Comparison of biliary protein spectrum in gallstone patients with obesity and those with normal body weight

Background:Obesity is a common public health issue and is currently deemed a disease.Research has shown that the risk of gallstones in individuals with obesity is elevated.This study aimed to explore the bile proteomics differences between cholelithiasis patients with obesity and normal body weight.Methods:Bile samples from 20 patients(10 with obesity and 10 with normal body weight)who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy at our center were subjected to tandem mass tag labeling(TMT)and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS),followed by further bioinformatic analysis.Results:Among the differentially expressed proteins,23 were upregulated and 67 were downregulated.Bioinformatic analysis indicated that these differentially expressed proteins were mainly involved in cell development,inflammatory responses,glycerolipid metabolic processes,and protein activation cascades.In addition,the activity of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR,a subfamily of nuclear receptors)signaling pathway was decreased in the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analysis.Two downregulated proteins in the PPAR signaling pathway,APO A-I and APO A-II,were confirmed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Conclusions:The PPAR signaling pathway may play a crucial role in the development of cholelithiasis among patients with obesity.Furthermore,biliary proteomics profiling of gallstones patients with obesity is revealed,providing a reference for future research.

Analytical solution for the effective elastic properties of rocks with the tilted penny-shaped cracks in the transversely isotropic background

Seismic prediction of cracks is of great significance in many disciplines,for which the rock physics model is indispensable.However,up to now,multitudinous analytical models focus primarily on the cracked rock with the isotropic background,while the explicit model for the cracked rock with the anisotropic background is rarely investigated in spite of such case being often encountered in the earth.Hence,we first studied dependences of the crack opening displacement tensors on the crack dip angle in the coordinate systems formed by symmetry planes of the crack and the background anisotropy,respectively,by forty groups of numerical experiments.Based on the conclusion from the experiments,the analytical solution was derived for the effective elastic properties of the rock with the inclined penny-shaped cracks in the transversely isotropic background.Further,we comprehensively analyzed,according to the developed model,effects of the crack dip angle,background anisotropy,filling fluid and crack density on the effective elastic properties of the cracked rock.The analysis results indicate that the dip angle and background anisotropy can significantly either enhance or weaken the anisotropy degrees of the P-and SH-wave velocities,whereas they have relatively small effects on the SV-wave velocity anisotropy.Moreover,the filling fluid can increase the stiffness coefficients related to the compressional modulus by reducing crack compliance parameters,while its effects on shear coefficients depend on the crack dip angle.The increasing crack density reduces velocities of the dry rock,and decreasing rates of the velocities are affected by the crack dip angle.By comparing with exact numerical results and experimental data,it was demonstrated that the proposed model can achieve high-precision estimations of stiffness coefficients.Moreover,the assumption of the weakly anisotropic background results in the consistency between the proposed model and Hudson's published theory for the orthorhombic rock.

Potential evaluation of saline aquifers for the geological storage of carbon dioxide: A case study of saline aquifers in the Qian-5 member in northeastern Ordos Basin

The well-developed coal electricity generation and coal chemical industries have led to huge carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in the northeastern Ordos Basin.The geological storage of CO_(2) in saline aquifers is an effective backup way to achieve carbon neutrality.In this case,the potential of saline aquifers for CO_(2) storage serves as a critical basis for subsequent geological storage project.This study calculated the technical control capacities of CO_(2) of the saline aquifers in the fifth member of the Shiqianfeng Formation(the Qian-5 member)based on the statistical analysis of the logging and the drilling and core data from more than 200 wells in the northeastern Ordos Basin,as well as the sedimentary facies,formation lithology,and saline aquifer development patterns of the Qian-5 member.The results show that(1)the reservoirs of saline aquifers in the Qian-5 member,which comprise distributary channel sand bodies of deltaic plains,feature low porosities and permeabilities;(2)The study area hosts three NNE-directed saline aquifer zones,where saline aquifers generally have a single-layer thickness of 3‒8 m and a cumulative thickness of 8‒24 m;(3)The saline aquifers of the Qian-5 member have a total technical control capacity of CO_(2) of 119.25×10^(6) t.With the largest scale and the highest technical control capacity(accounting for 61%of the total technical control capacity),the Jinjie-Yulin saline aquifer zone is an important prospect area for the geological storage of CO_(2) in the saline aquifers of the Qian-5 member in the study area.

TOA positioning algorithm of LBL system for underwater target based on PSO

For the underwater long baseline(LBL)positioning systems,the traditional distance intersection algorithm simplifies the sound speed to a constant,and calculates the underwa-ter target position parameters with a nonlinear iteration.However,due to the complex underwater environment,the sound speed changes with time and space,and then the acoustic propagation path is actually a curve,which inevitably causes some errors to the traditional distance intersection positioning algorithm.To reduce the position error caused by the uncertain underwater sound speed,a new time of arrival(TOA)intersection underwater positioning algorithm of LBL system is proposed.Firstly,combined with the vertical layered model of the underwater sound speed,an implicit positioning model of TOA intersection is constructed through the constant gradient acoustic ray tracing.And then an optimization function based on the overall TOA residual square sum is advanced to solve the position parameters for the underwater target.Moreover,the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is replaced with the tra-ditional nonlinear least square method to optimize the implicit positioning model of TOA intersection.Compared with the traditional distance intersection positioning model,the TOA intersec-tion positioning model is more suitable for the engineering practice and the optimization algorithm is more effective.Simulation results show that the proposed methods in this paper can effectively improve the positioning accuracy for the underwater target.

Regional power system transitions towards carbon neutrality:The case of North China

China has announced its goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2060,which will have a profound impact on its energy and economic systems.During this process,the power sector will play a key role in helping the country on its road towards carbon neutrality.This study develops a multi-regional power dispatch and capacity expansion model to combine long-term capacity expansion with short-term power dispatch.The model is built to optimise the carbon-neutral transition pathway from the perspective of economics,focussing on power system stability and reliability under high penetrations of renewables.Using the case study of North China,the cost-effective methods for power system transitions under the targets of reaching peak emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060 are discussed under different scenarios.We find that the future power supply system will rely heavily on renewable energy which will account for more than 89%of power generation.Inner Mongolia will produce more than 84%of power in the North China region.The inter-regional power transmission capacity will be five times higher than its current level.Policy choices will lead to different transition pathways as the early-stage installation decisions will have a lock-in effect on the following carbon emission reduction strategies and determine the importance of technologies adopted in achieving carbon neutrality.Although the transition to a low-carbon economy will result in an increase in cost by 17–19%,it will bring huge climate benefits to the world.

随着《民法典》以及司法解释的出台,实务部门在审理忠诚协议案件中“同案不同判”的问题并没有消解。面对忠诚协议是否有效的质疑,体系化视角审视《民法典》总则编、婚姻家庭编、合同编、侵权责任编以及人格权编的内在关联,可以发现忠诚协议在违约之诉与离婚诉讼中仍具有适法空间。在明晰忠诚协议有效之前提条件与除外情形基础上,探讨其参照适用合同编单独起诉之路径及离婚诉讼中证据辅助之功能,实务部门可以结合《民法典》各编原则性规范与具体性内容,对违约金、财产分配以及精神损害赔偿等主张作出合理的自由裁量。

我国民事立法层面尚未做好将“性自主权”明确列入一般人格权范畴的理论准备。在处理日益增多的“性自主权”侵权纠纷中,法院在审判过程中确认“性自主权”的权利属性时出现了司法偏差。这就需要从“性自主权”概念和属性的法理辨析中明确其人格权本质,从法教义学角度实现“性自主权”一般人格权抑或其他人格权益的权利证成,进而为法院“据法裁判”提供理论依托。通过对“性自主权”侵权情形的划分和归类,明晰侵犯“性自主权”的构成要件和基本特征;通过梳理民事诉讼以及刑事附带民事诉讼中侵犯“性自主权”的法律规范,明确侵犯“性自主权”,尤其是在刑民交叉案件中的责任认定、救济措施以及存在的规制漏洞。在此基础上,厘清因侵犯“性自主权”提起精神损害赔偿的法律依据、认定机制和赔偿标准。

风电和光伏的高渗透率增加了新型电力系统对灵活性资源需求.虚拟电厂作为一个特殊电厂聚合了可控分布式电源、新能源、储能、碳处理、负荷等各类资源,“对内协同”可以实现内部资源协同调控,“对外统一”可以参与外部电碳市场获利.基于此,本文创新地提出了虚拟电厂参与电碳多类市场分布鲁棒优化模型.为了刻画风电和光伏的不确定性,构造了基于Wasserstein距离的分布模糊集和基于数据驱动的误差不确定集.为了兼顾经济性和鲁棒性,考虑内部运行成本以及外部参与多类市场收益,构建了最坏分布下期望收益最大的两阶段鲁棒优化模型,并提出模型求解方法.为了保证联盟动态平衡,提出了多层利益分配方法.最后,算例分析表明:在“对内协同,对外统一”的经营模式下,有效激发虚拟电厂内各类资源的潜力,参与多个市场后获取共享利益,实现了多方互利共赢.所提模型具有数据驱动、快速求解、灵活可控、经济实用等优越性.多层利益分配方法能够简便、有效地将共享效益传导至各主体.

A huge pancreatic lipoma mimicking a well-differentiated liposarcoma: A case report and systematic literature review

BACKGROUND Pancreatic lipomas are thought to be very rare.Lipomas are usually easy to identify on imaging,particularly via computed tomography (CT).But sometimes it’s quite difficult to distinguish a lipoma from a well-liposarcoma without histologic result.CASE SUMMARY Here,we present a case of pancreatic lipoma in a 59-year-old female.She was asymptomatic and had no medical history of note.CT and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a mass like well-differentiated liposarcoma in the pancreatic head,positron emission tomography/CT showed a low fluorodeoxyglucose uptake and laboratory tests revealed elevated transaminase and carbohydrate antigen-199 levels.Finally,the patient underwent a pancreaticoduodenectomy.Histologically,mature adipocytes were noted in the bulk of the tumor.Accordingly,the pathologic diagnosis of the pancreatic neoplasm was lipoma.To our knowledge,this case is the first example of a suspected well-differentiated liposarcoma that was actually a pancreatic lipoma.We also highlight the radiological features distinguishing a pancreatic lipoma from a pancreatic liposarcoma and briefly review the literature.CONCLUSION Pancreatic lipomas show no obvious gender bias and most commonly occur in the head of the pancreas,of which the maximum diameters are often less than 5 cm,and small,asymptomatic non-compressed lipomas require follow-up only.Surgical excision should be considered when the tumor has compressed important tissues or is difficult to distinguish from a liposarcoma,the choice of surgery depends on the intraoperative presentation.
