Research on the Effect of Dance Therapy on Improving Social Communication Ability of Children with Autism

Research motivation:Through the 12 weeks dance therapy intervention for children with autism,the purpose is to explore the intervention model of dance therapy for children with autism and the changes in motor ability,social ability,and communication ability of children with autism after dance therapy intervention.The results of the research are expected to expand the intervention mode of dance therapy in my country and provide practical reference for rehabilitation intervention of children with autism.Research methods:24 autistic boys aged 6 to 12 with mild to moderate symptoms were recruited and screened through the Internet as the subjects of this study.We randomly divided them into experimental group(N=12)and control group(N=12).All children with autism have an autism diagnosis certificate issued by Children’s Hospital or a tertiary hospital,excluding other mental diseases(such as epilepsy,major physical disability,mental illness,no history of drugs and other interventions,etc.).We used the paired sample t-test to compare the score difference between the dance treatment group and the control group before and after the two groups,and used the observation method to record the basic communication behavior and the number of active communication behaviors in the experimental group during the intervention process.All data analysis is used in SPSS 20.0.Research results:After 12 weeks of dance therapy intervention,there were statistically significant differences in the gross movement,balance,and coordination abilities of the children in the experimental group compared with those before the intervention(p0.05).After 12 weeks of dance therapy intervention,there were statistically significant differences in the scores of the social response scale for children with autism in the experimental group(p<0.05).There was no significant change in the scores of each item of the SRS scale before and after intervention in the control group and th

Research on the longitudinal protection of a through-type cophase traction direct power supply system based on the empirical wavelet transform

This paper proposes a longitudinal protection scheme utilizing empirical wavelet transform(EWT)for a through-type cophase traction direct power supply system,where both sides of a traction network line exhibit a distinctive boundary structure.This approach capitalizes on the boundary’s capacity to attenuate the high-frequency component of fault signals,resulting in a variation in the high-frequency transient energy ratio when faults occur inside or outside the line.During internal line faults,the high-frequency transient energy at the checkpoints located at both ends surpasses that of its neighboring lines.Conversely,for faults external to the line,the energy is lower compared to adjacent lines.EWT is employed to decompose the collected fault current signals,allowing access to the high-frequency transient energy.The longitudinal protection for the traction network line is established based on disparities between both ends of the traction network line and the high-frequency transient energy on either side of the boundary.Moreover,simulation verification through experimental results demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed protection scheme across various initial fault angles,distances to faults,and fault transition resistances.

Adsorption of rare earth elements on organic matter in coal

The occurrence modes of rare earth elements(lanthanide and yttrium,abbreviated as REY) in coal are impo rtant both for coal geochemistry studies and the application potential of REY as a by-product of coalbased resources.In this study,the adsorption behaviors of REY on organic matter in coal were investigated by leaching tests using REY solution and ultra-low ash coal samples.On this basis,the adsorption mechanism of REY on organic matter in coal was also studied by molecular simulation calculations.The leaching tests show that the organic matter in coal has a relatively strong adsorption capacity for REY,and that the average adsorption rate or the net adsorption amount of heavy rare earth elements(HREY:Gd,Tb,Y,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb and Lu) is always higher than that of the light rare earth elements(LREY:La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm and Eu).A molecular model of humic acid(HA) was constructed and the adsorption amount between REY and HA was calculated.The results show that the theoretical adsorption rate of HREY(84.88%) is higher than that of the LREY(84.00%).The analysis of the adsorption distances between REY atoms and various functional groups on HA molecules shows that the minimum adsorption distance of LREY is 0.372 nm on average,which is larger than that of HREY(0.368 nm),indicating that the adsorption capacity of the latter is stronger.In addition,a coal molecule(C_(18)H_(22)O) was also constructed to investigate the adsorption characteristics of various REY atoms on the molecule.As a result,it is found that the average binding ene rgy and bond length between the hydroxyl functional group and LREY atoms are 0.12469 Ha(Hartree,the unit of energy in the atomic unit system) and 0.1407 nm,respectively,while for HREY,0.12883 Ha and 0.1121 nm,respectively.This confirms that HREY is more stable than LREY in binding on organic matter in coal.To conclude,both leaching tests and molecular simulation calculations reveal that REY has a strong adsorption affinity for organic matter in coal,and in particular,HREY shows a stronger organic ads

Sub-bandgap refractive indexes and optical properties of Sidopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) semiconductor thin films

In this article,we present a theoretical study on the sub-bandgap refractive indexes and optical properties of Sidopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin films based on newly developed models.The measured sub-bandgap refractive indexes ofβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film are explained well with the new model,leading to the determination of an explicit analytical dispersion of refractive indexes for photon energy below an effective optical bandgap energy of 4.952 eV for theβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film.Then,the oscillatory structures in long wavelength regions in experimental transmission spectra of Si-dopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin films with different Si doping concentrations are quantitively interpreted utilizing the determined sub-bandgap refractive index dispersion.Meanwhile,effective optical bandgap values of Si-dopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin films are further determined and are found to decrease with increasing the Si doping concentration as expectedly.In addition,the sub-bandgap absorption coefficients of Si-dopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film are calculated under the frame of the Franz–Keldysh mechanism due to the electric field effect of ionized Si impurities.The theoretical absorption coefficients agree with the available experimental data.These key parameters obtained in the present study may enrich the present understanding of the sub-bandgap refractive indexes and optical properties of impurity-dopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin films.

Plant-based dietary patterns and risk of esophageal cancer:A prospective cohort study spanning 17 years

Objective: Plant-based diets have multiple health benefits for cancers;however, little is known about the association between plant-based dietary patterns and esophageal cancer(EC).This study presents an investigation of the prospective associations among three predefined indices of plant-based dietary patterns and the risk of EC.Methods: We performed endoscopic screening for 15,709 participants aged 40-69 years from two high-risk areas of China from January 2005 to December 2009 and followed the cohort until December 31, 2022. The overall plant-based diet index(PDI), healthful plant-based diet index(h PDI), and unhealthful plant-based diet index(u PDI), were calculated using survey responses to assess dietary patterns. We applied Cox proportional hazard regression to estimate the multivariable hazard ratios(HRs) and 95% confidence intervals(95% CIs) of EC across 3plant-based diet indices and further stratified the analysis by subgroups.Results: The final study sample included 15,184 participants in the cohort. During a follow-up of 219,365person-years, 176 patients with EC were identified. When the highest quartile was compared with the lowest quartile, the pooled multivariable-adjusted HR of EC was 0.50(95% CI, 0.32-0.77) for h PDI. In addition, the HR per 10-point increase in the h PDI score was 0.42(95% CI, 0.27-0.66) for ECs. Conversely, u PDI was positively associated with the risk of EC, and the HR was 1.80(95% CI, 1.16-2.82). The HR per 10-point increase in the u PDI score was 1.90(95% CI, 1.26-2.88) for ECs. The associations between these scores and the risk of EC were consistent in most subgroups. These results remained robust in sensitivity analyses.Conclusions: A healthy plant-based dietary pattern was associated with a reduced risk of EC. Emphasizing the healthiness and quality of plant-based diets may be important for preventing the development of EC.

circRNA3669 promotes goat endometrial epithelial cells proliferation via miR-26a/RCN2 to activate PI3K/AKT-mTOR and MAPK pathways

The development of receptive endometrium(RE) from pre-receptive endometrium(PE) for successful embryo implantation is a complex dynamic process in which the morphology and physiological states of the endometrial epithelium undergo a series of significant changes, including cell proliferation and apoptosis. However, the molecular mechanisms are not yet fully understood. In this study, a higher circRNA3669 level was observed in PE than in RE of goats. Functional assays revealed that this overexpression promoted the proliferation of goat endometrial epithelial cells(GEECs) by activating the expression of genes related to the PI3K/AKT-mTOR and MAPK pathways,thereby inhibiting apoptosis in vitro. Furthermore, circRNA3669 functioned as a competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA) to upregulate Reticulocalbin-2(RCN2) expression at the post-transcriptional level by interacting with and downregulating miR-26a in GEECs. In addition, RCN2, which is highly expressed in the PE of goats, was found to be regulated by β-estradiol(E2) and progesterone(P4). Our results demonstrated that RCN2 also affected the key proteins PI3K, AKT, mTOR, JNK, and P38 in the PI3K/AKT-mTOR and MAPK pathways, thereby facilitating GEECs proliferation and suppressing their apoptosis in vitro. Collectively, we constructed a new circRNA3669-miR-26aRCN2 regulatory network in GEECs, which further provides strong evidence that circRNA could potentially play a crucial regulatory role in the development of RE in goats.

Supercapacitors as redox mediators for decoupled water splitting

With the help of the redox mediator, decoupled water-splitting allows O_(2)and H_(2)to be produced at different times, at different rates, and even in different cells, which promotes both the operation safety and the utilization of renewable power sources. However, the current densities and stabilities of these redox mediators are commonly low, which require further improvements for practical applications. Here, we propose to use supercapacitors as solid state redox mediators for decoupled water splitting. For demonstration, Na_(0.5)MnO_(2)(pseudocapacitor) and active carbon(double layer capacitor), are both used as the redox mediator. These supercapacitors show superior current density(1 A/cm^(2)) and ultralong cycle-life(8000 cycles) compared with commonly investigated battery-based mediators(NiOOH/Ni(OH)_(2)). Our research proves supercapacitors can be used as redox relay with high current density and stability, which may bring new insights in the design of decoupled water splitting systems.

An integrated microfluidic device for the simultaneous detection of multiple antibiotics

Residual antibiotics in food pose a serious long-term threat to human health.Therefore,an on-site visualization method for antibiotic detection is required.However,the requirements of traditional antibiotic testing methods in terms of operator proficiency and equipment cost hinder the rapid point-of-caretesting detection of suspected samples.Herein,we reported an integrated microfluidic device combining a microfluidic chip containing cruciform valves with immunochromatographic strips for the rapid detection of multiple antibiotics in milk.The rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis of four types of antibiotics(sulfonamides,β-lactams,streptomycin,and tetracyclines)was performed using mobile phone photography and mobile phone application analysis.The detection time was maintained at 10 min.The limits of detection(LODs)for the four antibiotics were 0.15,0.12,0.25,and 0.29 ng/mL,respectively,and the selectivity for the different antibiotics was observed even in a highly complex matrix.This device successfully integrated separation and real-time detection onto a chip and might provide a promising perspective for the detection of multiple antibiotics in milk.

Modes of occurrence and pre-concentration of rare earth elements in No.17 coal in Liupanshui coalfield,China

Rare earth elements(lanthanide and yttrium,abbreviated as REY) provide important support for national security,energy production,environmental protection and economic growth.In recent years,many studies have shown that the content of REY in some coal or coal by-products is close to or even higher than that in traditional REY ore,which makes coal a potential source of REY.This study took the No.17 coal of Panzhou mining area in Liupanshui coal field as the research object,and the content and occurrence modes of REY in raw coal and 7 density fraction samples were studied.The results show that the content of REY in the raw coal reaches 220.67 μg/g,which is significantly higher than the average REY content in the world coal and Chinese coal as reported in the literature.Gravity separation has a certain pre-enrichment effect on REY and the fraction sample> 1.8 g/cm~3 has the highest REY of 426.27 μg/g(equal to rare earth oxide 0.1%).Study on correlation between REY and ash yields reveals that the organic affinity of the light rare earth is higher than that of the medium rare earth and the heavy rare earth.As shown by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray flouresence spectroscopy(XRF),the major minerals in coal are kaolinite,quartz and calcite,and the content of REY in coal is significantly related to Al,Si and kaolinite,which implies that REY occur mainly in kaolinite.Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy(LA-ICP-MS) was adopted to determine chemical composition of micro-zone in kaolinite in coal and the results show that there is no obvious correlation between REY and the contents of Al and Si.This indicates that the REY occur probably in the form of adsorption.The research results provide a scientific reference for the potential extraction of the associated REY in the coal.

Bearing Fault Diagnosis with DDCNN Based on Intelligent Feature Fusion Strategy in Strong Noise

Intelligent fault diagnosis in modern mechanical equipment maintenance is increasingly adopting deep learning technology.However,conventional bearing fault diagnosis models often suffer from low accuracy and unstable performance in noisy environments due to their reliance on a single input data.Therefore,this paper proposes a dual-channel convolutional neural network(DDCNN)model that leverages dual data inputs.The DDCNN model introduces two key improvements.Firstly,one of the channels substitutes its convolution with a larger kernel,simplifying the structure while addressing the lack of global information and shallow features.Secondly,the feature layer combines data from different sensors based on their primary and secondary importance,extracting details through small kernel convolution for primary data and obtaining global information through large kernel convolution for secondary data.Extensive experiments conducted on two-bearing fault datasets demonstrate the superiority of the two-channel convolution model,exhibiting high accuracy and robustness even in strong noise environments.Notably,it achieved an impressive 98.84%accuracy at a Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR)of−4 dB,outperforming other advanced convolutional models.
