Aflatoxin B1 decreased flesh flavor and inhibited muscle development in grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)

In nature, aflatoxins, especially aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), are the common mycotoxins, which cause serious health problems for humans and animals. This paper aimed to study the effects of AFB1 on flesh flavor and muscle development of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) and its mechanism. There were 1440 individual fish in total, with 6 treatments and each treatment replicated 3 times. The 6 treatments were fed a control diet with different doses of AFB1 (0.04, 29.48, 58.66, 85.94, 110.43 and 146.92 mu g/kg diet) for 60 d. AFB1 increased myofiber diameter, as well as decreased myofiber density of grass carp muscle (P dant enzyme (glutathione peroxidase, glutathione, glutathione reductase, total antioxidant capacity, anti-superoxide anion, and anti-hydroxyl radical) were decreased (P < 0.05) with the dietary AFB1 increased. In addition, dietary AFB1 decreased the content of collagen, and downregulated the mRNA and protein levels of transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta)/Smads signaling pathway in grass carp muscle (P < 0.05). The mRNA and protein levels of myogenic regulatory factors were downregulated in grass carp muscle (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the activities of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) were increased (P < 0.05), and the protein levels of phosphorylate-38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p-p38MAPK), phosphorylate-c-Jun N-terminal kinase, urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA), MMP-2 and MMP-9 were upregulated (P < 0.05), but collagen I, laminin beta 1 and fibronectin were downregulated (P < 0.05) with the dietary AFB1 increased in the muscle of grass carp. Constructing three dimensional(3D)covalent organic frameworks(COFs)through the entanglement of two dimensional(2D)nets is a promising but underdeveloped ***,we report the design and synthesis of a fluorine functionalized 3DCOF(3D-An-COF-F)formed by entangled 2D sql *** structure of 3D-An-COF-F was determined by the combination of continuous rotation electron diffraction technique and modelling based on the chemical information from real ***,compared to the isostructural 3D-An-COF without F atom s,3dan-COF-F showed an improved CO_(2)sorption ability and higher CO_(2)/N_(2)*** study not only demonstrated the generality of constructing 3D COFs with entangled 2D nets by introducing bulky groups vertically in planar building blocks,but also will expand the diversity of 3D COFs for various applications.

Frequency and associated factors of accommodation and non-strabismic binocular vision dysfunction among medical university students

AIM:To investigate the frequency and associated factors of accommodation and non-strabismic binocular vision dysfunction among medical university ***:Totally 158 student volunteers underwent routine vision examination in the optometry clinic of Guangxi Medical *** data were used to identify the different types of accommodation and nonstrabismic binocular vision dysfunction and to determine their *** analysis and logistic regression were used to examine the factors associated with these ***:The results showed that 36.71%of the subjects had accommodation and non-strabismic binocular vision issues,with 8.86%being attributed to accommodation dysfunction and 27.85%to binocular *** insufficiency(CI)was the most common abnormality,accounting for 13.29%.Those with these abnormalities experienced higher levels of eyestrain(χ2=69.518,P<0.001).The linear correlations were observed between the difference of binocular spherical equivalent(SE)and the index of horizontal esotropia at a distance(r=0.231,P=0.004)and the asthenopia survey scale(ASS)score(r=0.346,P<0.001).Furthermore,the right eye's SE was inversely correlated with the convergence of positive and negative fusion images at close range(r=-0.321,P<0.001),the convergence of negative fusion images at close range(r=-0.294,P<0.001),the vergence facility(VF;r=-0.234,P=0.003),and the set of negative fusion images at far range(r=-0.237,P=0.003).Logistic regression analysis indicated that gender,age,and the difference in right and binocular SE did not influence the emergence of these ***:Binocular vision abnormalities are more prevalent than accommodation dysfunction,with CI being the most frequent *** binocular refractive disparity leads to more severe eyestrain symptoms.

基于中国西部的11个省份的乡镇层面面板数据,探析了农村交通基础设施对农村居民人均纯收入的非线性影响及其作用机制。研究发现,农村交通基础设施对农村居民人均纯收入具有显著的三重门槛效应,以有效路网密度衡量的门槛值分别为7.099、20.247和30.569。在各门槛区间内,有效路网密度对农村居民人均纯收入及其两大主要构成——农村居民人均工资性收入和人均家庭经营纯收入的弹性符号为正,并依序呈现出"U"型、非线性减小和非线性增加的趋势。研究表明:提升农村交通基础设施存量对农村居民人均纯收入及其两大主要构成均具有非线性正向促进作用,相较而言,更有利于农村居民家庭经营纯收入的增长,这有助于缓解农民贫困与农村空巢化问题。

Objective:A novel technique was explored using an airbag-selective portal vein blood arrester that circumvents the need for an intraoperative assessment of anatomical variations in patients with complex intrahepatic space-occupying ***:Rabbits undergoing hepatectomy were randomly assigned to 4 groups:intermittent portal triad clamping(PTC),intermittent portal vein clamping(PVC),intermittent portal vein blocker with an airbag-selective portal vein blood arrester(APC),and without portal blood occlusion(control).Hepatic ischemia and reperfusion injury were assessed by measuring the 7-day survival rate,blood loss,liver function,hepatic pathology,hepatic inflammatory cytokine infiltration,hepatic malondialdehyde levels,and proliferating cell nuclear antigen ***:Liver damage was substantially reduced in the APC and PVC *** APC animals exhibited transaminase levels similar to or less oxidative stress damage and inflammatory hepatocellular injury compared to those exhibited by the PVC *** was significantly higher in the control group than in the other *** APC group had less bleeding than the PVC group because of the avoidance of portal vein skeletonization during ***,more operative time was saved in the APC group than in the PVC ***,the total 7-day survival rate in the APC group was higher than that in the PTC ***:Airbag-selective portal vein blood arresters may help protect against hepatic ischemia and reperfusion injury in rabbits undergoing partial *** technique may also help prevent liver damage in patients requiring hepatectomy.

Objective Viral encephalitis is an infectious disease severely affecting human *** is caused by a wide variety of viral pathogens,including herpes viruses,flaviviruses,enteroviruses,and other *** laboratory diagnosis of viral encephalitis is a worldwide ***,high-throughput sequencing technology has provided new tools for diagnosing central nervous system ***,In this study,we established a multipathogen detection platform for viral encephalitis based on amplicon *** We designed nine pairs of specific polymerase chain reaction(PCR)primers for the 12 viruses by reviewing the relevant *** detection ability of the primers was verified by software simulation and the detection of known positive *** sequencing was used to validate the samples,and consistency was compared with Sanger *** The results showed that the target sequences of various pathogens were obtained at a coverage depth level greater than 20×,and the sequence lengths were consistent with the sizes of the predicted *** sequences were verified using the National Center for Biotechnology Information BLAST,and all results were consistent with the results of Sanger *** Amplicon-based high-throughput sequencing technology is feasible as a supplementary method for the pathogenic detection of viral *** is also a useful tool for the high-volume screening of clinical samples.

Rapid analysis of Chinese steamed bread staling using Raman Spectroscopy

Staling is an important issue that Chinese steamed bread(CSB)may encounter during storage,which significantly affects their taste,flavor,and nutritional *** monitoring technology for rapid aging is particularly important to effectively control the aging process of CSB,reduce quality deterioration,and promote the industrial production of *** spectroscopy has been widely used in the study of food structure and properties due to its non-destructive and high-sensitivity characteristics,particularly demonstrating unique advantages in the analysis of starch *** study explored the possibility of analyzing the staling of CSB using Raman spectroscopy based on hardness and moisture *** of the correlation between the hardness of CSB and the full width at half maximum(FWHM)at 480 cm^(−1)during storage was conducted,and a significant positive correlation between them was found,with R^(2)above ***,nine characteristic peaks of CSB samples related to starch were selected for *** the moisture content of CSB decreased,the peak intensities and areas of showed an upward trend during storage,with the best correlation coefficient above 0.8 revealed by linear regression ***,Raman spectra could be used as a potential method for the fast prediction of CSB staling.

Changes of Terrestrial Water Storage in the Yellow River Basin Under Global Warming

The increasing temperature in the Yellow River Basin has led to a rapid rise in the melting level height,at a rate of 5.98 m yr^(-1)during the cold season,which further contributes to the transition from snowfall to rainfall *** 1979 and 2020,there has been a decrease in snowfall in the Yellow River Basin at a rate of-3.03 mm dec^(-1),while rainfall has been increasing at a rate of 1.00 mm dec^(-1).Consequently,the snowfall-to-rainfall ratio(SRR)has *** directly replenishes terrestrial water storage(TWS)in solid form until it melts,while rainfall is rapidly lost through runoff and evaporation,in addition to infiltrating underground or remaining on the ***,the decreasing SRR accelerates the depletion of water *** to the surface water balance equation,the reduction in precipitation and runoff,along with an increase in evaporation,results in a decrease in TWS during the cold season within the Yellow River *** addition to climate change,human activities,considering the region's dense population and extensive agricultural land,also accelerate the decline of ***,irrigation accounts for the largest proportion of water withdrawals in the Yellow River Basin(71.8%)and primarily occurs during the warm season(especially from June to August).The impact of human activities and climate change on the water cycle requires further in-depth research.

数字经济时代,数字化转型已成为企业高质量发展的重要路径。利用“国家级大数据综合试验区”构建准自然实验,基于2001-2021年我国A股上市公司数据,借助Python爬虫技术和文本分析法构建企业数字化转型衡量指标。从理论逻辑和经验证据两个层面考察大数据综合试验区试点对企业数字化转型的政策效应。研究发现:第一,大数据综合试验区政策试点有效促进了企业数字化转型进程,经稳健性检验研究结论依旧成立。第二,机制分析表明,大数据综合实验区试点政策通过人力资本与技术资本效应促进企业数字化转型。第三,异质性分析发现,这一促进效应在不同产权性质、行业类别及金融市场环境存在显著差异。具体而言,大数据综合试验区政策试点对民营企业数字化转型存在正向激励作用,对推动传统行业数字化转型产生明显偏好,发达的金融市场环境为高质量释放政策驱动效能提供重要助益。
