With an aim to comprehend the precise regulatory mechanism of dioscin against endometrial carcinoma(EC), we firstly extracted the components from Polygonatum sibiricum followed by identification and structural characterization. The anti-EC activity of dioscin was initially determined based on the inhibition of Ishikawa cell proliferation and tumor growth. The high-throughput sequencing data indicated that dioscin not only promoted apoptosis, including decrease of poly ADP-ribose polymerase(PARP) and B-cell lymphoma-2.Bcl-2. and increase of c-PARP and Bcl-2.associcated agonist of cell death(Bad), but also induced autophagy, including increase of autophagic lysosomes and LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ ratio. Mechanistic exploration suggested that dioscin induced autophagy and apoptosis through inhibition of PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. Besides, the dioscin-regulated p53 pathway was mainly involved in autophagy induction. Furthermore, inhibition of Ishikawa cell autophagy was linked to dioscin-induced apoptosis. Our data suggest the immense potential of dioscin for the development of functional food for EC and related medical application.

PbZrO_(3)-based antiferroelectric(AFE)ceramics are promising dielectrics for high-energy-density capacitors due to their reversible phase transitions during charge-discharge *** this work,a new composition series,[Pb_(0.93-x)La_(0.02.(Li_(1/2.Bi_(1/2.)_(x)Sr_(0.04)][Zr_(0.57)Sn_(0.34)Ti_(0.09)]O_(3),with Li^(+)and Bi^(3+)substitution of Pb^(2.)at x=0,0.04,0.08,0.12.0.16 is investigated for the microstructure evolution,ferroelectric(FE)and dielectric *** is found that Li^(+) and Bi^(3+) substitution can significantly reduce the sintering temperature and simultaneously enhance the dielectric breakdown *** ultrahigh energy efficiency(94.0%)and a large energy density(3.2. J/cm^(3))are achieved in the composition of x=0.12.with a low sintering temperature(1075℃).

Grain growth of magnesium(Mg)and its hydride is one of the main reasons for kinetic and capacity degradation during the hydrogen absorption and desorption *** solve this problem,herein we propose a novel method involving synergistic effect of inside embedded metals and outside coated graphene to limit the growth of Mg and its hydride *** graphene coated Mg-Y-Al alloys were selected as a model system for demonstrating this positive effect where the Mg_(91)Y_(3)Al_(6)alloy was first prepared by rapidly solidified method and then high-pressure milled with 5 wt%graphene upon 5 MPa hydrogen gas for obtaining in-situ formed YAl_(2.and YH_(3)embedded in the MgH_(2.matrix with graphene shell(denoted as MgH_(2.-Y-Al@GR).In comparison to pure MgH_(2.,the obtained MgH_(2.-Y-Al@GR composites deliver much better kinetics and more stable cyclic *** instance,the MgH_(2.-Y-Al@GR can release about 6.1 wt%H_(2.within 30 min at 300℃ but pure MgH_(2.only desorbs∼1.5 wt%H_(2..The activation energy for desorption of MgH_(2.-Y-Al@GR samples is calculated to be 75.3±9.1 kJ/mol that is much lower than approximately 160 kJ/mol for pure MgH_(2..Moreover,its capacity retention is promoted from∼57%of pure MgH_(2.to∼84%after 50th cycles without obvious particle agglomeration and grain *** synergistic effect of outside graphene coating with inside embedded metals which could provide a huge number of active sites for catalysis as well as inhibit the grain growth of Mg and its hydride is believed to be responsible for these.

Background Light is a critical factor in plant growth and development,particularly in controlled ***-emitting diodes(LEDs)have become a reliable alternative to conventional high pressure sodium(HSP)lamps because they are more efficient and versatile in light *** contrast to well-known specialized LED light spectra for vegetables,the appropriate LED lights for crops such as cotton remain *** In this growth chamber study,we selected and compared four LED lights with varying percentages(2..44%–68.68%)of red light(R,600–700 nm),combined with other lights,for their effects on growth,leaf anatomy,and photosynthesis of cotton seedlings,using HSP lamp as a *** total photosynthetic photon flux density(PPFD)was(2.5±2.μmol·m-2.s-1 for all LEDs and HSP *** results showed significant differences in all tested parameters among lights,and the percentage of far red(FR,701–780 nm)within the range of 3.03%–11.86%was positively correlated with plant growth(characterized by leaf number and area,plant height,stem diameter,and total biomass),palisade layer thickness,photosynthesis rate(Pn),and stomatal conductance(Gs).The ratio of R/FR(4.445–11.497)negatively influenced the growth of cotton seedlings,and blue light(B)suppressed stem elongation but increased palisade cell length,chlorophyll content,and *** The LED 2.was superior to other LED lights and HSP *** had the highest ratio of FR within the total PPFD(11.86%)and the lowest ratio of R/FR(4.445).LED 2.may therefore be used to replace HPS lamp under controlled environments for the study of cotton at the seedling stage.

Electrocatalytic 5-hydroxymethylfurfural oxidation reaction(HMFOR)provides a promising strategy to convert biomass derivative to highvalue-added ***,a cascade strategy is proposed to construct Pd-NiCo_(2.O_(4)electrocatalyst by Pd loading on Ni-doped Co3O4 and for highly active and stable synergistic HMF *** elevated current density of 800 mA cm^(-2.can be achieved at 1.5 V,and both Faradaic efficiency and yield of 2.5-furandicarboxylic acid remained close to 100%over 10 consecutive *** and theoretical results unveil that the introduction of Pd atoms can modulate the local electronic structure of Ni/Co,which not only balances the competitive adsorption of HMF and OH-species,but also promote the active Ni^(3+)species formation,inducing high indirect oxidation *** have also discovered that Ni incorporation facilitates the Co2.pre-oxidation and electrophilic OH*generation to contribute direct oxidation *** work provides a new approach to design advanced electrocatalyst for biomass upgrading.

Genetic dissection and validation of a major QTL for grain weight on chromosome 3B in bread wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)

Grain weight is one of the key components of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)*** manipulation of grain weight is an efficient approach for improving yield potential in breeding programs.A recombinant inbred line(RIL)population derived from a cross between W72.8 and Chuanyu 12.CY12.was employed to detect quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for thousand-grain weight(TGW),grain length(GL),grain width(GW),and the ratio of grain length to width(GLW)in six *** major QTLs,***-2.,***-2.,***-3B,***-4B.1,***-2..1,***-2..1 and ***-3B.1,were consistently identified in at least four environments and the best linear unbiased estimation(BLUE)datasets,and they explained 2.61 to 34.85%of the phenotypic *** interactions were detected between the two major TGW QTLs and three major GW *** addition,***-3B.1 and ***-3B were co-located,and the improved TGW at this locus was contributed by *** other loci,***-3B.1/***-3B had no effect on grain number per spike(GNS).They were further validated in advanced lines using Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR(KASP)markers,and a comparison analysis indicated that ***-3B.1/***-3B is likely a novel *** haplotypes were identified in the region of this QTL and their distribution frequencies varied between the landraces and *** to gene annotation,spatial expression patterns,ortholog analysis and sequence variation,the candidate gene of ***-3B.1/***-3B was ***,the major QTLs and KASP markers reported here provide valuable information for elucidating the genetic architecture of grain weight and for molecular marker-assisted breeding in grain yield improvement.

Cu catalysts,known for their unparalleled catalytic capabilities due to their unique electronic structure,have faced inherent challenges in maintaining long-term effectiveness under harsh hydrogenation ***,we demonstrate a molybdenum-mediated redispersion behavior of Cu under hightemperature oxidation *** oxidized Cu nanoparticles with rich metal-support interfaces tend to dissolve into the MoO_(3)support upon heating to 600℃,which facilitates the subsequent regeneration in a reducing atmosphere.A similar redispersion phenomenon is observed for Cu nanoparticles supported on Zn O-modified MoO_(3).The modification of ZnO significantly improves the performance of the Cu catalyst for CO_(2.hydrogenation to methanol,with the high activity being well maintained after four repeated oxidation-reduction *** situ spectroscopic and theoretical analyses suggest that the interaction involved in the formation of the copper molybdate-like compound is the driving force for the redispersion of *** method is applicable to various Mo-based oxide supports,offering a practical strategy for the regeneration of sintered Cu particles in hydrogenation applications.

Objective:To analyze the MRI features and rare manifestations of schwannomas of the extremities to improve ***:Retrospective analysis of 2. cases of schwannomas in the extremities confirmed by surgical pathology,summarizing its signs,signal characteristics and MRI ***:Among the 2. cases,2. were single lesions,and 3 were multiple lesions,resulting in a total of 2. *** distribution of these lesions included 7 in the thigh,9 in the calves,4 in the armpits,3 in the hips,and 4 each in the upper arms and ***,there was one lesion located in the *** T1-weighted imaging(T1WI),the lesions showed iso-intensity or *** T2.weighted imaging(T2.I),they appeared slightly hyperintense or *** lesions exhibited multiple small vesicle-like higher signals,cystic changes,and fiber spacing on ***,one lesion showed a liquid-liquid ***“target sign”was observed in 18 lesions(64.3%)and“neuropathic signs”were present in six lesions(2..4%).Finally,it was noted that on MRI enhancement,the lesions demonstrated uniform or uneven *** lesions were uniformly or unevenly enhanced on MRI ***:The MRI findings of schwannoma in the extremities exhibit specific *** cystic changes on T2.I also display distinct *** of rare MRI findings,such as cystic changes,liquid-liquid plane and septum,should be emphasized to enhance the accuracy of pre-diagnosing schwannomas.
