The large-scale green tide caused by Ulva has occurred successively in the Yellow Sea since 2007,and new events of green tide also continued to appear in nearby sea areas,indicating an undergoing rapid development of occurrence patterns for harmful macroalgal blooms(HMBs)along coastal *** August 2021,a green tide occurred for the first time in Bayuquan sea area of Yingkou city,liaoning Province in the Bohai *** this study,morphological and molecular approaches were used to identify the causative species as ***,an alien subtropical alga previously found to dominate green tides in the South China *** to the hydrological data of Bayuquan in summer 2021,combined with morphological and developmental observations for this alga,we hypothesized that the disturbance caused by the typhoon In-Fa might have detached the local *** from substrates,especially for those thalli with poorly developed holdfasts,and the ensuing wave-free period with unusually high temperature,which fell in the reported optimum growth temperature for ***,might have provided the favorable conditions for the final bloom of the floating *** is the first report on the bloom of subtropical *** in the north temperate sea zone,indicating that the ecological risk of causing green tides in the future by this rapidly spreading species deserves high attention.

Segment routing for traffic engineering and effective recovery in low-earth orbit satellite constellations

low-Earth Orbit Satellite Constellations(lEO-SCs)provide global,high-speed,and low latency Internet access services,which bridges the digital divide in the remote *** inter-satellite links are not supported in initial deployment(*** Starlink),the communication between satellites is based on ground stations with radio frequency *** to the rapid movement of satellites,this hybrid topology of lEO-SCs and ground stations is time-varying,which imposes a major challenge to uninterrupted service provisioning and network *** this paper,we focus on solving two notable problems in such a ground station-assisted lEO-SC topology,i.e.,traffic engineering and fast reroute,to guarantee that the packets are forwarded in a balanced and uninterrupted ***,we employ segment routing to support the arbitrary path routing in *** solve the traffic engineering problem,we proposed two source routings with traffic splitting algorithms,Delay-Bounded Traffic Splitting(DBTS)and DBTS+,where DBTS equally splits a flow and DBTS+favors shorter ***-lation results show that DBTS+can achieve about 30%lower maximum satellite load at the cost of about 10%more *** guarantee the fast recovery of failures,two fast reroute mechanisms,loop-Free Alternate(lFA)and lFA+,are studied,where lFA pre-computes an alternate next-hop as a backup while lFA+finds a 2-segment backup *** show that lFA+can increase the percentage of protection coverage by about 15%.

It has been widely reported that,for faceted nanocrystals,the two adjacent facets with different band levels contribute to promoted charge separation,and provide active sites for photocatalytic reduction and oxidation reaction,*** such cases,only one family of facets can be used for photocatalytic hydrogen ***,by using SrTiO_(3)nanocrystals enclosed by{023}and{001}facets as a model photocatalyst,this paper proposed a strategy to achieve the full-facets-utilization of the nanocrystals for photocatalytic hydrogen via chemically depositing Pt nanoparticles on all *** photo-deposition experiment of CdS provided direct evidence to demonstrate that the{023}facets which were responsible for photooxidation reaction can be function-reversed for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution after depositing Pt nanoparticles,together with the{001}***,the full-facets-utilization led to a much-improved activity for photocatalytic hydrogen,in contrast to those SrTiO_(3)nanocrystals with only{001}facets deposited by Pt nanoparticles via a photo-deposition method.

Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase is a transmembrane protein that has important roles in the maintenance of electrochemical gradients across cell membranes by transporting three Na^(+)out of and two K^(+)into ***,Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase participates in Ca^(2+)-signaling transduction and neurotransmitter release by coordinating the ion concentration gradient across the cell ***^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase works synergistically with multiple ion channels in the cell membrane to form a dynamic network of ion homeostatic regulation and affects cellular communication by regulating chemical signals and the ion balance among different types of *** re,it is not surprising that Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase dysfunction has emerged as a risk factor for a variety of neurological ***,published studies have so far only elucidated the important roles of Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase dysfunction in disease development,and we are lacking detailed mechanisms to clarify how Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase affects cell *** recent studies revealed that membrane loss of Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase is a key mechanism in many neurological disorders,particularly stroke and Parkinson's *** of plasma membrane Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase with an antibody is a novel strategy to treat these *** this reason,Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase acts not only as a simple ion pump but also as a sensor/regulator or cytoprotective protein,participating in signal transduction such as neuronal autophagy and apoptosis,and glial cell ***,the present review attempts to summarize the novel biological functions of Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase and Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase-related *** potential for novel strategies to treat Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase-related brain diseases will also be discussed.

Correlation between liquid structure and glass forming ability in glassy Ag-based binary alloys

The atomic structures of liquid Ag-based binary alloys have been investigated in the solidification process by means of X-ray diffraction. The results of liquid structure show that there is a break point in the mean nearest neighbor distance r1 and the coordination number Nmin for glass-forming liquid, while the correlation radius rc and the coordination number Nmin display a monotone variational trend above the break point. It means glass-forming liquids have a steady changing in structure above liquidus and more inhomogeneous state at liquidus. We conclude that there is a strong correlation between liquid structure and glass forming ability in Ag-based binary alloys.

The serious environmental threat caused by petroleum-based plastics has spurred more researches in developing substitutes from renewable *** is desirable for fabricating bioplastic due to its abundance and renewable ***,limitations such as brittleness,hydrophilicity,and thermal properties restrict its widespread *** overcome these issues,covalent adaptable network was constructed to fabricate a fully bio-based starch plastic with multiple advantages via Schiff base *** strategy endowed starch plastic with excellent thermal processability,as evidenced by a low glass transition temperature （Tg=20.15℃）.Through introducing Priamine with long carbon chains,the starch plastic demonstrated superior flexibility （elongation at break=45.2%） and waterproof capability （water contact angle=109.2°）.Besides,it possessed a good thermal stability and self-adaptability,as well as solvent resistance and chemical *** work provides a promising method to fabricate fully bio-based plastics as alternative to petroleum-based plastics.

Global Research Progress on Municipal Waste and Future Prospect Based on the Cross-national Comparisons

Due to the acceleration of urbanization,the municipal waste(MW)problem has transformed into a global challenge for urb-an *** elucidate historical trends,current focal points,and future directions in MW research,we conducted a bibliometric analysis and employed knowledge graph visualization to scrutinize a total of 34212 articles,which were published between 1991 and 2021 in the Web of Science(WoS)core *** results indicated that current major research themes encompass waste classifica-tion and recycling,waste management and public behavior,waste disposal methods and technologies,as well as environmental impact and *** has been a shift in the research focus from the environmental impacts of waste incineration to sustainable manage-ment related issues.A comparison of research from six typical countries revealed the differences in research priorities and techniques *** from the USA and Britain initiated MW research earlier than other countries and investigated management issues in depth,such as public behavior and willingness to ***,Japanese,German,and Swedish scholars conducted extensive studies on advanced waste treatment technologies,such as disposal and recycling,risk assessment,and waste-to-energy *** scholars placed particular emphasis on end-of-pipe treatments and their associated environmental *** and poten-tial future frontiers were identified by burst detection *** with high value of burst index(BI)worldwide are food waste and circular *** scholars have put great efforts on waste environmental impact and its recycling technologies,while we’re expecting to further investigating vulnerable ***,this study contributes to bridging the regional gap of scientific research among different countries and fostering international collaboration.

Preparation of PrFe_(x)Co_(1-x)O_(3)/Mt catalyst and study on degradation of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid wastewater by catalytic wet peroxide oxidation

In this study,the perovskite nanocomposite PrFe_(x)Co_(1-x)O_(3)(Pr(S))was successfully synthesized by the sol-gel method;PrFe_(x)Co_(1-x)O_(3)/Al-pillared montmorillonite(Pr(S)/Mt)catalysts were prepared by impregnation(D)method and solid-melting(G)method,respectively,with Pr(S)as the active component and Al-pillared montmorillonite as the *** catalysts were applied to treat the 2-hydroxybenzoic acid(2-HA)-simulated wastewater by catalytic wet peroxide oxidation(CWPO)technique,and the chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate and the 2-HA degradation rate were used as indicators to evaluate the catalytic *** results of the experiment indicated that the solid-melting method was more conducive to preparing the catalyst when the Co/Fe molar ratio of 7:3 and the optimal structural properties of the catalysts were *** influence of operating parameters,including reaction temperature,catalyst dosage,H_(2)O_(2)dosage,pH,and initial 2-HA concentration,were optimized for the degradation of 2-HA by *** results showed that 97.64%of 2-HA degradation and 75.23%of COD removal rate were achieved under more suitable experimental *** addition,after the catalyst was used five times,the degradation rate of 2-HA could still reach 76.93%,which implied the high stability and reusability of the *** high catalytic activity of the catalyst was due to the doping of Co into PrFeO_(3),which could promote the generation of HO·,and the high stability could be attributed to the loading of Pr(S)onto Al-Mt,which reduced the leaching of reactive *** study of reaction mechanism and kinetics showed that the whole degradation process conformed to the pseudo-firstorder kinetic equation,and the langmuir-Hinshelwood method was applied to demonstrate that catalysis was dominant in the degradation process.

The relationship between viscosity and glass forming ability of Al-(Ni)-Yb alloy systems

The dynamic viscosity of Al-Yb and Al-Ni-Yb superheated melts was measured using a torsional oscillation viscometer. The results show that the temperature dependence of viscosity fits the Arrhenius law well and the fitting factors are calculated. The amorphous ribbons of these alloys were produced by the melt spinning technique and the thermal properties were characterized by using a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). E (the activation energy for viscous flow), which reflects the change rate of viscosity, has a good negative relation with the GFA in both Al-Yb and Al-Ni-Yb systems. However, there is no direct relation between liquidus viscosity (ηl) and GFA. The superheated fragility M can predict GFA in Al-Yb or Al-Ni-Yb alloy system.
