The emergence of SARS-Co V-2 variant of concern omicron BA.2 led to high infection incidence rates as well as reduced severity of COVID-19 during the Shanghai Spring epidemic of 2022 [1]. We assessed the role of viral pathogenicity and the effectiveness of inactivated vaccines in a retrospective observational study including 10 258 confirmed COVID-19cases identified between April and June of 2022, from four COVID-19 designated hospitals located in two areas of Shanghai, namely the West Bund and the East Bund, where the populations’ demographic characteristics varied significantly (Table S1, Fig. S1).

As a simplified model of artificial reefs, a series of plate models punched with square or circular openings are designed to investigate the effects of openings on the hydrodynamic characteristics of artificial reefs. The models are grouped by various opening numbers and opening-area ratios. They are physically tested in a water flume or used in the numerical simulation to obtain the drag force in the uniform flow with different speeds. The simulation results are found in good agreement with the experimental measurements. By the non-dimensional analysis, the drag coefficient specified to each model is achieved and the effects of openings are examined. It is found that the key factor affecting the drag coefficient is the open-area ratio. Generally, the drag coefficient is a linear function of the open area ratio with a minus slope. The empirical formulae for the square and circular openings respectively are deduced by means of the multiple regression analysis based on the measured and numerical data. They will be good references for the design of new artificial reefs. As a result of numerical simulation, the vorticity contours and pressure distribution are also presented in this work to better understand the hydrodynamic characteristics of different models.

In recent years,Konosirus punctatus has accounted for a large portion in catch composition and become important economic species in the South Yellow ***,the distribution of *** early life stages is still poorly *** this study,generalized additive models with Tweedie distribution were used to analyze the relationships between *** ichthyoplankton and environmental factors(longitude and latitude,sea surface temperature(SST),sea surface salinity(SSS)and depth),and predict distribution *** spawning ground and nursing ground,based on samplings collected in 6 months during 2014–*** results showed that ***’spawning ground were mainly distributed in central and north study area(from 33.0°N to 37.0°N).By comparison,the nursing ground shifted southward,which were approximately located along central and south coast of study area(from 31.7°N to 35.5°N).The optimal models identified that suitable SST,SSS and depth for eggs were 19–26℃,25–30 and 9–23 m,*** suitable SSS for larvae were 29–*** *** spawning habit might have changed in the past decades,which was a response to increasing SST and fishing *** needs to be proved in further *** study provides references of conservation and exploitation for ***.

As an effective means for improving system condition and reducing failures, a reasonable preventive maintenance scheduling guarantees the stability and safety of the system. This paper studies a consecutive maintenance scheduling problem for single-component systems with imperfect maintenance, and an optimum model with minimum reliability constraint for minimal cost rate is developed based on the renewal theory. The agebased and reliability-based maintenance strategies are modeled and compared according to a numerical example based on the degradation data of the actual system, which also verifies the optimality of the reliability-based strategy. At last, the influence of some key parameters is discussed by sensitive analysis.

This article introduces the concept of load aggregation,which involves a comprehensive analysis of loads to acquire their external characteristics for the purpose of modeling and analyzing power *** online identification method is a computer-involved approach for data collection,processing,and system identification,commonly used for adaptive control and *** paper proposes a method for dynamically aggregating large-scale adjustable loads to support high proportions of new energy integration,aiming to study the aggregation characteristics of regional large-scale adjustable loads using online identification techniques and feature extraction *** experiment selected 300 central air conditioners as the research subject and analyzed their regulation characteristics,economic efficiency,and *** experimental results show that as the adjustment time of the air conditioner increases from 5 minutes to 35 minutes,the stable adjustment quantity during the adjustment period decreases from 28.46 to 3.57,indicating that air conditioning loads can be controlled over a long period and have better adjustment effects in the short ***,the experimental results of this paper demonstrate that analyzing the aggregation characteristics of regional large-scale adjustable loads using online identification techniques and feature extraction algorithms is effective.

We perform the first lattice QCD study on the radiative decay of the scalar glueball to the vector meson φ in the quenched approximation. The calculations are carried out on three gauge ensembles with different lattice spacings, which enable us to do the continuum extrapolation. We first revisit the radiative J/ψ decay into the scalar glueball G and obtain the partial decay width Γ（J/ψ → γG） = 0.578（86） keV and the branching fraction Br（J/ψ → γG） = 6.2（9） × 10-3, which are in agreement with the previous lattice results. We then extend the similar calculation to the process G → γφ and get the partial decay width Γ（G → γφ） = 0.074（47） keV, which implies that the combined branching fraction of J/ψ → γG → γγφ is as small as O(10-9)such that this process is hardly detected by the BESⅢ experiment even with the large J/ψ sample of O(1010). With the vector meson dominance model, the two-photon decay width of the scalar glueball is estimated to be Γ（G → γγ） = 0.53（46） e V, which results in a large stickiness S（G）～ O（10～4） of the scalar glueball by assuming the stickiness of f2（1270） to be one.

采用超声波法与阳离子交换树脂法提取5种污泥龄的活性污泥絮体中疏松结合的EPS(LEPS)与紧密结合的EPS(TEPS),分别考察两部分EPS的数量与表面性质对活性污泥表面性质及其絮凝性能的影响。研究结果表明,污泥的表面电荷主要受到絮体外层LEPS的影响,LEPS数量与表面负电荷的增大导致污泥表面负电荷的增加;TEPS疏水性较LEPS疏水性同污泥疏水性有更强的相关性,而其数量与污泥疏水性无关。LEPS数量与表面电荷的增加会导致出水悬浮物浓度(ESS)升高,而TEPS的数量与表面电荷同活性污泥絮凝性能没有强相关性;两种EPS疏水性的增大有利于生物絮凝,促进絮体中颗粒物的凝聚,对应着低的ESS与高的重新絮凝能力(FA)。
