BACKGROUND Submucosal tumor(SMT)-like early-stage gastric cancer(GC) has rarely been reported. It is difficult to consider the possibility of GC and differentiate it from other submucosal *** SUMMARY We present the case of a 50-year-old male patient with a 1.6 cm SMT-like flat elevated lesion covered by congested mucosa on the gastric angle. Magnifying endoscopy with narrow-band imaging, endoscopic biopsy, endoscopic ultrasound, and computed tomography were performed for *** submucosal dissection and gastrectomy with lymph node dissection were performed. The post-resection pathological analysis led to a final diagnosis of GC(Bormann type Ⅰ, T1bN2M0).CONCLUSION GC should be considered when detecting an SMT-like lesion in the stomach.

The basic characteristic of electric field is that the substance in the field is in operation by the *** external electric fields,there is strong distribution of electric fields on the inside and outside surfaces of cell *** virtue of the difference of the permittivity among membrane,cytoplasm and extracellular medium,there must he electric field stress on the surface of the *** goal of the study is to research the irreversible electrical breakdown (IRE) mechanism of the malignant tumor cells under steep pulsed electric field (SPEF)from the views of *** field stress of plasma membrane under steep pulsed electric field is calculated and simulated both on malignant tumor cells and on the normal *** calculation results show that,in addition to a compressive stress normal to the membrane plane,transverse traction stresses are generated in the lateral plane of the *** lateral stress will reduce the membrane tension significantly,leading to electroporation and *** the same electric field strength,the transverse traction stress on malignant cell membrane is greatly larger than the one on normal cell ***,compared with the normal cells,the malignant tumor cells are more sensitive under the steep pulsed electric ***,steep pulsed electric field can selectively destroy the malignant tumor cells,which proved the safety of treating malignant tumors by steep pulsed electric field.

Background： Catheter-directed thrombolysis （CDT） has been a mainstay in treating deep venous thrombosis （DVT）. However, the optimal dosage ofa thrombolytic agent is still controversial. The goal of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of low dosage urokinase with CDT for DVT. Methods： A retrospective analysis was perfornaed using data from a total of 427 patients with DVT treated with CDT in our single center between July 2009 and December 2012. Early efficacy of thrombolysis was assessed with a thrombus score based on daily venography. The therapeutic safety was evahmted by adverse events. A venography or duplex ultrasound was performed to assess the outcome at 6 months, 1 year and 2 years postoperatively. Results： The mean total dose of 3.34 （standard deviation [SD] 1.38） million units of urokinase was administered during a mean of 5.18 （SD 2.28） days. Prior to discharge, Grade Ⅲ （complete lysis） was achieved in 154 （36%） patients; Grade II （50-99% lysis） in 222 （52%）： and Grade I （50%~ lysis） in 51 （12%）. The major complications included one intracranial hemorrhage, one henaatochezia, five gross hematuria, and one pulmonary embolism. Moreover, no death occurred in the study. Conclusions： Treatment of low-dose catheter-directed thrombosis is an efficacious and safe therapeutic approach in patients with DVT offering good long-term outcomes and minimal complications.

Sulfonylurea herbicides have been widely used because of their low application rates, good crop sdeetivities and low mammalian toxicities. However, some sulfonylureas might persist unfavourably in the environment with residual problems. In order to look for ecologically safer and environmentally benign sulfonylureas, and on keeping the pyrimidine ring being monosubstitated, 15 novd C5-monosubstituted benzenesulfonylurea compounds were synthesized. The structures of all the compounds synthesized were confirmed by demental analysis and ^1H NMR. Preliminary herbicidal activities of these new sulfonylurea compounds were determined by ALS screening （ in vitro） and pot bioassay experiments（ in vivo）. The herbicidal results show that some novel sulfonylureas are comparable to commercial Foramsulfuron and Monosulfuron.

Through measuring the coefficient of linear expansion, the structure and properties of the li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 low expansion glass ceramics containing B2O3 are studied by JR and XRD. It is shoutn that the IR method is efficient in the study of the glass-ceramics structure. There is a " Boron abnormality" in the system which has an important influence on the properties of the glass-ceramics.

In this paper,we study a second-order accurate and linear numerical scheme for the nonlocal CahnHilliard *** scheme is established by combining a modified Crank-Nicolson approximation and the Adams-Bashforth extrapolation for the temporal discretization,and by applying the Fourier spectral collocation to the spatial *** addition,two stabilization terms in different forms are added for the sake of the numerical *** conduct a complete convergence analysis by using the higher-order consistency estimate for the numerical scheme,combined with the rough error estimate and the refined *** regarding the numerical solution as a small perturbation of the exact solution,we are able to justify the discrete?^(∞)bound of the numerical solution,as a result of the rough error ***,the refined error estimate is derived to obtain the optimal rate of convergence,following the established?∞bound of the numerical ***,the energy stability is also rigorously proved with respect to a modified *** proposed scheme can be viewed as the generalization of the second-order scheme presented in an earlier work,and the energy stability estimate has greatly improved the corresponding result therein.

The aging of operational reactors leads to increased mechanical vibrations in the reactor *** vibration of the incore sensors near their nominal locations is a new problem for neutronic field *** field-reconstruction methods fail to handle spatially moving *** this study,we propose a Voronoi tessellation technique in combination with convolutional neural networks to handle this *** from movable in-core sensors were projected onto the same global field structure using Voronoi tessellation,holding the magnitude and location information of the *** convolutional neural networks were used to learn maps from observations to the global *** proposed method reconstructed multi-physics fields(including fast flux,thermal flux,and power rate)using observations from a single field(such as thermal flux).Numerical tests based on the IAEA benchmark demonstrated the potential of the proposed method in practical engineering applications,particularly within an amplitude of 5 cm around the nominal locations,which led to average relative errors below 5% and 10% in the L_(2) and L_(∞)norms,respectively.

Interventions to improve chronic cyclosporine A nephrotoxicity through inhibiting renal cell apoptosis： a systematic review

Objective To reveal interventions for chronic cyclosporine A nephrotoxicity （CCN） and provide new targets for further studies,we analyzed all relevant studies about interventions in renal cell *** sources We collected all relevant studies about interventions for cyclosporine A （CsA）-induced renal cell apoptosis in Medline （1966 to July 2010）,Embase （1980 to July 2010） and ISI （1986 to July 2010）,evaluated their quality,extracted data following PICOS principles and synthesized the *** selection We included all relevant studies about interventions in CsA-induced renal cell apoptosis no limitation of research design and language） and excluded the duplicated articles,meeting abstracts and reviews without specific *** There were three kinds of intervention,include anti-oxidant （sulfated polysaccharides,tea polyphenols,apigenin,curcumin,spirulina,etc）,biologics （recombinant human erythropoietin （rhEPO）,a murine pan-specific transforming growth factor （TGF）-beta-neutralizing monoclonal antibody1D11,cartilage oligomeric matrix protein （COMP）-angiopoietin-1 and hepatocyte growth factor （HGF） gene）,and other drugs （spironolactone,rosiglitazone,pirfenidone and colchicine）.These interventions significantly improved the CCN,renal cell apoptosis and renal dysfunction through intervening in four apoptotic pathways in animals or protected renal cells from apoptosis induced by CsA and increased cell survival through respectively four pathways in *** There are three group interventions for *** anti-oxidant drugs can significantly improve CCN,renal cell apoptosis and renal *** drugs can improve CCN through intervening in Fas/Fas ligand or mitochondrial pathway with sufficient *** Ⅱ,nitric oxide （NO） and endoplasmic reticulum （ER） pathways will be new targets for CCN.
