Nitrosamines are a class of carcinogens which have been detected widely in food,water,some pharmaceuticals as well as *** objectives of this paper include reviewing the basic information on tobacco consumption and nitrosamine contents,and assessing the health risks of tobacco nitrosamines exposure to Chinese *** searched the publications in English from“Web of Science”and those in Chinese from the“China National Knowledge Infrastructure”in 2022 and collected 151 literatures with valid *** content of main nitrosamines in tobacco,including 4-(methylnitrosoamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone(NNK),N-nitrosonornicotine(NNN),N-nitrosoanatabine(NAT),N-nitrosoanabasine(NAB),total tobacco-specific nitrosamines(TSNA),and N-nitrosodimethylamine(NDMA)were *** information of daily tobacco consumption of smokers in 30 provinces of China was also ***,the intakes of NNN,NNK,NAT,NAB,TSNAs,and NDMA via tobacco smoke were estimated as 1534ng/day,591 ng/day,685 ng/day,81 ng/day,2543 ng/day,and 484 ng/day by adult smokers in30 provinces,*** cancer risk(CR)values for NNN and NNK inhalation intake were further calculated as 1.44×10^(-5)and 1.95×10^(-4).The CR value for NDMA intake via tobacco smoke(inhalation:1.66×10^(-4))indicates that NDMA is similarly dangerous in tobacco smoke when compared with the *** China,the CR values caused by average nitrosamines intake via various exposures and their order can be estimated as the following:smoke(3.75×10^(-4))>food(1.74×10^(-4))>drinking water(1.38×10^(-5)).Smokers in China averagely suffer 200%of extra cancer risk caused by nitrosamines in tobacco when compared with non-smokers.

Polyurethane/desulfurization ash(PU/DA)composites were synthesized using"one-pot method",with the incorporation of a silane coupling agent(KH550)as a"molecular bridge"to facilitate the integration of DA as hard segments into the PU molecular *** effects of DA content(φ)on the mechanical properties,thermal stability,and hydrophobicity of PU,both before and after the addition of KH550,were thoroughly *** results of microscopic mechanism analysis confirmed that KH550 chemically modified the surface of DA,facilitating its incorporation into the polyurethane molecular chain,thereby significantly enhancing the compatibility and dispersion of DA within the PU *** the mass fraction of modified DA(MDA)reached 12%,the mechanical properties,thermal stability,and hydrophobicity of the composites were substantially improved,with the tensile strength reaching 14.9 MPa,and the contact angle measuring 100.6°.

Melamine is one of the most frequently detected adulterants in dairy *** current study proposes a surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)-based analytical tool for fast and reliable screening of melamine in bovine milk.A hand-held Raman spectrometer was used in conjunction with a substrate composed of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)that was 2D printed onto glass fiber(GF)filter *** optimized conditions,a sensitive and fingerprint-like signal at 674 cm^(-1) was *** AgNPs/GF substrate exhibited high sensitivity to melamine in milk down to 1.9498×10^(-5)mg/mL,which is well below the USA and EU safety limits(2.5×10^(-3)mg/mL).Remarkably,the proposed technology was also highly reproducible,showing spot-to-spot and block-to-block variations below 3.3%and 4.9%at 674 cm^(-1) in Raman intensity,*** characteristic peak intensity and concentration of melamine showed an acceptable linear relationship(R^(2)=0.9909)within the range of 0.0001-1 mg/***,the method established in this study can provide an efficient and effective method for the quantitative target screening and detection of melamine in dairy products.

A three-dimensional Large Eddy Simulation (LES) has been performed ofhydrodynamic behavior of turbulent flow in open channel that the lower part of the domain isoccupied by a drag force layer to represent vegetation. One equation model is used to closing theresolvable scale equations. The turbulent characteristic length is parameterized by a k-l model. Aphenomenal model is employed to express the performance of vegetation in the open channel. Theresult reveals that the present model has the capacity of describing three-dimensional structure oflarge eddy appearing in turbulent flow in open channel with vegetation region and has the capacityof tracing the development of large eddies.
