BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori(***)infection is a prevalent disease encountered in military internal medicine and recognized as the main cause of dyspepsia,gastritis,and peptic ulcer,which are common diseases in military *** guidelines in China state all patients with evidence of active infection with *** are offered ***,the prevalence of *** infection and its regional distribution in the military population remain unclear,which hinders effective prevention and treatment *** the prevalence of *** infection in the military population will aid in the development of customized strategies to better manage this infectious *** To investigate the prevalence of *** infection in the Chinese military population in different geographic *** This multicenter,retrospective study included 22421 individuals from five tertiary hospitals located in north,east,southwest,and northwest cities of *** infection was identified using the urea breath test,which had been performed between January 2020 and December *** Of the 22421 military service members,7416(33.1%)were urea breath *** highest prevalence of *** was in the 30-39 years age group for military personnel,with an infection rate of 34.9%.The majority of infected subjects were younger than 40-years-old,accounting for 70.4%of the infected *** individuals serviced in Lanzhou and Chengdu showed a higher infection prevalence than those in Beijing,Nanjing,and Guangzhou,with prevalence rates of 44.3%,37.9%,29.0%,31.1%,and 32.3%,*** *** infection remains a common infectious disease among military personnel in China and has a relatively high prevalence rate in northwest China.

Existence Results for Superlinear Elliptic Equations with Nonlinear Boundary Value Conditions

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions for the following superlinear elliptic equation with nonlinear boundary value condition{-△u+u=|u|^r-2u in Ω,■u/■v=|u|^q-2u on ■Ω, where Ω■R^N, N≥3 is a bounded domain with smooth boundary. We will prove the existence results for the above equation under four different cases:(i) Both q and r are subcritical;(ii) r is critical and q is subcritical;(iii) r is subcritical and q is critical;(iv) Both q and r are critical.

Novel cued search strategy based on information gain for phased array radar

A search strategy based on the maximal information gain principle is presented for the cued search of phased array radars. First, the method for the determination of the cued search region, arrangement of beam positions, and the calculation of the prior probability distribution of each beam position is discussed. And then, two search algorithms based on information gain are proposed using Shannon entropy and Kullback-Leibler entropy, respectively. With the proposed strategy, the information gain of each beam position is predicted before the radar detection, and the observation is made in the beam position with the maximal information gain. Compared with the conventional method of sequential search and confirm search, simulation results show that the proposed search strategy can distinctly improve the search performance and save radar time resources with the same given detection probability.

BACKGROUND Pulmonary mucoepidermoid carcinoma(PMEC)is a rare malignancy that arises from minor salivary glands within the tracheobronchial *** clear cell variant of PMEC is exceptionally uncommon and presents notable diagnostic challenges,primarily attributable to its morphological similarity to other tumors containing clear *** SUMMARY A 22-year-old male,formerly in good health,came in with a two-month duration of persistent cough and production of *** imaging and bronchoscopy examinations revealed a 2 cm tumor in the distal left main bronchus,which resulted in complete atelectasis of the left *** assessment via positron emission tomography/computed tomography scans and endoscopic biopsy confirmed the primary malignant nature of the tumor,charac-terized by clear cell morphology in most of the tumor *** patient underwent a left lower lobe sleeve resection accompanied by systematic mediastinal lymph node *** pathology analysis subsequently revealed a CRTC3-MAML2 gene fusion,leading to a definitive pathological diagnosis of the clear cell variant of PMEC,staged as *** surgery,the patient experienced a smooth recovery and exhibited no signs of recurrence during the one-and-a-half-year follow-up *** This article describes an unusual case of a clear cell variant of PMEC characterized by the presence of a CRTC3-MAML2 gene fusion in a 22-year-old *** patient underwent successful left lower lobe sleeve *** case underscores the distinctive challenges associated with diagnosing and treating this uncommon malignancy,underscoring the importance of precise diagnosis and personalized treatment strategies.

Construction of S-scheme MnO_(2)@CdS heterojunction with core–shell structure as H_(2)-production photocatalyst

Artificial photosynthesis is deemed as an efficient protocol for transforming abundant solar energy into valuable fuel. In this paper, the well-defined one-dimensional(1D) core–shell MnO_(2)@CdS hybrids were constructed by employing MnO_(2) nanotubes and CdS nanoparticles as nano-building blocks via a chemical coprecipitation route. The rationally designed core–shell structure provided an intimate heterojunction interface between the CdS shell and MnO_(2) core. All the MnO_(2)@CdS core–shell nanocomposites possess higher H_(2) evolution rate through visible light irradiation contrary to pristine CdS, and the optimal MnO_(2)@CdS hybrid exhibits the utmost H_(2) evolution rate of 3.94 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1), which is2.8-fold higher compared with that of CdS. Appertaining to XPS and Mott-Schottky(M-S) analysis, such enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) generation of MnO_(2)@CdS heterojunction was ascribed to an S-scheme mechanism, which suppressed the charge recombination along with a fast detachment of electron–hole pairs(e^(-)–h^(+)) and significantly improved the severance of carriers, thus improved H_(2) evolution performance. These findings envision a new insight into the development of S-scheme heterostructure for photocatalytic H_(2) generation.

Seismogenic tectonics of the Qian-Gorlos earthquake in Jilin Province,China

The Qian-Gorlos earthquake, which occurred in the Songliao basin in Jilin Province in 1119 AD, was the largest earthquake to occur in NE China before the 1975 Haicheng earthquake. Based on historical records and surface geological investigations, it has been suggested previously that the earthquake epicenter was in the Longkeng area. However, other workers have considered the epicenter to be in the Halamaodu area based on the landslides and faults found in this region. No seismogenic structure has yet been found in either of these two *** tried to detect active faults in the urban areas of Songyuan City, where the historical earthquake was probably located. One of the aims of this work was to clarify the seismogenic structure so that the seismic risk in the city could be more accurately evaluated. The area was investigated and analyzed using information from remote sensing and topographic surveys, seismic data from petroleum exploration, shallow seismic profiles, exploratory geological trenches on fault outcrops, and borehole data. The geophysical data did not reveal any evidence of faults cutting through Cretaceous or later strata under the Longkeng scarp, which has been suggested to be structural evidence of the Qian-Gorlos earthquake. The continuous fault surfaces on the back edge of terraces in theHalamaodu area stretch for [3.5 km and were probably formed by tectonic activity. However, results from shallow seismic profiles showed that the faults did not extend downward, with the corresponding deep structure being identified as a gentle kink band. A new reverse fault was found to the west of the two suggested epicenters, which presented as a curvilinear fault extending to the west, and was formed by two groups of NE- and NW-trending faults intersecting the Gudian fault. Three-dimensional seismic and shallow seismic data from petroleum exploration revealed its distinct spatial distribution and showed that the fault may cut through Late Quaternary strata. E
