Nano/microcrystalline composite diamond films were deposited on the holes of WC-6%Co drawing dies by a two-step procedure using alternative carbon sources, i.e., methane for the microcrystalline diamond（MCD） layer and acetone for the nanocrystalline diamond（NCD） layer. Moreover, the monolayer methane-MCD and acetone-NCD coated drawing dies were fabricated as comparisons. The adhesion and wear rates of the diamond coated drawing dies were also tested by an inner hole polishing apparatus. Compared with mono-layer diamond coated drawing die, the composite diamond coated one exhibits better comprehensive performance, including higher adhesive strength and better wear resistance than the NCD one, and smoother surface（Ra=65.3 nm） than the MCD one（Ra=95.6 nm） after polishing at the same time. Compared with the NCD coated drawing die, the working lifetime of the composite diamond coated one is increased by nearly 20 times.

In this study,the machining mechanism of abrasive flow machining(AFM)microstructures was analyzed in depth according to the transmission morphology and rheological behaviors of the abrasive *** transmission morphology demonstrated the excellent combination of the polymer melt with abrasive grains at the interface,indicating that the polymer melt,combined with the uniform distribution of the polymer chains,could exert a harmonious axial force on the abrasive *** on the rheological behavior analysis of the abrasive media,for example,the stress relaxation and moduli of storage and loss,a machining mechanism model was established incorporating the effect of microplastic deformation and continuous viscous flow,which was further verified by the grooves along the flow *** addition,the PhanThien-Tanner(PTT)model combined with a wall slipping model was employed to simulate the machining process for the first time *** value of the simulated pressure(1.3 MPa)was similar to the measured pressure(1.45 MPa),as well as the simulated volumetric rate(0.0114 mL/s)to the measured volumetric rate(0.067 mL/s),which further proved the validity of the simulation *** flow duration(21 s)derived from a velocity of 1.2 mm/s further confirmed the residual stretched state of the polymer chains,which favored the elasticity of the abrasive media on the ***,the roughly uniform distribution of the shear rate at the main machining region exhibited the advantages of evenly spread storage and loss moduli,contributing to the even extension of indentation caused by the grains on the target surface,which agreed with the mechanism model and machined surface morphology.

Systematical researches were accomplished on WC-Co with different Co contents(6%,10%and 12%,mass fraction).Based on the XPS and EDX,from orthogonal pretreatment experiments,it is indicated that the acid concentration,the time of the acid pretreatment and the original Co content have significant influences on the Co-removal depth(D).Moreover,the specimen temperature,original Co content and Co-removal depth dependences of the Co evolution in nucleation,heating(in pure H2 atmosphere)and growth experiments were discussed,and mechanisms of Co evolutions were summarized,providing sufficient theoretical bases for the deposition of high-quality diamond films on WC-Co substrates,especially Co-rich WC-Co *** is proven that the Co-rich substrate often presents rapid Co *** high substrate temperature can promote the Co diffusion in the pretreated substrate,while acts as a Co-etching process for the untreated *** is finally found that the appropriate Co-removal depth for the WC-12%Co substrate is 8-9μm.

Objective To observe the effects of fenv＇,derate on calcium homeostasis in rat ovary. Methods Female SpragueDawley rats were orally given fenvalerate at dally doses of 0.00, 1.91, 9.55, and 31.80 mg/kg for four weeks. The ovary ultrastucture was observed by electron microscopy. Serum free calcium concentration was measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The activities of phosphorylase a in rat ovary were evaluated by the chromatometry. The total content of calmodulin in ovary was estimated by ELISA at each stage of estrous cycle. Radioimmunoassay （R/A） was used to evaluate the level of serum progesterone. Results Histopathologically, damages of ovarian corpus luteum cells were observed. An increase in serum fi＇ee calcium concentration was observed in rats treated with 31.80mg/kg fenvalerate. The activities of phosphorylase a enhanced in all treated groups, and fenvalerate increased the total content of calmodulin significantly in estrus period. Serum progesterone levels declined in fenvalerate exposed rats in diestrus. Conclusion Fenvalerate interferes with calcium homeostasis in rat ovary. Also, the inhibitory effects of fenvalerate on serum progesterone levels may be mediated partly through calcium signals.

Objective To investgate the metabolism of terephthalic acid （TPA） in rats and its mechanism. Methods Metabolism was evaluated by incubating sodium terephthalate （NaTPA） with rat normal liver microsomes, or with microsomes pretreated by phenobarbital sodium, or with 3-methycholanthrene, or with diet control following a NADPH-generating system. The determination was performed by high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）, and the mutagenic activation was analyzed by umu tester strain Salmonella typhimurium NM2009. Expression of CYP4B 1 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR. Results The amount of NaTPA （12.5-200 μmol-L^1） detected by HPLC did not decrease in microsomes induced by NADPH-generating system. Incubation of TPA （0.025-0.1 mmol-L^-1） with induced or noninduced liver microsomes in an NM2009 umu response system did not show any mutagenic activation. TPA exposure increased the expression of CYP4B1 mRNA in rat liver, kidney, and bladder. Contusion Lack of metabolism of TPA in liver and negative genotoxic data from NM2009 study are consistent with other previous short-term tests, suggesting that the carcinogenesis in TPA feeding animals is not directly interfered with TPA itself and/or its metabolites.

Sap-sucking insects often transmit plant viruses but also carry insect viruses,which infect insects but not *** impact of such insect viruses on insect host biology and ecology is largely ***,we identified a novel insect-specific virus carried by brown citrus aphid(Aphis citricidus),which we tentatively named Aphis citricidus picornavirus(AcPV).Phylogenetic analysis discovered a monophyletic cluster with AcPV and other unassigned viruses,suggesting that these viruses represent a new family in order *** infection with AcPV triggered aphid antiviral immunity mediated by RNA interference,resulting in asymptomatic ***,we found that AcPV was transmitted horizontally by secretion of the salivary gland into the feeding sites of *** influenced aphid stylet behavior during feeding and increased the time required for intercellular penetration,thus promoting its transmission among aphids with plants as an intermediate *** gene expression results suggested that this mechanism was linked with transcription of salivary protein genes and plant defense hormone ***,our results show that the horizontal transmission of AcPV in brown citrus aphids evolved in a manner similar to that of the circulative transmission of plant viruses by insect vectors,thus providing a new ecological perspective on the activity of insect-specific viruses found in aphids and improving the understanding of insect virus ecology.

As a common hyperglycemic disease,type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM)is a complicated disorder that requires a lifelong insulin supply due to the immunemediated destruction of pancreaticβ*** it is an organ-specific autoimmune disorder,T1DM is often associated with multiple other autoimmune *** most prevalent concomitant autoimmune disorder occurring in T1DM is autoimmune thyroid disease(AITD),which mainly exhibits two extremes of phenotypes:hyperthyroidism[Graves'disease(GD)]and hypothyroidism[Hashimoto's thyroiditis,(HT)].However,the presence of comorbid AITD may negatively affect metabolic management in T1DM patients and thereby may increase the risk for potential diabetes-related ***,routine screening of thyroid function has been recommended when T1DM is ***,first,we summarize current knowledge regarding the etiology and pathogenesis mechanisms of both ***,an updated review of the association between T1DM and AITD is ***,we provide a relatively detailed review focusing on the application of thyroid ultrasonography in diagnosing and managing HT and GD,suggesting its critical role in the timely and accurate diagnosis of AITD in T1DM.
