On-demand food delivery(OFD)is gaining more and more popularity in modern society.As a kernel order assignment manner in OFD scenario,order recommendation directly influences the delivery efficiency of the platform and the delivery experience of riders.This paper addresses the dynamism of the order recommendation problem and proposes a reinforcement learning solution method.An actor-critic network based on long short term memory(LSTM)unit is designed to deal with the order-grabbing conflict between different riders.Besides,three rider sequencing rules are accordingly proposed to match different time steps of the LSTM unit with different riders.To test the performance of the proposed method,extensive experiments are conducted based on real data from Meituan delivery platform.The results demonstrate that the proposed reinforcement learning based order recommendation method can significantly increase the number of grabbed orders and reduce the number of order-grabbing conflicts,resulting in better delivery efficiency and experience for the platform and riders.

Objective:To examine the therapeutic effect of Fangji Fuling Decoction(FFD) on sepsis through network pharmacological analysis combined with in vitro and in vivo experiments.Methods:A sepsis mouse model was constructed through intraperitoneal injection of 20 mg/kg lipopolysaccharide(LPS).RAW264.7 cells were stimulated by 250 ng/m L LPS to establish an in vitro cell model.Network pharmacology analysis identified the key molecular pathway associated with FFD in sepsis.Through ectopic expression and depletion experiments,the effect of FFD on multiple organ damage in septic mice,as well as on cell proliferation and apoptosis in relation to the mitogen-activated protein kinase 14/Forkhead Box O 3A(MAPK14/FOXO3A) signaling pathway,was analyzed.Results:FFD reduced organ damage and inflammation in LPS-induced septic mice and suppressed LPS-induced macrophage apoptosis and inflammation in vitro(P<0.05).Network pharmacology analysis showed that FFD could regulate the MAPK14/FOXO signaling pathway during sepsis.As confirmed by in vitro cell experiments,FFD inhibited the MAPK14 signaling pathway or FOXO3A expression to relieve LPS-induced macrophage apoptosis and inflammation(P<0.05).Furthermore,FFD inhibited the MAPK14/FOXO3A signaling pathway to inhibit LPS-induced macrophage apoptosis in the lung tissue of septic mice(P<0.05).Conclusion:FFD could ameliorate the LPS-induced inflammatory response in septic mice by inhibiting the MAPK14/FOXO3A signaling pathway.

BACKGROUND Hemichorea and other hyperkinetic movement disorders are uncommon present-ations of stroke and are usually secondary to deep infarctions affecting the basal ganglia and thalamus.Therefore,temporal ischemic lesions causing hemichorea are rare.We report the cases of two patients with acute ischemic temporal lobe infarct strokes that presented as hemichorea.CASE SUMMARY Patient 1:An 82-year-old woman presented with a 1-mo history of involuntary movement of the left extremity,which was consistent with hemichorea.Her diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)revealed an acute ischemic stroke that predominantly affected the right temporal cortex,and magnetic resonance angiography of the head showed significant stenosis of the right middle cerebral artery(MCA).Treatment with 2.5 mg of olanzapine per day was initiated.When she was discharged from the hospital,her symptoms appeared to have improved compared with those previously observed.Twenty-seven days after the first admission,she was readmitted due to acute ischemic stroke.Computed tomogra-phy perfusion showed marked hypoperfusion in the right MCA territory.An emergency transfemoral cerebral angiogram was performed and showed severe stenosis in the M1 segment of the right MCA.After percutaneous transluminal angioplasty was successfully performed,abnormal movements or other neuro-logic problems did not occur.Patient 2:A 76-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for a 7-d history of right-upper-sided involuntary movements.DWI showed an acute patchy ischemic stroke in the left temporal lobe without basal ganglia involvement.Subsequent diffusion tensor imaging confirmed fewer white matter fiber tracts on the left side than on the opposite side.Treatment with 2.5 mg of olanzapine per day improved his condition,and he was discharged.CONCLUSION When acute hemichorea suddenly appears,temporal cortical ischemic stroke should be considered a possible diagnosis.In addition,hemichorea may be a sign of impending cerebral infarction with MCA stenosis.

Tannery sludge with high chromium content has been identified as hazardous solid waste due to its potential toxic effects.The safety disposal and valorization of the tannery sludge remains a challenge.In this study,the chromium stabilization mechanism was systematically investigated during chromium-rich tannery sludge was converted to biochar and the removal performance of the sludge biochar(SBC)for Cr(Ⅵ)from tannery wastewater was also investigated.The results showed that increase in pyrolysis temperature was conductive to the stabilization of Cr and significant reduction of the proportion of Cr(Ⅵ)in SBC.It was confirmed that the stabilization of chromium mainly was attributed to the embedding of chromium in the C matrix and the transformation of the chromium-containing substances from the amorphous Cr(OH)_(3)to the crystalline state,such as(FeMg)Cr_(2)O_(5).The biochar presented high adsorption capacity of Cr(Ⅵ)at low pH and the maximal theoretical adsorption capacity of SBC produced at 800°C can reach 352 mg Cr(Ⅵ)/g,the process of which can be well expressed by Langmuir adsorption isotherm and pseudo second order model.The electrostatic effect and reduction reaction were dominantly responsible for the Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption by SBC800.Overall,this study provided a novel strategy for the harmless disposal and resource utilization for the solid waste containing chromium in leather industry.

B_(4)C–TiB_(2)is an advanced electrically conductive ceramic with excellent mechanical and electrical discharge machinable properties.It is challenging and rewarding to achieve highly conductive and hard B_(4)C–TiB_(2)composites at a minimum content of conductive TiB2 that has inferior hardness but double specific gravity of the B_(4)C matrix.A novel strategy was used to construct conductive networks in B_(4)C‒15 vol%TiB2 composite ceramics with B_(4)C,TiC,and amorphous B as raw materials by a two-step spark plasma sintering method.The influences of particle size matching between B_(4)C and TiC on the conducting of the strategy and the microstructure were discussed based on the selective matrix grain growth mechanism.The mechanical and electrical properties were also systematically investigated.The B_(4)C–15 vol%TiB2 composite ceramic prepared from 10.29µm B_(4)C and 0.05µm TiC powders exhibited a perfect three-dimensional interconnected conductive network with a maximum electrical conductivity of 4.25×10^(4)S/m,together with excellent mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness of 691±58 MPa,30.30±0.61 GPa,and 5.75±0.32 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively,while the composite obtained from 3.12µm B_(4)C and 0.8µm TiC powders had the best mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness of 827±35 MPa,32.01±0.51 GPa,and 6.45±0.22 MPa·m^(1/2),together with a decent electrical conductivity of 0.65×10^(4)S/m.

An amphiphilic derivative with a large Stokes shift by introducing flexible hydrophilic long chains into a rigid ethylene-pyrene compound have been successfully synthesized.The alkylated compound exhibited a notable change in charge distribution,facilitating cation-π interactions.Through the process of amphiphilic self-assembly,the formation of highly ordered aggregates enabled effective photo-dimerization under 449 nm LED irradiation.Notably,this photo-responsive technology not only exhibited advanced multi-color emission effects,including white light emission but also exhibited environmentally friendly behavior in the aqueous phase.

OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of extracorporeal shockwave therapy(ESWT)combined with sodium hyaluronate(HA)for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:PubM ed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,and SinoMed were searched from inception to July 2020.The quality of the randomized controlled trials was evaluated independently by two reviewers according to the criteria in the Cochrane Collaboration for Systematic Reviews.The identified articles were then screened individually using EndnoteX9 for eligibility in this Meta-analysis.The heterogeneity among the articles was evaluated using I2.RESULTS:A total of 17 studies,comprising 2000 individuals,were included in this Meta-analysis.The results showed that a significant improvement was observed in knee pain and function based on the clinical efficacy of ESWT combined with HA.Statistical analysis of clinical efficacy showed that[relative risk(RR)=1.21,95%confidence interval(CI)(1.12,1.30),P<0.01].Statistical analysis of visual analog scale showed that[standardized mean difference(SMD)=-2.84,95%CI(-4.01,-1.66),P<0.01].Western Ontario and McMaster University osteoarthritis index statistical analysis showed that[SMD=-1.57,95%CI(-2.52,-0.61),P<0.01].Lysholm score statistical analysis showed that[SMD=1.71,95%CI(0.98,2.44),P<0.01].In addition,only minor side effects,such as redness and swelling of the skin,were observed.CONCLUSIONS:Medium to low quality evidence showed that ESWT combined with HA offers an inexpensive,welltolerated,safe,and effective method to improve pain and functionality in patients with KOA.However,tightly controlled,randomized,large multicenter trials are warranted to validate the current findings.

TiZrTaNb-based high-entropy alloys(HEAs)are research frontier of biomedical materials due to their high hardness,good yield strength,excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance.Sn,as an essential trace element in the human body that plays a significant role in physiological process.It has stable chemical properties and a low elastic modulus.In this study,a new material,TiZrTaNbSn HEAs,was proposed as a potential biomedical alloy.The Ti_(35)Zr_(25)Ta_(15)Nb_(15)Sn_(10)biomedical high-entropy alloys(BHEAs)were successfully prepared through an arc melting furnace and then remelted using a German high-temperature and high-pressure apparatus under GPa-level(4 GPa and 7 GPa).The precipitation behavior of the needle-like HCP-Zr_(5)Sn_(3)phase that precipitates discontinuously at the grain boundary was successfully controlled.The phase constitution,microstructure,and corrosion resistance of the alloy were studied.The results show that the needle-like HCP-Zr_(5)Sn_(3)phase is eliminated and the(Zr,Sn)-rich nano-precipitated phase is precipitated in the microstructure under high pressure,which leads to the narrowing of grain boundaries and consequently improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy.In addition,the formation mechanisms of(Zr,Sn)-rich nanoprecipitates in BHEAs were discussed.More Zr and Sn dissolve in the matrix due to the effect of high pressure,during the cooling process,they precipitate to form a(Zr,Sn)-rich nano-precipitated phase.

Nanotherapeutics targeting autophagy regulation for improved cancer therapy

The clinical efficacy of current cancer therapies falls short,and there is a pressing demand to integrate new targets with conventional therapies.Autophagy,a highly conserved self-degradation process,has received considerable attention as an emerging therapeutic target for cancer.With the rapid development of nanomedicine,nanomaterials have been widely utilized in cancer therapy due to their unrivaled delivery performance.Hence,considering the potential benefits of integrating autophagy and nanotechnology in cancer therapy,we outline the latest advances in autophagy-based nanotherapeutics.Based on a brief background related to autophagy and nanotherapeutics and their impact on tumor progression,the feasibility of autophagy-based nanotherapeutics for cancer treatment is demonstrated.Further,emerging nanotherapeutics developed to modulate autophagy are reviewed from the perspective of cell signaling pathways,including modulation of the mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)pathway,autophagy-related(ATG)and its complex expression,reactive oxygen species(ROS)and mitophagy,interference with autophagosome-lysosome fusion,and inhibition of hypoxia-mediated autophagy.In addition,combination therapies in which nano-autophagy modulation is combined with chemotherapy,phototherapy,and immunotherapy are also described.Finally,the prospects and challenges of autophagy-based nanotherapeutics for efficient cancer treatment are envisioned.
