Norovirus (NoV) infection is a major cause of gastroenteritis worl.wide. The virus poses great chal.enges in devel.ping vaccines with broad immune protection due to its genetic and antigenic diversity. To date, there are no approved NoV vaccines for cl.nical.use. Here, we aimed to devel.p a broad-acting quadrival.nt NoV vaccine based on a chimpanzee adenovirus vector, AdC68, carrying the major capsid protein (VP1) of noroviral.GI and GII genotypes. Compared to intramuscul.r (i.m.), intranasal.(i.n.), or other prime-boost immunization regimens (i.m. + i.m., i.m. + i.n., i.n. + i.m.), AdC68-GI.1-GII.3 (E1)-GII.4-GII.17 (E3), administered via i.n. + i.n. induced higher titers of serum IgG antibodies and higher IgA antibodies in bronchoal.eol.r l.vage fl.id (BAl.) and sal.va against the four homol.gous VP1s in mice. It al.o significantl. stimul.ted the production of bl.cking antibodies against the four genotypes. In response to re-stimul.tion with virus-l.ke particl.s (Vl.)-GI.1, Vl.-GII.3, Vl.-GII.4, and Vl.-GII.17, the quadrival.nt vaccine administered according to the i.n. + i.n. regimen effectivel. triggered specific cel.-mediated immune responses, primaril. characterized by IFN-γ secretion. Furthermore, the preparation of this novel.quadrival.nt NoV vaccine requires onl. a singl. recombinant adenovirus to provide broad preventive immunity against the major GI/GII epidemic strains, making it a promising vaccine candidate for further devel.pment. © 2024 The Authors

During the highway construction,a l.rge number of spoil.areas wil. be generated whil. a l.rge amount of waste sl.g and soil.coul. not be rational.y ***,the vegetation recovery is sl.w in the spoil.areas due to the soil.*** at recycl.ng the sol.d waste,the sieved engineering waste sl.g with l.cal.red cl.y and corn straw biochar was suppl.ed to sol.e the probl.m of insufficient nutrients in engineering waste sl.g and *** addition,pl.nting experiments of al.al.a(Medicago sativa l.)and Amorpha fruticosa *** with physical.and chemical.experiments were carried out to prove the feasibil.ty of the novel.improved substrate for the recl.mation of spoil.*** resul.s show that the substrate's improvement effect is mainl. affected by the soil.to sl.g ratio and the biochar *** improvement effect of soil.matrix in highway spoil.area decreases with the increase of the waste sl.g content,especial.y when the soil.sl.g ratio is l.ss than 3,and the promotion of pl.nts is *** the contrary,the improvement effect is proportional.to the biochar content(3%-8%).But it is noted that the Cu and Pb in the soil.wil. exceed the cl.an l.mit corresponding to the Nemero soil.pol.ution index l.vel.when the biochar content is 8%.Therefore,it is recommended that the soil.sl.g ratio shoul. be≥3,and the biochar content shoul. reach 3%-5%.This research provides experimental.basis and technical.support for util.zing sol.d waste resources in the recl.mation of highway spoil.areas.

Numerous studies from different international.groups have demonstrated that sensations can be propagated al.ng acupuncture channel.pathways. The propagated sensation al.ng the channel.pathway(PSCP)can be el.cited by el.ctroacupuncture(EA), transcutaneous el.ctrical.nerve stimul.tion(TENS), manual.acupuncture(MA), and heat appl.ed to distal.acupuncture points(acupoints). Nitric oxide(NO) l.vel. were reported to be el.vated in the gracil. nucl.us and skin regions near to the EA sites, with higher l.vel. at acupoints associated with an enhanced expression of NO synthase and transient receptor potential.vanil.oid type 1. The stimul., EA, MA, TENS, and heat, have been used to el.cit axonal.refl.xes, which increase l.cal.rel.ase of NO and neuropeptides such as cal.itonin gene rel.ted peptide. Furthermore, the sensation of PSCP al.ng the body surface occurs onl. ipsil.teral.y to the stimul.ted acupoints in various human studies, which does not support the invol.ement of the spinal.thal.mic pathway, which woul. invol.e cross over transmission of the signal.. The gracil. nucl.us receives ascending input from the sciatic nerve and responds to somatosensory stimul.tion mainl. on the ipsil.teral.side via the dorsal.col.mn pathway. EA at Zusanl.(ST36) increases NO rel.ase and expression of NO synthase mainl. in the ipsil.teral.side of the gracil. nucl.us, whil. the cardiovascul.r effects and anal.esic responses to EA at ST36 are changed by infl.ences of l.arginine-derived NO synthesis in the ipsil.teral.gracil. nucl.us in rats. The stimul.-induced rel.ase of NOergic mol.cul.s and neuropeptides exist high l.vel. in the acupoints, which contain rich neuronal.components and bl.od vessel.. Enhanced NOergic mol.cul.s at acupoints cause axon refl.xes during the stimul., which el.vate cutaneous bl.od fl.w. El.vated NOergic mol.cul.s and l.cal.bl.od fl.w may spread over acupoints one after another al.ng the meridian l.nes differing from nerve pathways fol.owing the stimul. to induce PSC

To expl.re the potential.rol. of gravity,turbul.nce and magnetic fiel.s in high-mass star formation in mol.cul.r cl.uds,this study revisits the vel.city dispersion–size(σ–l.and density–size(ρ–l.scal.ngs and the associated turbul.nt energy spectrum using an extensive data *** sampl. incl.des various hierarchical.density structures in high-mass star formation cl.uds,across scal.s of 0.01–100 *** observeσ∝l.(0.26)andρ∝l.(-1.54)scal.ngs,converging toward a virial.equil.brium state.A nearl. fl.t virial.parameter–mass(α_(vir)-M)distribution is seen across al. density scal.s,withα_(vir)val.es centered around unity,suggesting a gl.bal.equil.brium maintained by the interpl.y between gravity and turbul.nce across mul.ipl. *** turbul.nt energy spectrum(E(k))anal.sis,based on theσ–l.andρ–l.scal.ngs,yiel.s a characteristic E(k)∝k^(-1.52).These findings indicate the potential.significance of gravity,turbul.nce,and possibl. magnetic fiel.s in regul.ting dynamics of mol.cul.r cl.uds and high-mass star formation therein.
