Seafloor topography plays an important role in the evolution of submarine ***,it is still not so clear how the shape of slope affects the three-dimensional(3-D)architecture of submarine *** this study,we analyze the effect of topography factors on different hierarchical lobe architectures that formed during Pliocene to Quaternary in the Rovuma Basin offshore East *** characterize the shape,size and growth pattern of different hierarchical lobe architectures using 3-D seismic *** find that the relief of the topographic slope determines the location of preferential deposition of lobe complexes and single *** the topography is irregular and presents topographic lows,lobe complexes first infill these *** lobes are deposited preferentially at positions with higher longitudinal(***-slope)slope *** the longitudinal slope becomes higher,the aspect ratio of the single lobes ***(***-slope)topography does not seem to have a strong influence on the shape of single lobe,but it seems to affect the overlap of single *** the lateral slope gradient is relatively high,the single lobes tend to have a larger overlap ***,as the average of lateral slope and longitudinal slope gets greater,the width/thickness ratio of the single lobe is smaller,*** tend to accumulate *** results demonstrate that the shape of slopes more comprehensively influences the 3-D architecture of lobes in natural deep-sea systems than previously other lobe deposits and analogue experiments,which helps us better understand the development and evolution of the distal parts of turbidite systems.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs) have emerged as potential candidates for Li-ion batteries due to their intrinsic safety and high ***,metallic Zn anodes encounter dendrite growth and water-induced corrosion,rendering poor stability and severe irreversibility at the electrode/electrolyte interface during *** stabilize the Zn anode,we report a low-cost and effective nonionic surfactant,Tween-20 polymer,as an electrolyte additive for *** Tween-20,sequential oxyethylene groups tended to be preferentially adsorbed on the Zn electrode to form a shielding layer for regulating uniform Zn ***,the hydrophobic hendecyl chains prevented H_(2)O-induced corrosion on the Zn anode *** from the desired functional groups,when only trace amounts of Tween-20(0.050 g·L^(-1)) were used,the Zn anode displayed good cycling stability over 2170 h at10 mA·cm^(-2) and a high average Coulombic efficiency of98.94% over 1000 *** Tween-20 polymer can also be effectively employed in MnO_(2)/Zn full *** their toxicity,price and amount of usage,these surfactant additives provide a promising strategy for realizing the stability and reversibility of high-performance Zn anodes.

Influence of reduced-port laparoscopic surgery on perioperative indicators, postoperative recovery, and serum inflammation in patients with colorectal carcinoma

BACKGROUND Conventional five-port laparoscopic surgery,the current standard treatment for colorectal carcinoma(CRC),has many *** To assess the influence of reduced-port laparoscopic surgery(RPLS)on perioperative indicators,postoperative recovery,and serum inflammation indexes in patients with *** The study included 115 patients with CRC admitted between December 2019 and May 2023,52 of whom underwent conventional five-port laparoscopic surgery(control group)and 63 of whom underwent RPLS(research group).Comparative analyses were performed on the following dimensions:Perioperative indicators[operation time(OT),incision length,intraoperative blood loss(IBL),and rate of conversion to laparotomy],postoperative recovery(first postoperative exhaust,bowel movement and oral food intake,and bowel sound recovery time),serum inflammation indexes[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and interleukin-6(IL-6)],postoperative complications(anastomotic leakage,incisional infection,bleeding,ileus),and therapeutic *** The two groups had comparable OTs and IBL ***,the research group had a smaller incision length;lower rates of conversion to laparotomy and postoperative total complication;and shorter time of first postoperative exhaust,bowel movement,oral food intake,and bowel sound recovery;all of which were ***,hs-CRP,IL-6,and TNF-αlevels in the research group were significantly lower than the baseline and those of the control group,and the total effective rate was *** RPLS exhibited significant therapeutic efficacy in CRC,resulting in a shorter incision length and a lower conversion rate to laparotomy,while also promoting postoperative recovery,effectively inhibiting the inflammatory response,and reducing the risk of postoperative complications.

Optimizing iodine capture performance by metal-organic framework containing with bipyridine units

Radioactive iodine exhibits medical values in radiology,but its excessive emissions can cause environmental ***,the capture of radioiodine poses significant engineering for the environment and medical *** adsorptive capture of radioactive iodine by metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)has risen to *** this work,a Th-based MOF(denoted as Th-BPYDC)was structurally designed and synthesized,consisting of[Th_(6)(μ_(3)-O)_(4)(μ_(3)-OH)_(4)(H_(2)O)6]^(12+)clusters,abundant bipyridine units,and large cavities that allowed guest molecules diffusion and ***-BPYDC exhibited the uptake capacities of 2.23 g·g^(-1) and 312.18 mg·g^(-1) towards I_(2) vapor and I_(2) dissolved in cyclohexane,respectively,surpassing its corresponding analogue *** bipyridine units boosted the adsorption performance,and Th-BPYDC showed good reusability with high *** work thus opened a new way for the synthesis of MOFs to capture radioactive iodine.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been developed over the past decade as the forefront of the state-of-theart photovoltaic technologies owing to their high efficiency and low cost,where nanostructured functional materials play key roles in performance *** a versatile class of two-dimensional(2D)materials,transition metal carbides/nitrides MXenes have gained enormous attentions in PSCs since 2018 due to their superior properties such as excellent metallic conductivity,abundant surface functional groups,tunable work functions,high optical transparency,and mechanical *** explorations of MXenes are of significance in performance promotion and commercialization expansion of *** such,this review focuses on the diversified advantages of MXenes,comprehensively summarizing their applications and developments in PSCs as additives,electron/hole transporting layers,interfacial engineering layers,and electrodes in sequence and explaining the relevant mechanisms ***,the problems emerged from the related studies are considered and the corresponding suggestions like opening up the type of MXenes usage,taking further insight of the modulation of surface termination groups on Fermi levels,understanding the effect on energy level structures of perovskite or other functional layers,and realizing commercialization,*** provided for the future in-depth *** review is intended to provide overall perspective of the current status of MXenes and highlight the direction for the future advancements in MXenes design and processes towards efficient,stable,large-area,and low-cost PSCs.

Understanding oxygen vacant hollow structure CeO_(2)@In_(2)O_(3) heterojunction to promote CO_(2) reduction

In order to reduce the impact of greenhouse gases,we have studied a new and efficient photocatalyst to reduce CO_(2).We recombined the hollow CeO_(2) with the In_(2)O_(3) and introduced the oxygen vacancy to obtain the CeO_(2)@In_(2)O_(3) for the hollow structure of the oxygen *** test results show that CeO_(2)@In_(2)O_(3) with oxygen vacancy hollow structure(hereinafter collectively referred to as H-CeO_(2),H-In_(2)O_(3),and H-CeO_(2-x)@In_(2)O_(3-x))have higher photocatalytic reduction activity of CO_(2) than hollow CeO_(2) and hollow In_(2)O_(3).When the illumination time was 4 h,the yields of carbon dioxide reduction to CO and methane were 38.7 and 7.8 μmol·g^(-1),***,we explained the photocatalytic reduction mechanism,and carried out the X-ray diffraction(XRD)and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS) analysis of H-CeO_(2),H-In_(2)O_(3),and H-CeO_(2-x)@In_(2)O_(3-x).This study summarizes some experience for the study of oxygen vacancy hollow structure photocatalyst,and provides some new ideas in the field of photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2).

Hierarchical porous Co_(3)O_(4) spheres fabricated by modified solvothermal method as anode material in Li-ion batteries

Hierarchical porous Co_(3)O_(4)spheres were synthesized by a solvothermal method followed by high-temperature ***,SEM,TEM and electrochemical tests were used to study the structure and performance of the hierarchical porous Co_(3)O_(4)*** results show that the Co_(3)O_(4)synthesized at a calcination temperature of 700°C(Co_(3)O_(4)-700)is micro-sized spheres(1-2μm)consisting of plentiful nanoparticles(50-200 nm)and numerous pores(~100 nm).Due to its numerous porous morphology,the Co_(3)O_(4)-700 anode exhibits the highest cycling performance with excellent reversible discharge and charge specific capacities of 745 and 755 m A·h/g at the current density of 100 m A/g after 100 charge-discharge cycles,respectively.
