Patients with complete spinal cord injury retain the potential for volitional muscle activity in muscles located below the spinal injury ***,because of prolonged inactivity,initial attempts to activate these muscles may not effectively engage any of the remaining neurons in the descending pathway.A previous study unexpectedly found that a brief clinical round of passive activity significantly increased volitional muscle activation,as measured by surface *** this study,we further explored the effect of passive activity on surface electromyographic signals during volitional control tasks among individuals with complete spinal cord *** patients with chronic complete thoracic spinal cord injury were *** electromyography data from eight major leg muscles were acquired and compared before and after the passive activity *** results indicated that the passive activity led to an increased number of activated volitional muscles and an increased frequency of *** the cumulative root mean square of surface electromyography amplitude for volitional control of movement showed a slight increase after passive activity,the difference was not statistically *** findings suggest that brief passive activity may enhance the ability to initiate volitional muscle activity during surface electromyography tasks and underscore the potential of passive activity for improving residual motor control among patients with motor complete spinal cord injury.

Mononuclear macrophage infiltration in the central nervous system is a prominent feature of neuroinflammation. Recent studies on the pathogenesis and progression of multiple sclerosis have highlighted the multiple roles of mononuclear macrophages in the neuroinflammatory process. Monocytes play a significant role in neuroinflammation, and managing neuroinflammation by manipulating peripheral monocytes stands out as an effective strategy for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, leading to improved patient outcomes. This review outlines the steps involved in the entry of myeloid monocytes into the central nervous system that are targets for effective intervention: the activation of bone marrow hematopoiesis, migration of monocytes in the blood, and penetration of the blood–brain barrier by monocytes. Finally, we summarize the different monocyte subpopulations and their effects on the central nervous system based on phenotypic differences. As activated microglia resemble monocyte-derived macrophages, it is important to accurately identify the role of monocyte-derived macrophages in disease. Depending on the roles played by monocyte-derived macrophages at different stages of the disease, several of these processes can be interrupted to limit neuroinflammation and improve patient prognosis. Here, we discuss possible strategies to target monocytes in neurological diseases, focusing on three key aspects of monocyte infiltration into the central nervous system, to provide new ideas for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

The detection of small targets poses a significant challenge for infrared search and tracking (IRST) systems,as they must strike a delicate balance between accuracy and *** this paper,we propose a detection algorithm based on spatial attention density peaks searching (SADPS) and an adaptive window selection ***,the difference-of-Gaussians (DoG) filter is introduced for preprocessing raw infrared ***,the image is processed by ***,an adaptive window selection scheme is applied to obtain window templates for the target scale ***,the small target feature is used to enhance the target and suppress the ***,the true targets are segmented through a *** experimental results show that compared with the seven state-of-the-art small targets detection baseline algorithms,the proposed method not only has better detection accuracy,but also has reasonable time consumption.

The varying population density leads to imbalanced utilization rate of satellites. To ensure an intelligent engineering of traffic over satellite networks, a distributed routing scheme for single-layered satellite network, load balancing routing protocol based on mobile agent （LBRP-MA） is proposed. For LBRP-MA, mobile agents explore route by migrating autonomously. Upon arriving at destination, mobile agents migrate back. On each intermediate satellite, mobile agents evaluate path cost considering satellite geographical position as well as inter-satellite link （ISL） cost, and finally take ISL congestion index into account to update routing tables. Through simulations on the Courier-like constellation, the proposed approach is shown to achieve guaranteed end-to-end delay bound and decrease packet loss ratio with better throughput, which is especially suitable for data transferring in case of high traffic load. Moreover, results of the complexity analysis demonstrate that LBRP-MA can have low onboard signaling, storage and computation requirements. Furthermore, issues of LBRP-MA such as ISL congestion index and cost modification factor are discussed.

The pathogenesis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM)is very complicated,particularly regarding the role of circular RNA(circRNA).This research pays special attention to the relationships of the circRNA-mediated network,including RNA-RNA relationships and RNA-RNA binding protein(RNA-RBP)*** use the parameter framework technology proposed in this paper to screen differentially expressed circRNA,messenger RNA(mRNA),and microRNA(miRNA)from the expression profile of samples related to *** 31 pairs of circRNA and mRNA relationship pairs were extracted,combined with the miRNA targeting database;145 miRNA-mRNA relationship pairs were extracted;268 circRNA-mRNA-miRNA triads were established through the common mRNA in the 2 types of relationship ***,268 circRNA-miRNA regulatory relationships were deduced and 30 circRNARBP relationship pairs were analyzed at the protein *** this basis,a circRNA-mediated regulatory network corresponding to the two levels of RNA-RNA and RNA-RBP was *** then the roles of circRNA in HCM were analyzed through circRNA-mRNA,circRNA-miRNA,and circRNA-RBP,and the possible role in disease development mas inferred.

To study the fuzzy and grey information in the problems of multi-attribute group decision making, the basic concepts of both fuzzy grey numbers and grey interval numbers are given firstly, then a new model of fuzzy grey multi-attribute group decision making based on the theories of fuzzy mathematics and grey system is presented. Furthermore, the grey interval relative degree and deviation degree is defined, and both the optimistic algorithm of the grey interval relational degree and the algorithm of deviation degree minimization for solving this new model are also given. Finally, a decision making example to demonstrate the feasibility and rationality of this new method is given, and the results by using these two algorithms are uniform.

As the radio communications technology widely used,wireless location technology plays a more important role in maintaining the order of the air *** concretely effective symbol calibration method with regard to Chinese DTMB signal of different frame mode is quite under research due to the multiple structure of DTMB *** this paper,we propose a Time Difference of Arrival(TDOA)-based passive location scheme using least square *** the large number of anchor nodes in wireless monitoring network,a novel algorithm is formulated to solve the None-LineOf-Sight *** derived Cramer rao Lower Bound of the localization method guides to the accuracy of the position outcome with regards to the calibration *** contrast with traditional multi-terminal location schemes,our location scheme can reduce calculation complexity and location costs abruptly.A twostep NLOS identification algorithm is *** simulation is employed to verify the well performance of the calibration method of3-4 dB superiority than normal method and also the whole localization scheme for less than 50 meters through channel of SNR lower than *** also shows that our algorithm can effectively identify NLOS path and improve positioning accuracy.
