With the two-scale expansion technique proposed by Yoshizawa,the turbulent fluctuating field is expanded around the isotropic *** a low-order two-scale expansion,applying the mode coupling approximation in the Yakhot-Orszag renormalization group method to analyze the fluctuating field,the Reynolds-average terms in the Reynolds stress transport equation,such as the convective term,the pressure-gradient-velocity correlation term and the dissipation term,are *** numerical examples：turbulent flow past a backward-facing step and the fully developed flow in a rotating channel,are presented for testing the efficiency of the proposed second-order *** these two numerical examples,the proposed model performs as well as the Gibson-Launder （GL） model,giving better prediction than the standard k-ε model,especially in the abilities to calculate the secondary flow in the backward-facing step flow and to capture the asymmetric turbulent structure caused by frame rotation.

AIM: To investigate the expression of CD73 and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) in human gastric carcinoma, and explore their clinical significance and prognostic value. METHODS: CD73 and HIF-1α expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry in consecutive sections of tissue samples from 68 gastric carcinoma patients. The peritumor tissues 2 cm away from the tumor were obtained and served as controls. The presence of CD73 and HIF-1α was analyzed by immunohis-tochemistry using the Envision technique. RESULTS: CD73 and HIF-1α expressions in gastric carcinoma were significantly higher than those in gastric mucosal tissues as control (P luSION: CD73 expression correlates closely with HIF-1α expression in gastric carcinoma. CD73 could be an independent prognostic indicator for gastric carcinoma.

Keggin type heteropolyacids was found to be an efficient and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of biologically active quinoxaline derivatives from the condensation of 1,2-diamine with 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds in excellent yields in water. This method provides a new and efficient protocol in terms of small quantity of catalyst, a wide scope of substrates, and simple work-up procedure.

The oxygenation constants of transition-metal complexes with benzoin Schiff bases were measured and these complexes were first employed as models for mimicking monooxygenase in catalytic epoxidation of styrene. The highest conversion and selectivity were up to 39.6% and 100% respectively at ambient temperature and pressure. The effects of structures of the bridge group R in the ligands on the dioxygen affinities and catalytic activities to epoxidize styrene were also investigated.

Colchicine is a neutral lipophilic tricyclic alkaloid toxic to human cells containing tubulin,[1-2]and primarily stops the proliferation of active cells in the mitotic metaphase,such as intestinal mucosal cells and hematopoietic *** is widely used in treating gout and familial Mediterranean fever,while it is also used in establishing animal and plant experimental model.[3]In the recent study,treatment of patients affected by coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)with colchicine may prove a viable path.[4]The course of colchicine poisoning can be divided into three stages,[5]and most of the patients died in the second stage(2-7 d,the multiple organ injury stage).The cause of death was heart failure[6]and bone marrow hematopoietic failure in the terminal phase.[7]Hematopoiesis is a classic sign of colchicine *** cases of colchicine poisoning have been comprehensively reported,and the target organs included heart,digestive tract,muscle,lung,kidney,hematopoietic system,etc.[8-11]This study aimed to investigate the injury of bone marrow hematopoietic system after colchicine poisoning and evaluate the therapeutic effect of bone marrow hematopoietic stimulation drugs.
