A rice cyclase gene,OsCYL4b,identified as an alternative splice variant of the cyclase gene OsCYL4a,is involved in the regulation of drought stress and oxidative *** with OsCYL4a,OsCYL4b lacks the second exon,which is located in the conserved motif 3,and may be a functionally important *** results suggested that OsCYL4b was responsive to multiple abiotic stresses,and was localized to both the cytoplasm and plasma *** overexpression of OsCYL4b resulted in significantly enhanced drought and osmotic stress tolerance,reduced water loss,and increased abscisic acid(ABA)content compared with the wild type(WT).

We have applied strong coupling unitary transformation method combined with Bose–Einstein statistical law to investigate magnetopolaron energy level temperature effects in halogen ion crystal quantum *** obtained results showed that under magnetic field effect,magnetopolaron quasiparticle was formed through the interaction of electrons and surrounding *** the same time,magnetopolaron was influenced by phonon temperature statistical law and important energy level shifts down and binding energy *** revealed that lattice temperature and magnetic field could easily affect magnetopolaron and the above results could play key roles in exploring thermoelectric conversion and conductivity of crystal materials.

Soil salinity is a worldwide problem threatening crop *** plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)could survive in high salt environment and assist plant adaptation to ***,the genomic and metabolic features,as well as the regulatory mechanisms promoting salt tolerance in plants by these bacteria remain largely *** the current work,a novel halotolerant PGPR strain,namely,Bacillus *** RA can enhance tomato tolerance to salt *** genomic analysis of strain RA with its closely related species indicated a high level of evolutionary plasticity exhibited by strain-specific genes and evolutionary constraints driven by purifying selection,which facilitated its genomic adaptation to salt-affected *** transcriptome further showed that strain RA could tolerate salt stress by balancing energy metabolism via the reprogramming of biosynthetic *** exude a plethora of metabolites that can strongly influence plant *** accumulation of myo-inositol in leaves under salt stress was observed,leading to the promotion of plant growth triggered by Bacillus *** ***,myo-inositol serves as a selective force in the assembly of the phyllosphere microbiome and the recruitment of plant-beneficial *** promotes destabilizing properties in phyllosphere bacterial co-occurrence networks,but not in fungal ***,interdomain interactions between bacteria and fungi were strengthened by myo-inositol in response to salt *** work highlights the genetic adaptation of RA to salt-affected soils and its ability to impact phyllosphere microorganisms through the adjustment of myo-inositol metabolites,thereby imparting enduring resistance against salt stress in tomato.

In this study,a common-node DEM-SPH coupling model based on the shared node method is proposed,and a fluid–structure coupling method using the common-node discrete element method-smoothed particle hydrodynamics(DS-SPH)method is developed using LS-DYNA *** DEM and SPH are established on the same node to create common-node DEM-SPH particles,allowing for fluid–structure *** simulations of various scenarios,including water entry of a rigid sphere,dam-break propagation over wet beds,impact on an ice plate floating on water and ice accumulation on offshore structures,are *** interaction between DS particles and SPH fluid and the crack generation mechanism and expansion characteristics of the ice plate under the interaction of structure and fluid are also *** results are compared with available data to verify the proposed coupling ***,the simulation results demonstrated that controlling the cutoff pressure of internal SPH particles could effectively control particle splashing during ice crushing failure.

The large volumetric variations experienced by metal selenides within conversion reaction result in inferior rate capability and cycling stability,ultimately hindering the achievement of superior electrochemical ***,metallic Cu_(2.Se encapsulated with N-doped carbon(Cu_(2.Se@NC)was prepared using Cu_(2.O nanocubes as templates through a combination of dopamine polymerization and hightemperature *** unique nanocubic structure and uniform N-doped carbon coating could shorten the ion transport distance,accelerate electron/charge diffusion,and suppress volume variation,ultimately ensuring Cu_(2.Se@NC with excellent electrochemical performance in sodium ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium ion batteries(PIBs).The composite exhibited excellent rate performance(187.7 mA h g^(-1)at 50 A g^(-1)in SIBs and 179.4 mA h g^(-1)at 5 A g^(-1)in PIBs)and cyclic stability(2.6,8 mA h g^(-1)at 10 A g^(-1)in SIBs over 2.00 cycles).The reaction mechanism of intercalation combined with conversion in both SIBs and PIBs was disclosed by in situ X-ray diffraction(XRD)and ex situ transmission electron microscope(TEM).In particular,the final products in PIBs of K_(2.Se and K_(2.Se_(3)species were determined after discharging,which is different from that in SIBs with the final species of Na_(2.*** density functional theory calculation showed that carbon induces strong coupling and charge interactions with Cu_(2.Se,leading to the introduction of built-in electric field on heterojunction to improve electron ***,the theoretical calculations discovered that the underlying cause for the relatively superior rate capability in SIBs to that in PIBs is the agile Na~+diffusion with low energy barrier and moderate adsorption *** findings offer theoretical support for in-depth understanding of the performance differences of Cu-based materials in different ion storage systems.

Direct CO_(2. hydrogenation offers an important strategy for promoting the global carbon balance,but high thermodynamic and kinetic stability of CO_(2. has restricted its applicability to only a handful of industrial ***,we introduce a proof-of-concept application of the electron-rich Pt surface to promote hydrogen donation for electron-rich MoC particles acting as hydrogen acceptors,thereby constructing hydrogen-rich surface of MoC active ***,the formed hydrogen-rich and electronrich surface could greatly decrease reaction activation energy to boost the efficient CO_(2. hydrogenation into formic acid over the MoC *** optimized MoC@NC/Pt-0.1(NC:nitrogen-doped carbon)catalyst exhibits a high turnover frequency(TOF)value of 1.2.h^(−1) at a lower temperature of 60℃and a TOF of 2..2.h^(−1) under standard reaction conditions widely used in the literature,exceeding 7 times of MoC@NC catalyst and surpassing the benchmark classical non-noble metal active center-based heterogeneous catalyst.

Recently,many efforts have been dedicated to construct artificial catalysts with enzyme-like ***,it is still a big challenge to endow artificial catalysts with specific substrate *** this study,we developed a facile strategy to construct a MIL-53(Fe)-based nanocatalyst with designable selectivity in the degradation of oxytetracycline(OTC).Through the Fe–O–P conjunction,oxytetracycline aptamer(OA)can be easily anchored on MIL-53(Fe)to provide the specific site for OTC *** verified that the obtained MIL-53(Fe)-Apt nanocatalyst displayed enhanced catalytic ability in the degradation of OTC,whereas obvious suppression toward other substrate *** performance therefore brings about an anticipated selectivity toward ***,we highlighted that the configuration of aptamers on MIL-53(Fe)can be modulated through varying conjunction ***–function analysis revealed that aptamer configuration affects the local concentration of substrate around catalytic site,which thus decides the catalytic performance toward *** work presented a facile and promising strategy for developing artificial catalysts with designable selectivity.

The autotetraploid Carassius auratus(4nRR,4n=2.0,RRRR)is derived from whole-genome duplication of Carassius auratus red var.(RCC,2.=100,RR).In the current study,we demonstrated that chromatophores and pigment changes directly caused the coloration and variation of 4nRR skin(red in RCC,brownish-yellow in4nRR).To further explore the molecular mechanisms underlying coloration formation and variation in 4nRR,we performed transcriptome profiling and molecular functional verification in RCC and *** revealed that scarb1,associated with carotenoid metabolism,underwent significant down-regulation in *** editing of this candidate pigment gene provided clear evidence of its significant role in RCC ***,we identified four divergent scarb1 homeologs in 4nRR:two original scarb1 homeologs from RCC and two duplicated ***,three of these homeologs possessed two highly conserved alleles,exhibiting biased and allelespecific expression in the ***,after precise editing of both the original and duplicated scarb1homeologs and/or alleles,4nRR individuals,whether singly or multiply mutated,displayed a transition from brownishyellow skin to a cyan-gray ***,the proportional areas of the cyan-gray regions displayed a gene-dose *** findings illustrate the subfunctionalization of duplicated scarb1,with all scarb1genes synergistically and equally contributing to the pigmentation of *** is the first report concerning the functional differentiation of duplicated homeologs in an autopolyploidfish,substantiallyenrichingour understanding of coloration formation and change within this group of organisms.
