Reduction behavior of iron ore powder by high-volatile coal in thermogravimetric-gas chromatographic and kinetic analysis

The reduction behavior of iron ore powder by high-volatile coal was investigated,and its kinetic mechanism was *** effect of volatiles in coal on the reduction reaction of iron ore was compared by utilizing a Xinjiang lignite with a high volatile content and its pyrolysis carbon produced by high-temperature pyrolysis to remove volatiles,serving as a *** mass loss and gas composition of the samples during the reduction process were detected using thermo-gravimetric analysis and gas chromatography,and the morphological changes of iron ore powder were observed through scanning electron *** kinetic parameters of the iron oxide reduction reaction were calculated by the Flynn-Ozawa-Wall method,and the kinetic mechanism of volatile participation in the iron oxide reduction reaction was determined through the Coats-Redfern *** results indicate that the coupling effect between the high-volatile coal pyrolysis and reduction reactions occurs during the second stage of the entire coupling process,which corresponds to the late stage of coal pyrolysis with a substantial release of H_(2)and *** volatiles in coal actively participated in the reduction reaction,reducing the initiation temperature of the reaction by around 200℃.The reduction of iron oxides by high-volatile coal was jointly promoted by the"hydrogen cycle"and"carbon cycle",resulting in a higher reduction extent and metallization rate at the end of the *** high-volatile coal was used as the reductant,the average activation energy for the entire process was 76.5 kJ/mol,a significant decrease compared to the employment of pyrolysis carbon without volatiles as the reductant(1167 kJ/mol).

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries（AZIBs） have emerged as potential candidates for Li-ion batteries due to their intrinsic safety and high ***,metallic Zn anodes encounter dendrite growth and water-induced corrosion,rendering poor stability and severe irreversibility at the electrode/electrolyte interface during *** stabilize the Zn anode,we report a low-cost and effective nonionic surfactant,Tween-20 polymer,as an electrolyte additive for *** Tween-20,sequential oxyethylene groups tended to be preferentially adsorbed on the Zn electrode to form a shielding layer for regulating uniform Zn ***,the hydrophobic hendecyl chains prevented H2O-induced corrosion on the Zn anode *** from the desired functional groups,when only trace amounts of Tween-20(0.050 g·L-1) were used,the Zn anode displayed good cycling stability over 2170 h at10 mA·cm-2and a high average Coulombic efficiency of98.94% over 1000 *** Tween-20 polymer can also be effectively employed in MnO2/Zn full *** their toxicity,price and amount of usage,these surfactant additives provide a promising strategy for realizing the stability and reversibility of high-performance Zn anodes.

The centrosymmetric to non-centrosymmetric transformation induced by alkaline-earth cations producing infrared nonlinear optical AeMn6Ga6S16（Ae = Ca, Sr）

Non-centrosymmetric（NCS） structure is an indispensable prerequisite for second-order nonlinear optical（NLO） ***, the mainstream approach for designing new NCS structures still relies on chemical substitution, necessitating an urgent infusion of fresh ideas. In this work, two isomorphic sulfides AeMn6Ga6S16（Ae = Ca, 1; Sr, 2） are afforded by modifying the skeleton of centrosymmetric（CS） Mn2Ga2S5via introducing strong electropositive alkaline-earth cations. Concretely, the incorporation of Ca2+/Sr2+cations allows the elementary [MnGaS9]∞chains to reconfigure into bumpy [MnS6]-[GaS4] layers in a new engagement manner, thus enabling the conversion from CS to NCS structure. Such modifications cause not only strong second-harmonic generation（SHG） responses（～1.5 × benchmark AgGaS2@1,700 nm）, but also significantly feasible bandgaps（2.60–2.64 e V） compared to the sulfide Mn2Ga2S5（1.36 e V）, which ultimately facilitate ultrahigh laser-induced damage thresholds（4.4–6.6 × AgGaS2@1,064 nm for compounds 1 and 2）. The present study offers an ingenious approach for the transformation of CS to NCS structure.

High-temperature oxidation resistance of Si-coated C/SiC composites

In this paper, Si coatings were sprayed onto C/Si C composite substrates by atmospheric plasma spraying(APS). The high-temperature oxidation behavior of the substrate and coating at temperatures of 1100 and 1300 °C was also studied. The C/Si C ceramic matrix composite will be damaged seriously and even failed due to the oxidation of carbon fibers in matrix. The Si coating effectively improved the oxidation resistance of the C/Si C substrate in the high-temperature oxidation test. The effect of the thickness of the Si coatings on the oxidation resistance was investigated. The 150-μm coating is proved to enable the substrate to have the lowest oxidation weight loss and the best oxidation resistance after static oxidation for 5 h.

Thermodynamic and experimental study of high-temperature roasting of blast furnace gas ash for recovery of metallic zinc and iron

A high-temperature reduction roasting method was used to achieve metallic iron and zinc recovery from blast furnace gas ash(BFA).The reduction processes for Zn-containing and Fe-containing oxides were analyzed in detail by using ther-modynamic equilibrium calculation and the principle of minimum free *** results showed that the main reaction in the system is the reduction of ZnFe_(2)_(4)and iron *** the full temperature range,iron oxides were more easily reduced than zinc *** of the amount of CO contained in the system,the reduction of ZnO to Zn was difficult to proceed below the boiling point(906℃)of *** the reduction temperature is below 906℃,the reduction process of zinc ferrate was ZnFe_(2)_(4)→ZnO;when the reduction temperature is above 906℃,its reduction process becomed ZnFe_(2)_(4)→ZnO→Zn(g).The metallization and dezincification rates of the BFA gradually increased with increasing reaction *** the C/O ratio increased,the metallization and dezincification rates first increased and then *** effect of reduction time on BFA reduction was similar to that of reaction temperature.

A Dual-Task Learning Approach for Bearing Anomaly Detection and State Evaluation of Safe Region

Predictive maintenance has emerged as an effective tool for curbin. maintenance costs,yet prevailing research predominantly concentrates on the abnormal *** the ostensibly stable healthy phase,the reliance on anomaly detection to preempt equipment malfunctions faces the challenge of sudden anomaly *** address this challenge,this paper proposes a dual-task learning approach for bearing anomaly detection and state evaluation of safe *** proposed method transforms the execution of the two tasks into an optimization issue of the hypersphere *** leveraging the monotonicity and distinguishability pertinent to the tasks as the foundation for optimization,it reconstructs the SVDD model to ensure equilibrium in the model’s performance across the two *** experiments verify the proposed method’s effectiveness,which is interpreted from the perspectives of parameter adjustment and enveloping *** the meantime,experimental results also show two deficiencies in anomaly detection accuracy and state evaluation *** theoretical analysis inspires us to focus on feature extraction and data collection to achieve *** proposed method lays the foundation for realizing predictive maintenance in a healthy stage by improving condition awareness in safe regions.

BACKGROUND Anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)-positive large B-cell lymphoma(LBCL)is an aggressive and rare variant of diffuse ***,we report an uncommon case of stage IE extranodal ALK-positive LBCL initially originating in the bulbar *** SUMMARY A 63-year-old woman presented with a mass in the left bulbar conjunctiva that had persisted for six months,accompanied by swelling and pain that had per-sisted for 3 *** examination revealed an 8 mm slightly elevated pink mass in the lower conjunctival sac of the left ***,the tumor was com-posed of large immunoblastic and plasmablastic large lymphoid cells with scattered anaplastic or multinucleated large ***,the neoplastic cells were positive for ALK,CD10,CD138,Kappa,MUM1,BOB.1,OCT-2,CD4,CD45,EMA,CD79a,CD38,and AE1/AE3,and negative for CD20,PAX5,Lambda,BCL6,CD30 and all other T-cell *** results of gene rearrangement tests showed monoclonal IGH/IGK/IGL and TCRD *** in situ hybridization studies did not reveal any BCL2,BCL6 or MYC ***,Epstein-Barr virus was not detected by in situ hybridization in the *** on the histopathological and imaging examinations,the neoplasm was classified as stage IE ALK-positive *** further treatments were *** the 6,15,and 21 mo postoperative follow-up visits,the patient was in good condition,without obvious *** case represents the first example of primary extranodal ALK-positive LBCL presenting as a bulbar conjunctival mass,which is extremely rare and shares morphological and immunohistochemical features with a variety of other neo-plasms that can result in *** Awareness of the condition presented in this case report is necessary for early and accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Quercetin Alleviates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Cardiac Inflammation via Inhibiting Autophagy and Programmed Cell Death

Objective The aim of this study is to explore the potential modulatory role of quercetin against Endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide(LPS)induced septic cardiac *** Specific pathogen-free chicken embryos(n=120)were allocated untreated control,phosphate buffer solution(PBS)vehicle,PBS with ethanol vehicle,LPS(500 ng/egg),LPS with quercetin treatment(10,20,or 40 nmol/egg,respectively),Quercetin groups(10,20,or 40 nmol/egg).Fifteenday-old embryonated eggs were inoculated with abovementioned solutions via the allantoic *** embryonic day 19,the hearts of the embryos were collected for histopathological examination,RNA extraction,real-time polymerase chain reaction,immunohistochemical investigations,and Western *** They demonstrated that the heart presented inflammatory responses after LPS *** LPS-induced higher mRNA expressions of inflammation-related factors(TLR4,TNFα,MYD88,NF-κB1,IFNγ,IL-1β,IL-8,IL-6,IL-10,p38,MMP3,and MMP9)were blocked by quercetin with three *** significantly decreased immunopositivity to TLR4 and MMP9 in the treatment group when compared with the LPS *** significantly decreased protein expressions of TLR4,IFNγ,MMP3,and MMP9 when compared with the LPS *** treatment prevented LPS-induced increase in the mRNA expression of Claudin 1 and ZO-1,and significantly decreased protein expression of claudin 1 when compared with the LPS *** significantly downregulated autophagyrelated gene expressions(PPARα,SGLT1,APOA4,AMPKα1,AMPKα2,ATG5,ATG7,Beclin-1,and LC3B)and programmed cell death(Fas,Bcl-2,CASP1,CASP12,CASP3,and RIPK1)after LPS *** significantly decreased immunopositivity to APOA4,AMPKα2,and LC3-II/LC3-I in the treatment group when compared with the LPS *** significantly decreased protein expressions of AMPKα1,LC3-I,and *** significantly decreased the protein expression to CASP1 and CASP3 by immunohistochemical investigation or
