production and consumption activities to maintain efficient supply chain *** plays an important role in promoting industrial development and maintaining daily life and *** study examined the effects of COVID-19 on the ED industry using ED package delivery data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in *** a difference-in-differences method,the COVID-19 outbreak was found to have a positive effect and epidemic prevention and control(EPC)policies were found to have negative effects on the development of the ED *** addition to EPC policies,the Chinese government has implemented other short-term economic interventions(SEI),such as the resumption of work and production(RWP),policies to balance economic growth,and epidemic *** study divided the pandemic period into three stages to analyze the different impacts of EPC and SEI policy changes on the ED *** RWP policies adopted during the pandemic positively impacted the volume and income of packages delivered to the ED *** conclusions of this study are significant for the ED industry in addressing public health emergencies and for the Chinese government to formulate EPC and SEI policies during epidemic periods.

The risk of mpox importation and subsequent outbreak potential in Chinese mainland: a retrospective statistical modelling study

Background The 2022-2023 mpox(monkeypox)outbreak has spread rapidly across multiple countries in the non-endemic region,mainly among men who have sex with men(MSM).In this study,we aimed to evaluate mpox's importation risk,border screening effectiveness and the risk of local outbreak in Chinese *** We estimated the risk of mpox importation in Chinese mainland from April 14 to September 11,2022 using the number of reported mpox cases during this multi-country outbreak from *** and the international air-travel data from Official Aviation *** constructed a probabilistic model to simulate the effectiveness of a border screening scenario during the mpox outbreak and a hypothetical scenario with less stringent quarantine *** we further evaluated the mpox outbreak potential given that undetected mpox infections were introduced into men who have sex with men,considering different transmissibility,population immunity and population *** We found that the reduced international air-travel volume and stringent border entry policy decreased about 94% and 69% mpox importations *** the quarantine policy,15-19% of imported infections would remain *** a case of mpox is introduced into active MSM population with almost no population immunity,the risk of triggering local transmission is estimated at 42%,and would rise to>95% with over six *** Our study demonstrates that the reduced international air-travel volume and stringent border entry policy during the COvID-19 pandemic reduced mpox importations ***,the risk could be sub-stantially higher with the recovery of air-travel volume to pre-pandemic *** could emerge as a public health threat for Chinese mainland given its large MSM community.

Herein,a novel molecular tweezer based on 2,2'-bipyridine-bridged porphyrin subunits was constructed for efficient fullerenes *** syn conformation of the molecule,which was obtained by Zn(Ⅱ)coordination,gives rise to a proper cavity to interact with fullerene guests to form a stable 1:1 complex in toluene *** exhibits distinct binding selectivity towards C_(60)over C_(70).Moreover,the fullerene recognition capacity can be adequately suppressed by importing H_(2)PO_(4)^(-)to competitively capture Zn(Ⅱ)along with syn-anti conformational ***,the molecular tweezer regenerated to bind the fullerene by introducing the Ca^(2+)into the ***,the association-disassociation process can be switched reversibly and repeatedly.

The following are our views regarding the“letter to the editor”(Helicobacter is preserved in yeast vacuoles!Does Koch’s postulates confirm it?)by Alipour and Gaeini,and the response“letter to the editor”(Candida accommodates nonculturable Helicobacter pylori in its vacuole-Koch’s postulates aren’t applicable)by Siavoshi and *** and Gaeini rejected the methods,results,discussion,and conclusions summarized in a review article by Siavoshi and *** present article reviews and discusses evidence on the evolutionary adaptation of Helicobacter pylori(***)to thrive in Candida cell vacuoles and concludes that Candida could act as a Trojan horse,transporting potentially infectious *** into the stomach of humans.
