The heterogeneous variational nodal method(HVNM)has emerged as a potential approach for solving high-fidelity neutron transport ***,achieving accurate results with HVNM in large-scale problems using high-fidelity models has been challenging due to the prohibitive computational *** paper presents an efficient parallel algorithm tailored for HVNM based on the Message Passing Interface *** algorithm evenly distributes the response matrix sets among processors during the matrix formation process,thus enabling independent construction without *** the formation tasks are completed,a collective operation merges and shares the matrix sets among the *** the solution process,the problem domain is decomposed into subdomains assigned to specific processors,and the red-black Gauss-Seidel iteration is employed within each subdomain to solve the response matrix ***-to-point communication is conducted between adjacent subdomains to exchange data along the *** accuracy and efficiency of the parallel algorithm are verified using the KAIST and JRR-3 test *** results obtained with multiple processors agree well with those obtained from Monte Carlo *** parallelization of HVNM results in eigenvalue errors of 31.pcm/-90 pcm and fission rate RMS errors of 1.22%/0.66%,respectively,for the 3D KAIST problem and the 3D JRR-3 *** addition,the parallel algorithm significantly reduces computation time,with an efficiency of 68.51. using 36 processors in the KAIST problem and 77.1.% using 1.4 processors in the JRR-3 problem.

Poly-p-anisidine could be easily fabricated via the oxidative polymerization reaction of p-anisidine using H2O2as the green oxidant. It was unexpectedly found that zinc doping could significantly improve the adsorption ability of the material versus heavy metals such as Pb, Cu,Pd, Ag and Hg. Results of nitrogen adsorption–desorption experiments demonstrated that Zn doping could enhance the specific surface area and mesopore amount of the prepared material, which might facilitate its absorption to metals. This work not only provides a novel material for the treatment of heavy metal-polluted water but also leads to a nice mesoporous catalyst support for environment protection and organic synthesis, i.e. the Zn-doped poly-panisidine can be employed as the catalyst support to prepare Cu@PANI-OMe/Zn or Pd@PANI-OMe/Zn for the oxidative degradation reaction of phenol or Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions, respectively. It discloses a new strategy for fabricating the mesoporous polyaniline materials with profound application potential.

The deviation in wall thickness caused by core shift during the investment casting process significantly impacts the strength and service life of hollow turbine *** address this issue,a core shift limitation method is developed in this ***,a shift model is established based on computational fluid dynamics and motion simulation to predict the movement of the ceramic core in investment casting ***,utilizing this model,an optimization method for fixturing layout inside the refractory ceramic shell is devised for the ceramic *** casting experiment demonstrates that by utilizing the optimized fixture layout,not only can core shift during the investment casting pouring process be effectively controlled,but also the maximum wall thickness error of the blade can be reduced by 42.02%.In addition,the core shift prediction is also validated,with a prediction error of less than 26.9%.

This work presents simple post-treatment methods to selectively and partially remove the Pd core of Pd-Pt core–shell(Pt@Pd/C)*** proton exchange membrane fuel cell with the post-treated Pt@Pd/C cathode(Pt loading:0.1. mg·cm^(-2))delivers an impressive peak power density of 1.2 W·cm^(-2).The partial removal of Pd core endows an ultrahigh oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)mass activity of 0.32 A·g_(PGM)-1.when normalized to the platinum group metal(PGM)mass,or equivalently 0.55 A·mg_(Pt)^(-1. at 0.9 V measured in a fuel *** post-treatment thickens the Pt shells and mitigates the Pd dissolution during potential *** a result,the post-treated core-shell catalyst demonstrates superior durability in ORR mass activity and polarization power density retention than untreated core-shell catalyst and benchmark Pt/***-situ inductively coupled plasmamass spectrometry(ICP-MS)results highlight that the amount of dissolved Pd in post-treated core–shell catalyst is 1.-times lower than that of the untreated *** findings highlight the importance of structural tuning of catalysts in enhancing their mass activity and durability.

Objective:To assess the relationship between the severity of atopic dermatitis(AD)in children of varying weight categories and their serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D]***:The study population comprised 899 patients with AD and 854 age-and sex-matched *** Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H tests were used to assess differences between groups,and Spearman correlation analysis was used to test ***:The 25(OH)D level in the AD group was M(Q_(25),Q_(75)),24.0(1..7,28.4)ng/mL,which was significantly lower than the control group(26.4[23.6,29.9]ng/mL;Z=-3.34,P=0.001..25(OH)D levels in children with AD were negatively correlated with body mass index(r=-0.30,P1.,Severity scoring of Atopic Dermatitis(SCORAD;r=-0.1.,P1.,total immunoglobulin E(r=-0.1.,P1.,and eosinophil(r=-0.08,P=0.01.).There were statistically significant differences in 25(OH)D(H=1..46,P1.,total immunoglobulin E(H=9.1.,P=0.01.),eosinophil(H=67.1.,P1.,and SCORAD(H=1..49,P=0.005)among groups with different body mass index *** 25(OH)D levels were 22.3(1..5,27.1.ng/mL in the overweight AD group and 22.3(1..6,25.7)ng/mL in the obese AD group,which were significantly lower than those in the normal-weight AD group(24.7[20.4,25.5]ng/mL;P=0.003,P=0.004).25(OH)D levels were negatively correlated with SCORAD in obese AD patients(r=-0.25,P=0.01.).Conclusion:Vitamin D insufficient or deficient is obvious in children AD *** 25(OH)D levels in the overweight/obese AD group are significantly lower than those in the normal-weight AD *** D level is negatively correlated with SCORAD in obese children with AD.

BACKGROUND Prealbumin is considered to be a useful indicator of nutritional status. Furthermore, it has been found to be associated with severities and prognosis of a range of diseases. However, limited data on the association of baseline prealbumin level with outcomes of patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI) are *** We analyzed 231. patients admitted for acute STEMI between October 201. and December 2020. In-hospital outcomes and mortality during the 49 months(interquartile range: 26–73 months) follow-up period were compared between patients with the low prealbumin level(1.0 mg/L) and those with the high prealbumin level(≥ 1.0 mg/L).RESULTS A total of 1.4 patients(4.9%) died during hospitalization. After propensity score matching, patients with the low prealbumin level than those with the high prealbumin level experienced higher incidences of heart failure with Killip class Ⅲ(9.9%vs. 4.4%, P = 0.034), cardiovascular death(8.4% vs. 3.4%, P = 0.035) and the composite of major adverse cardiovascular events(1..2%vs. 1..3%, P = 0.01.). Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified that the low prealbumin level(1.0 mg/L) was an independent predictor of in-hospital major adverse cardiovascular events(odds ratio = 1.91., 95% CI: 1.250–2.942, P = 0.003). The cutoff value of prealbumin level for predicting in-hospital death was 1.0 mg/L(area under the curve = 0.703, 95% CI: 0.651.0.754, P1.sensitivity = 0.544, specificity = 0.794). However, after multivariate adjustment of possible confounders, baseline prealbumin level(1.0 mg/L) was no longer independently associated with 49-month cardiovascular death.
