Tris(trimethylsilyl)borate(TMSB) has been intensively studied to improve the performances of lithiumion batteries. However, it is still an interesting issue needed to be resolved for the research on the Li^(+) solvation structure affected by TMSB additive. Herein, the electrochemical tests, quantum chemistry calculations, potential-resolved in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements and surface analyses were used to explore the effects of Li^(+) solvation structure with TMSB additive on the formation of the cathode electrolyte interface(CEI) film in LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)/Li half cells. The results reveal that the TMSB additive is easy to complex with Li^(+) ion, thus weaken the intermolecular force between Li^(+) ions and ethylene carbonate solvent, which is benefit for the cycle performance. Besides, the changed Li^(+) solvation structure results in a thin and dense CEI film containing compounds with Si–O and B–O bonds which is favorable to the transfer of Li^(+) ions. As a result, the performances of the LNCM811/Li half cells are effectively improved. This research provides a new idea to construct a high-performance CEI film by adjusting the Li^(+) solvation structures.

A file format for storage of scalable video is proposed. A generic model is presented to enable a codec independent description of scalable video stream. The relationships, especially the dependencies, among sub-streams in a scalable video stream are specified sufficiently and effectively in the proposed model. Complying with the presented scalable video stream model, the file format for scalable video is proposed based on ISO Base Media File Format, which is simple and flexible enough to address the demands of scalable video application as well as the non-scalable ones.

We present a method by using the phase characteristics of radio observation data for pulsar search and candidate *** phase characteristics are relations between the pulsar signal and the phase correction in the frequency-domain,and we regard it as a new search diagnostic *** on the phase characteristics,a search method is presented:calculating dispersion measure(DM)—frequency data to select candidate frequencies,and then confirming of candidates by using the broadband characteristics of pulsar *** on this method,we performed a search test on short observation data of M15 and M71,which were observed by Five-hundredmeter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope,and some of the Galactic Plane Pulsar Snapshot survey *** show that it can get similar search results to PRESTO(Pulsa R Exploration and Search TOolkit)while having a faster processing speed.

Obesity-induced insulin resistance is the hallmark of metabolic syndrome,and chronic,low-grade tissue inflammation links obesity to insulin resistance through the activation of tissue-infiltrating immune *** therapeutic approaches lack efficacy and immunomodulatory ***,a new therapeutic approach is needed to prevent chronic inflammation and alleviate insulin ***,we synthesized a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid(tFNA)nanoparticle that carried resveratrol(RSV)to inhibit tissue inflammation and improve insulin sensitivity in obese *** prepared nanoparticles,namely tFNAs-RSV,possessed the characteristics of simple synthesis,stable properties,good water solubility,and superior *** tFNA-based delivery ameliorated the lability of RSV and enhanced its therapeutic *** high-fat diet(HFD)-fed mice,the administration of tFNAs-RSV ameliorated insulin resistance by alleviating inflammation ***-RSV could reverse M1 phenotype macrophages in tissues to M2 phenotype *** for adaptive immunity,the prepared nanoparticles could repress the activation of Th1 and Th17 and promote Th2 and Treg,leading to the alleviation of insulin ***,this study is the first to demonstrate that tFNAs,a nucleic acid material,possess immunomodulatory ***,our findings demonstrate that tFNAs-RSV alleviate insulin resistance and ameliorate inflammation in HFD mice,suggesting that nucleic acid materials or nucleic acid-based delivery systems may be a potential agent for the treatment of insulin resistance and obesity-related metabolic diseases.

V85Ni15(at%)alloy was proposed as a promising candidate for hydrogen separation *** date,investigations of V85Ni15 alloy have concentrated on hydrogen permeation characteristics,and little work has been done on the microstructural *** the present study,various fabrication and heat-treatment techniques were used to develop different microstructures which would then be tailored to achieve a desired candidate for acceptable mechanical stability while maintaining high hydrogen *** arc-melted(AM)V85Ni15 alloy are supersaturated solid solution with dendritic segregation of Ni-solute *** rolling(CR)followed by annealing at 1050℃and 850℃can produce a two-phase(V+σ)microstructure and a three-phase(V+σ+NiV3)microstructure,*** fine two-phase microstructure obtained at 1050℃involves a simultaneous reaction of second-phase precipitation and V-matrix *** phase is formed via primary precipitation,while NiV3 phase is formed by peritectoidal *** AMCR samples were homogenized at1250℃for 2 h and sequential heat-treated at 850℃or900℃for 2 h,precipitation-strengthening microstructure is obtained:large grain structure of V-matrix with uniform distribution of second-phase particles produced by recrystallization and grain growth followed by precipitation process.

The clinical efficacy of current cancer therapies falls short,and there is a pressing demand to integrate new targets with conventional ***,a highly conserved self-degradation process,has received considerable attention as an emerging therapeutic target for *** the rapid development of nanomedicine,nanomaterials have been widely utilized in cancer therapy due to their unrivaled delivery ***,considering the potential benefits of integrating autophagy and nanotechnology in cancer therapy,we outline the latest advances in autophagy-based *** on a brief background related to autophagy and nanotherapeutics and their impact on tumor progression,the feasibility of autophagy-based nanotherapeutics for cancer treatment is ***,emerging nanotherapeutics developed to modulate autophagy are reviewed from the perspective of cell signaling pathways,including modulation of the mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)pathway,autophagy-related(ATG)and its complex expression,reactive oxygen species(ROS)and mitophagy,interference with autophagosome-lysosome fusion,and inhibition of hypoxia-mediated *** addition,combination therapies in which nano-autophagy modulation is combined with chemotherapy,phototherapy,and immunotherapy are also ***,the prospects and challenges of autophagy-based nanotherapeutics for efficient cancer treatment are envisioned.

Multiferroic materials with coexisting ferroelectric and magnetic orders have attracted tremendous research interests because of their intriguing fundamental physics as well as potential applications in the next-generation multifunctional devices. Hexaferrites with conical magnetic structures are among the most promising single-phase multiferroics because strong magnetoelectric effects can be achieved in them from low temperatures up to room temperature in low magnetic fields. In this review, after briefly introducing the background on multiferroics and classification of hexaferrites, we summarize recent progress in multiferroic hexaferrites, including the mechanisms of spin-induced ferroelectricity, the magnetoelectric phase diagram, giant direct and converse magnetoelectric effects. Furthermore, we present a new mechanism of magnetic-ion-induced displacive polarization in hexaferrites, which leads to quantum paraelectricity and quantum electric-dipole liquid in M-type hexaferrites.

Efficient SIMD optimization for media processors

Single instruction multiple data （SIMD） instructions are often implemented in modem media processors. Although SIMD instructions are useful in multimedia applications, most compilers do not have good support for SIMD instructions. This paper focuses on SIMD instructions generation for media processors. We present an efficient code optimization approach that is integrated into a retargetable C compiler. SIMD instructions are generated by finding and combining the same operations in programs. Experimental results for the UltraSPARC VIS instruction set show that a speedup factor up to 2.639 is obtained.
