To improve the therapeutic effect of rhaponticin （RHA）, a folate receptor （FR） targeted RHA prodrug was designed and regioselectively synthesized by utilizing a hydrophilic peptide spacer linked to folic acid （FA） via a releasable disulfide linker. A series of biological evaluation was investigated in vitro and in vivo. The positive results of biological investigations warrant further preclinical study before this novel targeted chemotherapeutic is considered for clinical investigation.

Glomus tumors, also known as glomangiomas, are rare and originate in the neuromyoarterial glomus, a normal arteriovenous shunt which is abundantly supplied with nerve fibers and fulfills a temperature-regulating function. The classic location of glomus tumor is the subungual region, but the tumor can occur elsewhere in the skin, soft tissues, nerves, stomach, nasal cavity, and *** the gastrointestinal （GI） tract the tumor occurs more often in the stomach than other parts, and typically occurs as a solitary submucosal nodule in the antrum. We reported a case of glomus tumor originating from the greater curvature of stomach which was studied with contrast-enhanced helical computed tomography （CT） and described the characteristic helical CT findings of the rare lesion.

Methane, an abundant one-carbon（C1） resource, is extensively used in the industrial production of vital fuels and value-added chemicals. However, current industrial methane conversion technologies are energy-and carbon-intensive, mainly due to the high activation energy required to break the inert C–H bond, low selectivity, and problematic side reactions, including CO2emissions and coke deposition. Electrochemical conversion of methane（ECM） using intermittent renewable energy offers an attractive solution, due to its modular reactor design and operational flexibility across a broad spectrum of temperatures and pressures. This review emphasizes conversion pathways of methane in various reaction systems, highlighting the significance and advantages of ECM in facilitating a sustainable artificial carbon cycle. This work provides a comprehensive overview of conventional methane activation mechanisms and delineates the complete pathways of methane conversion in electrolysis contexts. Based on surface/interface chemistry, this work systematically analyzes proposed reaction pathways and corresponding strategies to enhance ECM efficiency towards various target products, including syngas, hydrocarbons, oxygenates, and advanced carbon materials. The discussion also encompasses opportunities and challenges for the ECM process, including insights into ECM pathways, rational electrocatalyst design, establishment of benchmarking protocols, electrolyte engineering, enhancement of CH4conversion rates, and minimization of CO2emission.

BACKGROUND： Ventilator induced lung injury （VILI） is a serious complication in the treatment of mechanical ventilating patients, and it is also the main cause that results in exacerbation or death of patients. In this study, we produced VILI models by using glucocorticoid in rats with high tidal volume mechanical ventilation, and observed the content of macrophage inflammatory protein-1α （MIP-1α） in plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid （BALF） and the expression of MIP-1α mRNA and nuclear factor-kappa B （NF-кB） p65 mRNA in the lung so as to explore the role of glucocorticoid in mechanical ***： Thirty-two healthy Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group, a ventilator induced lung injury （VILI） group, a dexamethasone （DEX） group and a budesonide （BUD） group. The content of MIP-1a in plasma and BALF was measured with ELISA and the level of MIP-1α mRNA and NF-кBp65 mRNA expressing in the lung of rats were detected by RT-PCR. The data were expressed as mean±SD and were compared between the ***： The content of MIP-1α in plasma and BALF and the level of MIP-1α mRNA and NF-кBp65 mRNA in the lung in the DEX and BUD groups were signifi cantly lower than those in the VILI group （P〈0.001）. Although the content of MIP-1α in plasma and BALF and the level of MIP-1α mRNA and NF-кBp65 mRNA in the lung in the BUD group were higher than those in the DEX group, there were no signifi cant differences between them （P〉0.05）.CONCLUSIONS： Glucocorticoid could down-regulate the expression of MIP-1α by inhibiting the activity of NF-кB in the lung and may exert preventive and therapeutic effects on VILI to some extent. The effect of local use of glucocorticoid against VILI is similar to that of systemic use, but there is lesser adverse reaction.

Enhancing the concentration of exogenous molecular drugs within the tumor microenvironment through enzyme-catalyzed polymerization presents a novel strategy for cancer therapy. Nonetheless, the optimization of the catalytic efficiency is often impeded by the inefficient expression of enzymes. Herein, we reported a self-amplifying fluorescent molecular probe, Bis-HTPICG, for photodynamic therapy(PDT) and subsequent PDT-induced immunoreaction. The Bis-HTP-ICG probe possesses a noticeable enzyme-catalyzed polymerization facilitated by myeloperoxidase(MPO), a crucial enzyme secreted by neutrophils at inflammation sites. Upon exposure to laser irradiation, Bis-HTP-ICG showed a high PDT efficacy, inducing an acute inflammatory response that stimulates further recruitment of neutrophils and then elevated MPO secretion. The heightened level of MPO enhances the accumulation of the Bis-HTP-ICG via self-polymerization or binding with intratumoral proteins following MPO enzyme catalysis, instigating a self-amplifying chain reaction cycle involving Bis-HTP-ICG, neutrophils and ***, PDT efficiently incites immunogenic cell death(ICD) in tumor cells, initiating an anti-tumor immune response including dendritic cells(DCs) maturation, T cell proliferation and reprogramming of tumor-associated neutrophils(TANs). This work portrays a promising strategy for self-amplification of fluorescent molecular probes through adjustable enzyme levels,potentially offering a unique avenue to enhance the tumor accumulation of molecular drugs for improved tumor therapy.

Background: With the publication of Sepsis-3 definition, epidemiological data based on Sepsis-3 definition from middle-income countries including China are scarce, which prohibits understanding of the disease burden of this newly defined syndrome in these settings. The purpose of this study was to describe incidence and outcome of Sepsis-3 in Yuetan sub-district of Beijing and to estimate the incidence rate of Sepsis-3 in China. Methods: The medical records of all adult residents hospitalized from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014 in Yuetan sub-district of Beijing were reviewed. Patients with sepsis-3 and severe sepsis/septic shock were identified. The incidence rates and mortality rate of sepsis-3 and sepsis/septic shock were calculated, incidence rates and in-hospital mortality rates were normalized to the population distribution in the 2010 National Census. Population incidence rate and case fatality rate between sexes were compared with the Z test, as the data conformed to Poisson distribution. Results: Of the 21,191 hospitalized patients, 935 patients were diagnosed with Sepsis-3, and 498 cases met severe sepsis/septic shock criteria. The crude annual incidence rate of Sepsis-3 in Yuetan sub-district was 363 cases per 100,000 population, corresponding to standardized incidence rates of 236 cases per 100,000 population per year, respectively. The overall case fatality rate of Sepsis-3 was 32.0%, the crude population mortality rates of Sepsis-3 was 116 cases per 100,000 population per year, the standardized mortality rate was 67 cases per 100,000 population per year, corresponding to a speculative extrapolation of 700,437 deaths in China. The incidence rate and mortality rate of Sepsis-3 were significantly higher in males, elderly people, and patients with more comorbidities. The 62.1% of patients with Sepsis-3 had community-acquired infections, compared with 75.3% of infected patients without Sepsis-3 (P < 0.001). The most common infection in patients with Sepsis-3

卧式车床是一种基础的机械加工设备,车床结构与传动原理是机械专业人员必须掌握的知识。但传统的机床教学模式大多是被动式的,基于虚拟现实技术的可视化机床仿真教学系统能为学生提供一种很好的主动式学习模式。提出了卧式车床虚拟操纵机构的运动仿真系统的创建方法—查表法。以主轴六级变速机构为例,介绍了其运动的仿真方法,并且在虚拟仿真软件Eon Studio5.0和Visual C++6.0实现了该机构的仿真。
