Rock physical characteristics of deep dolomite under complex geological conditions:A case study of 4th Member of Sinian Dengying Formation in the Sichuan Basin,China

The deep-ultra deep carbonate reservoir in China,commonly subjected to modification of multi-stage diagenesis,has extremely high *** rock physics analysis cannot accurately identify the elastic responses of ***,the rock physics properties of the dolomite from the 4th Member of the Sinian Dengying Formation are experimentally measured,and the change law of rock physics characteristics is investigated within the framework of the diagenetic processes by the analysis of the elastic and petrologic characteristics,pore structure,and sedimentary *** results show that the differentiated diagenesis results in different pore structure characteristics and microtexture characteristics of the *** microbial dolomite of the algal mound-grain beach facies is subjected to the contemporaneous microbial dolomitization and seepage-reflux dolomitization,penecontemporaneous selective dissolution,burial dolomitization,and hydrothermal *** resultant crystalline dolomite is found with one main type of the dolomite crystal contact boundaries,and the dissolution pore is extensive *** siliceous,muddy,and limy dolomite of the interbeach sea environment mainly experiences the weak capillary concentration dolomitization,intensive mechanical compaction-induced densification,and burial *** crystalline dolomite is observed with four types of contact boundaries,namely the dolomite contact,clay contact,quartz contact,and calcite contact boundaries,and porosity mostly attributed to residual primary inter-granular or crystalline *** samples with the same crystal boundary condition have consistent correlations between the compressional-and shear-wave velocities,and between the compressional-wave velocity and the velocity ***,the variation of the acoustic velocity with effective pressure and the intensity of pore-scale fluid-related dispersion are controlled by the differentiation of pore st

Menstrual and Reproductive Characteristics of Patients with Primary Sjogren’s Syndrome:A 7-year Single-center Retrospective Study

Objective Primary Sjogren’s syndrome(pSS)is a systemic autoimmune disease that mainly affects the exocrine gland,especially in ***,the results of studies on the menstruation or fertility of pSS patients remain *** study aimed to examine the menstrual and reproductive characteristics of pSS *** Clinical data of 449 pSS patients who were admitted to Tongji Hospital in Hubei,China,from January 2015 to November 2021 were obtained and their menstrual and reproductive information *** addition,the clinical features of pSS patients with premenopausal or postmenopausal onset were *** The spontaneous abortion rate of pSS patients was not higher than the reported rate of the general population and that the age of menarche,menstrual cycle,and menstrual period of pSS patients did not significantly differ from those reported in the general population;however,early menopause seemed to be more common in pSS *** involvement(27.96%vs.15.00%,P=0.005)and hyperglobulinemia(10.64%vs.4.16%,P=0.033)were more common in patients with premenopausal pSS onset,but patients with postmenopausal onset had a significantly greater incidence of interstitial lung disease(32.50%vs.17.02%,P=0.0004).Also,erythropenia(47.00%vs.31.25%,P=0.002),hypoalbuminemia(19.49%vs.8.22%,P=0.0009),and prevalence of high hypersensitive C-reactive protein levels(21.67%vs.10.94%,P=0.005)were more common in pSS patients with postmenopausal ***,the rate of abnormal pregnancy was significantly greater in patients with premenopausal onset(9.72%vs.2.50%,P=0.011).Conclusion Patients with pSS onset before or after menopause may have different risks in pulmonary involvement and laboratory manifestations.

Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists(GLP-1RAs)and dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors are commonly used treatments for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Both anti-diabetic treatments function by playing key modulatory roles in the incretin *** these drugs have been deemed effective in treating T2DM,the Food and Drug Administration(FDA)and some members of the scientific community have questioned the safety of these therapeutics relative to important cardiovascular *** a result,since 2008,the FDA has required all new drugs for glycemic control in T2DM patients to demonstrate cardiovascular *** present review article strives to assess the safety and benefits of incretin-based therapy,a new class of antidiabetic drug,on the health of patient cardiovascular *** the process,this review will also provide a physiological overview of the incretin system and how key components function in T2DM.

Inflammation and apoptosis accelerate progression to irreversible atrophy in denervated intrinsic muscles of the hand compared with biceps: proteomic analysis of a rat model of obstetric brachial plexus palsy

In treating patients with obstetric brachial plexus palsy,we noticed that denervated intrinsic muscles of the hand become irreversibly atrophic at a faster than denervated *** a rat model of obstetric brachial plexus palsy,denervated intrinsic musculature of the forepaw entered the irreversible atrophy far earlier than denervated *** this study,isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation were examined in the intrinsic musculature of forepaw and biceps on denervated and normal sides at 3 and 5 weeks to identify dysregulated *** of pathways mapped by those proteins was analyzed by Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes *** 3 weeks,119 dysregulated proteins in denervated intrinsic musculature of the forepaw were mapped to nine pathways for muscle regulation,while 67 dysregulated proteins were mapped to three such pathways at 5 *** 3 weeks,27 upregulated proteins were mapped to five pathways involving inflammation and apoptosis,while two upregulated proteins were mapped to one such pathway at 5 *** 3 and 5 weeks,53 proteins from pathways involving regrowth and differentiation were *** 3 weeks,64 dysregulated proteins in denervated biceps were mapped to five pathways involving muscle regulation,while,five dysregulated proteins were mapped to three such pathways at 5 *** protein mapped to inflammation and apoptotic pathways was upregulated from one pathway at 3 weeks,while three proteins were downregulated from two other pathways at 5 *** proteins mapped to regrowth and differentiation pathways were upregulated from three pathways at 3 weeks,while two proteins were downregulated in another pathway at 5 *** results implicated inflammation and apoptosis as critical factors aggravating atrophy of denervated intrinsic muscles of the hand during obstetric brachial plexus *** experimental procedures and protocols were approved by the Experimental Animal Ethics Committee of Fudan Univ

Resistivity-Temperature Behavior of CB-Filled HDPE Foaming Composites

High-density polyethylene/carbon black foaming conductive composites were prepared from acetylene black（ACEY） and super conductive carbon black（HG-1P） as conductive filler, low-density polyethylene（LDPE） as the second component, ethylene-vinyl acetate（EVA） and ethylene propylene rubber（EPR） as the third component, azobisformamide（AC） as foamer, and dicumyl peroxide（DCP） as cross-linker. The structure and resistivity-temperature behavior of high-density polyethylene（HDPE）/CB foaming conductive composites were investigated. Influences of carbon black, LDPE, EVA, EPR, AC, and DCP on the foaming performance and resistivity-temperature behavior of HDPE/CB foaming conductive composites were also studied. The results reveal that HDPE/CB foaming conductive composite exhibits better switching characteristic; ACET-filled HDPE foaming conductive composite displays better positive temperature coefficient（PYC） effect; whereas super conductive carbon black（HG-1P）-filled HDPE foaming conductive composite shows better negative temperature coefficient（NTC） effect.

Rotating magnetic field inhibits Aβ protein aggregation and alleviates cognitive impairment in Alzheimer’s disease mice

Amyloid beta(Aβ)monomers aggregate to form fibrils and amyloid plaques,which are critical mechanisms in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Given the important role of Aβ1-42 aggregation in plaque formation,leading to brain lesions and cognitive impairment,numerous studies have aimed to reduce Aβaggregation and slow AD *** diphenylalanine(FF)sequence is critical for amyloid aggregation,and magnetic fields can affect peptide alignment due to the diamagnetic anisotropy of aromatic *** this study,we examined the effects of a moderate-intensity rotating magnetic field(RMF)on Aβaggregation and AD *** indicated that the RMF directly inhibited Aβamyloid fibril formation and reduced Aβ-induced cytotoxicity in neural cells in *** the AD mouse model APP/PS1,RMF restored motor abilities to healthy control levels and significantly alleviated cognitive impairments,including exploration and spatial and non-spatial memory *** examinations demonstrated that RMF reduced amyloid plaque accumulation,attenuated microglial activation,and reduced oxidative stress in the APP/PS1 mouse *** findings suggest that RMF holds considerable potential as a non-invasive,high-penetration physical approach for AD treatment.

Unsteady state precipitation of M_(23)C_(6)carbides during thermal cycling in reduced activation steel manufactured by laser melting deposition

The temperature field distribution and thermal history of Fe-9Cr2WVTa reduced activation steel prepared by laser melting deposition(LMD)have been calculated with Gaussian and Ring laser beams,and the nucleation and growth behaviors of M_(23)C_(6)precipitates in the 1st,7th and 19th layers have been calculated using the modified classical nucleation theory and Svoboda Fischer Fratzl Kozeschnik *** energy distribution shows W-shape with Ring laser beam while it shows V-shape with Gaussian laser beam,which results in the more uniform M_(23)C_(6)size in the same layer with Ring laser *** in the bottom(i.e.,the 1st layer)have the minimum size and the size increases with the layer number with Gaussian and Ring laser *** temperature history,the instantaneous nucleation rate and the size evolution of M_(23)C_(6)have been systematically *** results indicate that the nucleation,growth and re-dissolution of precipitates in reduced activation steel depend on the amount of energy absorbed in the thermal cycle during *** continuous accumulation of energy during the thermal cycle leads to larger M_(23)C_(6)at the top *** unsteady state precipitation dynamics of M_(23)C_(6)carbides during thermal cycling are consistent with the simulation results.

The interaction of Gallocyanine(Gal) with DNA was studied by using UV spectra and circular dichroism(CD) spectrum methods. Gal and DNA strongly interacted on each other in acid solutions. The intrinsic binding constant( K ) and the binding numbers( C DNA / C Gal ) of Gal and DNA are 2\^25×10 4 mol -1 and 2\^5, respectively. The influence of pH on the interaction of Gal and DNA was also studied.

Crystal Structure of a Novel Supramolecule Made Up of Bis(μ_2-aqua)aqua(3-carboxy acrylate) monosodium(Ⅰ)

The title compound, bis( μ 2 aqua)(aqua)(3 carboxy acrylate) monosodium(Ⅰ), was synthesized in an ethanol water solution and its crystal structure was determined by means of X ray diffraction. The crystal is triclinic , space group P 1 with the cell parameters a =0 592 4(2) nm, b =0 635 7(3) nm, c =1 117 7(6) nm, α =104 18°, β =91 53°, γ =100 19°, V =0 400 6(3) nm 3, Z =2, the final R value is 0 033 5. The supramolecule is made up of coordination chains, which are further extended into a three dimensional network via the hydrogen bonding interactions.
