Well-defined poly(N-allyl alanine)has been synthesized by heterogenous ring-opening polymerization(HROP)of less reactive N-allyl-alanine N-carboxyanhydride,using acetic acid as the catalyst and benzylamine as the initiator,in non-polar ***,the polymerization exhibited typical features of living polymerization though both monomer(liquid)and polymer(solid)have minimal solubility in *** obtained polymer showed a stable helix structure independent of the temperatures screened,as evidenced by circular dichroism ***,the preliminary study demonstrated that the side chains can be post-functionalized through thiol-ene click chemistry with quantitative ***,this work provides guidance for the development of accelerated HROP of other liquid monomers bearing low ***,the helical and functionalizable poly(N-allyl alanine)could be a useful“clickable platform”for the design of variable biomaterials via efficient click chemistry.

The backreaming operation plays a significant role in safe drilling for horizontal wellbores, while it may cause severe stuck pipe accidents. To lower the risk of the stuck pipe in backreaming operations, the mechanism of cuttings transport needs to be carefully investigated. In this research, a transient cuttings transport with multiple flow patterns model is developed to predict the evolution of cuttings transported in the annulus while backreaming. The established model can provide predictions of the distribution of cuttings bed along the wellbore considering the bulldozer effect caused by large-size drilling tools(LSDTs). The sensitivity analyses of the size of LSDTs, and backreaming operating parameters are conducted in Section 4. And a new theory is proposed to explain the mechanism of cuttings transport in the backreaming operation, in which both the bit and LSDTs have the “cleaning effect” and “plugging effect”.The results demonstrate that the cuttings bed in annuli is in a state of dynamic equilibrium, but the overall trend and the distribution pattern are obvious. First, larger diameters and longer drilling tools could lead to a higher risk of the stuck pipe. Second, we find that it is not the case that the higher flow rate is always better for hole cleaning, so three flow-rate intervals are discussed separately under the given conditions. When the “dangerous flow rate”(gs bed completely blocks the borehole near the step surface and causes a stuck pipe directly. If the flow rate increases to the “low flow rate” interval(33-35 L/s in Case 4), a smaller flow rate instead facilitates borehole cleaning. If the flow rate is large enough to be in the “high flow rate” interval(>35 L/s in Case 4),the higher the flow rate, the better the cleaning effect of cuttings beds. Room-temperature superconductivity has been a long-held dream of mankind and a focus of considerable interest in the research field of superconductivity. Significant progress has recently been achieved in hydrogen-based superconductors found in superhydrides（hydrides with unexpectedly high hydrogen contents） that are stabilized under high-pressure conditions and are not capturable at ambient *** particular interest is the discovery of a class of best-ever-known superconductors in clathrate metal superhydrides that hold the record for high superconductivity(e.g. Tc= 250–260 K for LaH10) among known superconductors and have great promise to be those that realize the long-sought room-temperature superconductivity. In these peculiar clathrate superhydrides, hydrogen forms unusual ‘clathrate’ cages containing encaged metal atoms, of which such a kind was first reported in a calcium hexa-superhydride（CaH6） showing a measured high Tcof 215 K under a pressure of 170 gPa. In this review, we aim to offer an overview of the current status of research progress on the clathrate metal superhydride superconductors,discuss the superconducting mechanism and highlight the key features（e.g. structure motifs, bonding features, electronic structure, etc.） that govern the high-temperature superconductivity. Future research direction along this line to find room-temperature superconductors will be discussed.

Mobile telemedicine systems based on the next-generation communication will significantly enhance deep fusion of network automation and federated learning(FL), but data privacy is a paramount issue in sectors like healthcare. This work hence considers FL augments 5g-and-beyond networks by training deep learning(DL) models without the need to exchange raw data. The substantial communication loads imposed on by extensive parameters involved in DL models are managed through adaptive scheduling mechanisms effectively. To address the opaque nature of DL models and to improve the interpretability of FL models, we introduce a convolutional fuzzy rough neural network specifically designed for medical image processing. We also develop a multiobjective memetic evolutionary algorithm to streamline and optimize the neural network architectures. Our comprehensive FL framework integrates smart scheduling, interpretable fuzzy rough logic,and neuroevolution. This framework is shown to improve communication efficiency, increase interpretability of diagnosis with protected privacy, and generate low-complexity neural architectures.

Intelligent fault diagnosis is an important method in rotating machinery fault diagnosis and equipment health *** deal with co-frequency vibration faults,a type of typical fault in rotating machinery,this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method based on the stacked autoencoder(SAE)and ensembled ***,the time-and frequency-domain features of several co-frequency vibration faults are summarized based on the mechanism analysis and calculated using actual vibration *** realize and validate the high-precision diagnosis method of rotating equipment with co-frequency faults proposed in this study,the following three criteria are required:First,to improve the effectiveness and robustness of the ensembled model and the sliding window using data augmentation,adding noise,autoencoder(AE)and SAE methods are analyzed in terms of principle and practical ***,ResNet is used as the feature extractor for the ensembled ResNet-SVM *** extraction is carried out twice,and the extracted co-frequency fault features are more ***,the data augmentation method and ensemble ResNet-SVM are combined for fault diagnosis and compared with other *** experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed method can exceed 99.9%.

In unit cell simulations,identification of ordered phases in block copolymers(BCPs)is a tedious and time-consuming task,impeding the advancement of more streamlined and potentially automated research *** this study,we propose a scattering-based automated identification strategy(SAIS)for characterization and identification of ordered phases of BCPs based on their computed scattering *** approach leverages the scattering theory of perfect crystals to efficiently compute the scattering patterns of periodic morphologies in a unit *** the first stage of the SAIS,phases are identified by comparing reflection conditions at a sequence of Miller *** confirm or refine the identification results of the first stage,the second stage of the SAIS introduces a tailored residual between the test phase and each of the known candidate ***,our strategy incorporates a variance-like criterion to distinguish background species,enabling its extension to multi-species BCP *** has been demonstrated that our strategy achieves exceptional accuracy and robustness while requiring minimal computational ***,the approach allows for real-time expansion and improvement to the candidate phase library,facilitating the development of automated research workflows for designing specific ordered structures and discovering new ordered phases in BCPs.

Intestinal microbiota imbalance may worsen the progression of ulcerative colitis(UC).Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus LS8(LR)has the potential ability to regulate microbiota through producing a novel antibacterial substance,cyclic opine:*** study aimed to investigate whether LR could ameliorate dextran sulfate sodium-induced UC in mice via modulating intestinal microbiota using fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)*** results showed that both LR and FMT attenuated UC as evidenced by 1)alleviating disease activity index and colonic pathology;2)up-regulating MUCs and tight junction proteins;3)increasing oxidative mediators and decreasing antioxidant mediators;4)down-regulating proinflammatory cytokines and *** results were mainly attributable to the microbiota-regulating effect of LR,including increasing beneficial bacteria(like Akkermansia)and its related SCFAs,while decreasing harmful bacteria(like Proteobacteria)and its related LPS,thereby suppressing the hyperactivation of TLR4/NF-κB ***,LR can alleviate UC and is a potential dietary supplement to attenuate UC.

This paper is concerned with the optimal threshold selection and resource allocation problems of quantized identification, whose aims are improving identification efficiency under limited resources. Firstly, the first-order asymptotically optimal quantized identification theory is extended to the weak persistent excitation condition. Secondly, the characteristics of time and space complexities are established based on the Cramér-Rao lower bound of quantized systems. On these basis, the optimal selection methods of fixed thresholds and adaptive thresholds are established under aperiodic signals, which answer how to achieve the best efficiency of quantized identification under the same time and space complexity. In addition, based on the principle of maximizing the identification efficiency under a given resource, the optimal resource allocation methods of quantized identification are given for the cases of fixed thresholds and adaptive thresholds, respectively, which show how to balance time and space complexity to realize the best identification efficiency of quantized identification.

Cholestatic liver disease is a group of diseases in which bile acid accumulates in the liver for various reasons,resulting in abnormal liver biochemical indicators and histological *** can be divided into intrahepatic cholestasis and extrahepatic cholestasis,which will contribute to liver damage and progress to liver fibrosis and *** biliary cholangitis(PBC)and primary sclerosing cholangitis are the two most typical cholestatic liver *** acid is currently the first-line treatment for PBC,while obeticholic acid,budesonide and fibrates have also shown good potential in the treatment of *** are currently no official drugs approved to treat primary sclerosing cholangitis,and the use of ursodeoxycholic acid may have certain clinical *** present,progress has been made in new treatment directions for cholestatic liver disease,including fibroblast growth factor 19,cholestyramine,S-adenosyl-L-methionine,steroid drugs,farnesoid X receptor agonists,and *** progress has been made in the management of cholestatic liver disease but there are still many opportunities and *** this review,we summarized the recommended guidelines for the management of cholestatic disease and the progress of new drug research and development,in order to provide an important reference for the clinical practice of cholestatic liver disease.
