We investigate a class of ecological models with local-nonlocal diffusions and different free boundaries.This is PartⅠof a two-part series,in which the existence,uniqueness,regularity and estimates of global solution is studied.The spreading-vanishing dichotomy,criteria governing spreading and vanishing,long-time behavior of solution and the estimation of the spreading speed when spreading happens will be studied in the separate PartⅡ.

The availability of more quantitative data on flunitrazepam(FLU)and 7-aminoflunitrazepam(7AF)would aid in obtaining a better understanding of the interpretation of FLU concentrations in human hair.The purpose of this study was to provide concentrations of FLU and 7AF in hair segments of 22 FLU users.Quantitative data regarding hair concentrations of FLU and 7AF from various types of cases were also reviewed to give a comprehensive overview of the comparability of different studies.Three to six 1 cm segments of scalp hair from 22 FLU users were analyzed by a liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS)method.FLU and its metabolite were confirmed in the hair segments from all cases.Concentrations of FLU and 7AF in the segments ranged from 0.01–0.16 ng/mg(median of 0.03)and 0.01–0.34 ng/mg(median of 0.09),respectively.Most cases had FLU and 7AF distributions along the hair segments that were suggestive of repeated drug use.A summary of the published concentrations gives valuable data and can assist forensic investigators in their estimations of drug use history and patterns.

Impact of Multidisciplinary Collaborative Intervention on Isolation Implementation in Prevention and Control of Multi-drug Resistance Infection

Objective Contact precautions,especially the initiation of isolation,are important measures to prevent and control multidrug-resistant organisms(MDROs).However,the implementation in clinical practice remains weak.This study aimed to analyze the impact of multidisciplinary collaborative intervention on isolation implementation in multidrug-resistant infection,and determine the factors that affect the implementation of isolation measures.Methods A multidisciplinary collaborative intervention related to isolation was conducted at a teaching tertiary hospital in central China on November 1,2018.The information of 1338 patients with MDRO infection and colonization at 10 months before and after the intervention was collected.Then,the issuance of isolation orders was retrospectively analyzed.Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed to analyze the factors that affected the isolation implementation.Results The overall issuance rate of isolation orders was 61.21%,which increased from 33.12%to 75.88%(P<0.001)after the implementation of the multidisciplinary collaborative intervention.The intervention(P<0.001,OR=0.166)was a promoting factor for the issuance of isolation orders,in addition to the length of stay(P=0.004,OR=0.991),department(P=0.004),and microorganism(P=0.038).Conclusion The isolation implementation remains far lower than policy standards.Multidisciplinary collaborative interventions can effectively improve the compliance to isolation measures implemented by doctors,thereby promoting the standardized management of MDROs,and providing reference for further improving the quality of hospital infection management.

Objective: To explore the protective effect and possible mechanisms of bloodletting acupuncture at Jing-well points(BAJP) pre-treatment on acute hypobaric hypoxia(AHH)-induced myocardium injury rat. Methods:Seventy-five rats were randomly divided into 5 groups by a random number table: a control group(n=15), a model group(n=15), a BAJP group(n=15), a BAJP+3-methyladenine(3-MA) group(n=15), and a BANA(bloodletting at nonacupoint;tail bleeding, n=15) group. Except for the control group, the AHH rat model was established in the other groups, and the corresponding treatment methods were adopted. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to detect creatine kinase isoenzyme MB(CK-MB) and cardiac troponins I(CTn I) levels in serum and superoxide dismutase(SOD) and malondialdehyde(MDA) levels in myocardial tissue. Hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining was used to observe myocardial injury, and terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase-mediated d UTP-biotin nick end labeling(TUNEL) staining was used to observe cell apoptosis. Transmission electron microscopy detection was used to observe mitochondrial damage and autophagosomes in the myocardium. The mitochondrial membrane potential of the myocardium was analyzed with the fluorescent dye JC-1. Mitochondrial respiratory chain complex(complex Ⅰ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ) activities and ATPase in the myocardium were detected by mitochondrial respiratory chain complex assay kits. Western blot analysis was used to detect the autophagy index and hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)/Bcl-2 and adenovirus E1B 19k Da-interacting protein 3(BNIP3) signaling. Results:BAJP reduced myocardial injury and inhibited myocardial cell apoptosis in AHH rats. BAJP pretreatment decreased MDA levels and increased SOD levels in AHH rats(all P<0.01). Moreover, BAJP pretreatment increased the mitochondrial membrane potential(P<0.01), mitochondrial respiratory chain complex(complexes Ⅰ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ)activities(P<0.01), and mitochondrial ATPase activity in AHH rats(P<0.05). This study evaluated the feasibility of using polypropylene fiber (PF) as reinforcement in improving tensile strength behavior of cement-stabilized dredged sediment (CDS). The effects of cement content, water content, PF content and length on the tensile strength and stress-strain behavioral evolutions were evaluated by conducting splitting tensile strength tests. Furthermore, the micro-mechanisms characterizing the tensile strength behavior inside PF-reinforced CDS (CPFDS) were clarified via analyzing macro failure and microstructure images. The results indicate that the highest tensile strengths of 7, 28, 60, and 90 d CPFDS were reached at PF contents of 0.6%, 1.0%, 1.0%, and 1.0%, exhibiting values 5.96%, 65.16%, 34.10%, and 35.83% higher than those of CDS, respectively. Short, 3 mm, PF of showed the best reinforcement efficiency. The CPFDS exhibited obvious tensile strain-hardening characteristic, and also had better ductility than CDS. The mix factor (CCa/Cwb) and time parameter (qt0(t)) of CDS, and the reinforcement index (kt-PF) of CPFDS were used to establish the tensile strength prediction models of CDS and CPFDS, considering multiple factors. The PF "bridge effect" and associated cementation-reinforcement coupling actions inside CPFDS were mainly responsible for tensile strength behavior improvement. The key findings contribute to the use of CPFDS as recycled engineering soils.

High-/medium-entropy alloys(H/MEAs)of face-centered-cubic-structured single phase usually suffer from a glaring drawback of low yield strength.Even worse,the trade-off emerges frustratingly between strength and ductility as strength increases.Here,the lamellar heterostructure(HS)is designed in an equiatomic ternary CoNiFe ME A by means of cold rolling followed by an incomplete recrystallization annealing.The lamellar HS consists of the soft recrystallized grains as well as severely deformed structures which are partly reserved.By comparison to the coarse-grained counterpart,the lamellar HS,shows a well enhanced yield strength-ductility synergy,together with an increased yield strength.This is ascribed to the hetero-deformation-induced(HDI)stress in HS during tensile deformation.Accordingly,the HDI strain hardening is induced,serving as an important addition to the conventional forest hardening.The HDI hardening is evidenced experimentally to account for a large proportion of global strain hardening.Furthermore,a fully recrystallized microstructure is obtained to show a simultaneous increase in both yield strength and ductility.The microstructures are evaluated in detail prior to and after tensile deformation by using the electron backscattered diffraction and transmission electron microscope observations.The mechanism for HDI strain hardening in various microstructures is analyzed to correlate to the evolution of microstructures in terms of the kernel average misorientation values,Schmid factor,and dislocation behaviors in response to plastic deformation.

The interrelationships and synergistic regulations of bioactive molecules play pivotal roles in physiological and pathological processes involved in the initiation and development of some diseases,such as cancer and neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases.Therefore,the simultaneous,accurate and timely detection of two bioactive molecules is crucial to explore their roles and pathological mechanisms in related diseases.Fluorescence imaging associated with small molecular probes has been widely used in the imaging of bioactive molecules in living cells and in vivo due to its excellent performances,including high sensitivity and selectivity,noninvasive properties,real-time and high spatial temporal resolution.Single organic molecule fluorescent probes have been successively developed to simultaneously monitor two biomolecules to uncover their synergistic relationships in living systems.Hence,in this review,we focus on summarizing the design strategies,classifications,and bioimaging applications of dual-response fluorescent probes over the past decade.Furthermore,future research directions in this field are proposed.

Grid Strength Assessment for Inhomogeneous Multi-infeed HVDC Systems via Generalized Short Circuit Ratio

Generalized short circuit ratio(g SCR)for grid strength assessment of multi-infeed high-voltage direct current(MIDC)systems is a rigorous theoretical extension of the traditional SCR,which enables SCR to be extended to MIDC systems.However,g SCR is originally based on the assumption of homogeneous MIDC systems,in which all high-voltage direct current(HVDC)converters have an identical control configuration,thus presenting challenges to applications of g SCR to inhomogeneous MIDC systems.To weaken this assumption,this paper applies matrix perturbation theory to explore the possibility of utilization of g SCR into inhomogeneous MIDC systems.Results of numerical experiments show that in inhomogeneous MIDC systems,the previously proposed g SCR can still be used without modification.However,critical g SCR(Cg SCR)must be redefined by considering the characteristics of control configurations of HVDC converter.Accordingly,the difference between g SCR and redefined Cg SCR can effectively quantify the pertinent AC grid strength in terms of the static-voltage stability margin.The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated in a triple-infeed inhomogeneous line commutated converter based high-voltage direct current(LCC-HVDC)system.

A study on predicting crisis information dissemination in epidemic-level public health events

Crisis information dissemination plays a key role in the development of emergency responses to epidemic-level public health events.Therefore,clarifying the causes of crisis information dissemination and making accurate predictions to effectively control such situations have attracted extensive attention.Based on media richness theory and persuasion theory,this study constructs an index system of crisis information dissemination impact factors from two aspects:the crisis information publisher and the published crisis information content.A multi-layer perceptron is used to analyze the weight of the index system,and the prediction is transformed into a pattern classification problem to test crisis information dissemination.In this study,COVID-19 is considered a representative event.An experiment is conducted to predict the crisis information dissemination of COVID-19 in two megacities.Data related to COVID-19 from these two megacities are acquired from the well-known Chinese social media platform Weibo.The experimental results show that not only the identity but also the social influence of the information publisher has a significant impact on crisis information dissemination in epidemic-level public health events.Furthermore,the proposed model achieves more than 95%test accuracy,precision rate,recall value and f1-score in the prediction task.The study provides decision-making support for government departments and a guide for correctly disseminating crisis information and public opinion during future epidemic-level public health events.
