Polymer flooding is an effective method widely applied for enhancing oil recovery (EOR) by reducing the mobility ratio between the injected water and crude oil. However, traditional polymers encounter challenges in high salinity reservoirs due to their salt sensitivity. To overcome this challenge, we synthesized a zwitterion polymer (PAMNS) with salt-induced tackifying property through copolymerization of acrylamide and a zwitterion monomer, methylacrylamide propyl-N, N-dimethylbutylsulfonate (NS). NS monomer is obtained from the reaction between 1,4-butanesultone and dimethylamino propyl methylacrylamide. In this study, the rheological properties, salt responsiveness, and EOR efficiency of PAMNS were evaluated. Results demonstrate that PAMNS exhibits desirable salt-induced tackifying characteristics, with viscosity increasing up to 2.4 times as the NaCl concentration reaches a salinity of 30 x 10(4) mg L-1. Furthermore, high valence ions possess a much stronger effect on enhancing viscosity, manifested as Mg2+ > Ca2+ > Na+. Molecular dynamics simulations (MD) and fluid dynamics experiment results demonstrate that PAMNS molecules exhibit a more stretched state and enhanced intermolecular associations in high-salinity environments. It is because of the salt-induced tackifying, PAMNS demonstrates superior performance in polymer flooding experiments under salinity ranges from 5 x 10(4) mg L-1 to 20 x 10(4) mg L-1, leading to 10.38-19.83% higher EOR than traditional polymers. Mercury ion(Hg^(2+)),as one of the most toxic heavy metal ions,accumulates easily in the environment,which can generate potential hazards to the ecosystem and human *** effectively detect and remove Hg^(2+),we fabricated four types of carbon dots(CDs)using carboxymethyl nanocellulose as a carbon source doped with different elements using a hydrothermal *** the CDs exhibited a strong fluorescence emission,excitation-dependent emission and possessed good water ***,the four fluorescent CDs were used for Hg^(2+)recognition in aqueous solution,where the CDs-N exhibited better sensitivity and selectivity for Hg^(2+)detection,with a low limit of detection of 8.29×10^(-6)mol/*** was determined that the fluorescence quenching could be ascribed to a photoinduced charge-transfer processes between Hg^(2+)and the *** addition,the CDs-N were used as a smart invisible ink for anticounterfeiting,information encryption and ***,the CDs-N were immersed into a cellulose(CMC)-based hydrogel network to prepare fluorescent hydrogels capable of simultaneously detecting and adsorbing Hg^(2+).We anticipate that this research will open possibilities for a green method to synthesize fluorescent CDs for metal ion detection and fluorescent ink production.

In view of the problems in operation process of fixed rake-type residual recycling component,such as poor individual profiling effect in film picking,easy clogging of the compound of films,soil and corn stubbles,high power consumption in film picking,and strong disturbance to seedbed soil,in this study,an operation model of intermittent filmpicking on full-film mulched double ditches was proposed and an intermittent film picking component was *** DEMMBD coupled algorithm was adopted for numerical simulation on the operation process of the intermittent film-picking component on full-film mulched double ditches,and a comparative analysis was carried out on the seedbed disturbance effect and resistance variation characteristics in film-picking by fixed and intermittent film-picking *** taking the forward speed in film-picking,cam arrangement angle of the film-picking component and rotating speed of the cam shaft as independent variables,film-picking rate as the response value,a mathematical model between test factors and the film-picking rate was established,to explore the influence order of the factors on film-picking rate,and the optimal working parameters of the intermittent film-picking component were obtained as follows:the forward speed in film-picking was 2 km/h,cam arrangement angle was 180°,rotating speed of the cam shaft was 120 r/*** the optimal parameter combination,the average film-picking rate of the simulation test was 96.1%.Field test showed that,the average film-picking rate of the intermittent film-picking component was 95.6%,and 0.5%higher than that of the simulation *** working condition of the sample machine was basically consistent with the simulation process,and can accurately represent the operation mechanism of intermittent film-picking on full-film mulched double ditches,showing that the established discrete element simulation model and its parameters were accurate and reasonable.

The safety assessment of high-level radioactive waste repositories requires a high predictive accuracy for radionuclide diffusion and a comprehensive understanding of the diffusion *** this study,a through-diffusion method and six machine-learning methods were employed to investigate the diffusion of ReO_(4)^(−),HCrO_(4)^(−),and I−in saturated compacted bentonite under different salinities and compacted dry *** machine-learning models were trained using two *** dataset contained six input features and 293 instances obtained from the diffusion database system of the Japan Atomic Energy Agency(JAEA-DDB)and 15 *** other dataset,comprising 15,000 pseudo-instances,was produced using a multi-porosity model and contained eight input *** results indicate that the former dataset yielded a higher predictive accuracy than the *** gradient-boosting exhibited a higher prediction accuracy(R2=0.92)and lower error(MSE=0.01)than the other machine-learning *** addition,Shapley Additive Explanations,Feature Importance,and Partial Dependence Plot analysis results indicate that the rock capacity factor and compacted dry density had the two most significant effects on predicting the effective diffusion coefficient,thereby offering valuable insights.

As a highly invasive malignancy,esophageal cancer(EC)is a global health issue,and was the eighth most prevalent cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancerrelated death worldwide in *** to its highly immunogenic nature,emerging immunotherapy approaches,such as immune checkpoint blockade,have demonstrated promising efficacy in treating EC;however,certain limitations and challenges still *** addition,tumors may exhibit primary or acquired resistance to immunotherapy in the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME);thus,understanding the TIME is urgent and crucial,especially given the importance of an immunosuppressive microenvironment in tumor *** aim of this review was to better elucidate the mechanisms of the suppressive TIME,including cell infiltration,immune cell subsets,cytokines and signaling pathways in the tumor microenvironment of EC patients,as well as the downregulated expression of major histocompatibility complex molecules in tumor cells,to obtain a better understanding of the differences in EC patient responses to immunotherapeutic strategies and accurately predict the efficacy of ***,personalized treatments could be developed to maximize the advantages of immunotherapy.

The skyrmion generator is one of the indispensable components for the future functional skyrmion devices,but the process of generating skyrmion cannot avoid mixing with other magnetic textures,such as skyrmionium and nested skyrmion *** mixed magnetic textures will inevitably lead to the blockage of skyrmion transport and even the distortion of data ***,the design of an efficient skyrmion filter is of great significance for the development of skyrmion-based spintronic *** this work,a skyrmion filter scheme is proposed,and the high-efficiency filtering function is demonstrated by micromagnetic *** results show that the filtering effect of the scheme depends on the structure geometry and the spin current density that drives the *** on this scheme,the polarity of the filtered skyrmion can be controlled by switching the magnetization state at the output end,and the“cloning”of the skyrmion can be realized by geometric optimization of the *** believe that in the near future,the skyrmion filter will become one of the important components of skyrmion-based spintronic devices in the future.

The Lower Cambrian shale gas in the western Hubei area,South China has a great resource prospect,but the gas-in-place(GIP)content in different sedimentary facies varies widely,and the relevant mechanism has been not well *** the present study,two sets of the Lower Cambrian shale samples from the Wells YD4 and YD5 in the western Hubei area,representing the deep-water shelf facies and shallowwater platform facies,respectively,were investigated on the differences of pore types,pore structure and methane adsorption capacity between them,and the main controlling factor and mechanism of their methane adsorption capacities and GIP contents were *** results show that the organic matter(OM)pores in the YD4 shale samples are dominant,while the inorganic mineral(IM)pores in the YD5 shale samples are primary,with underdeveloped OM *** pore specific surface area(SSA)and pore volume(PV)of the YD4 shale samples are mainly from micropores and mesopores,respectively,while those of the YD5 shale samples are mainly from micropores and macropores,*** methane adsorption capacity of the YD4 shale samples is significantly higher than that of the YD5 shale samples,with a maximum absolute adsorption capacity of 3.13 cm^(3)/g and 1.31 cm^(3)/g in average,*** with the shallow-water platform shale,the deep-water shelf shale has a higher TOC content,a better kerogen type and more developed OM pores,which is the main mechanism for its higher adsorption *** GIP content models based on two samples with a similar TOC content selected respectively from the Wells YD4 and YD5 further indicate that the GIP content of the deep-water shelf shale is mainly 34 m^(3)/t within a depth range of 1000—4000 m,with shale gas exploration and development potential,while the shallow-water platform shale has normally a GIP content of<1 m^(3)/t,with little shale gas *** the geological and geochemical conditions of shale gas formation a
