Fe doped aluminoborate PKU-1 catalysts for the ketalization of glycerol to solketal: Unveiling the effects of iron composition and boron

An inexpensive Fe doped aluminoborate consisted of 18% Fe in PKU-1 material that exhibits high selectivity of 4-hydroxymethy-2,2-dimethyl^(-1),3-dioxolane (Solketal, 98.3%), considerable activity (TOF 51.7 h-1), and recyclable ability in the ketalization of glycerol to Solketal with acetone at 318 K has been developed. Our study demonstrated that the structure of Fe (less agglomerated iron species vs. FeO clusters) can be tuned by changing Fe loading in the PKU-1 material, which correlated well with experimental observations. Furthermore, the surface boron sites were promoted by iron loading and behaved as Lewis-acid sites to facilitate the reaction process of glycerol ketalization, while the Solketal selectivity was closely related with the structure of iron species in PKU-1, which was proved by kinetic studies, density function theory (DFT) calculations, and a series of spectroscopy studies. This investigation demonstrates that the surface B sites can play important roles in the reaction instead of being spectators.

Event-triggered encirclement control of multi-agent systems with bearing rigidity

In recent years, the problem of multi-agent encirclement has attained much attention and was extensively studied. However, few work consider the factor that the on-board calculation as well as the communication capacity in the multi-agent system is limited. We investigate the encirclement control by employing the newly developed bearing rigidity theory and event-triggered mechanism. Firstly, in order to reduce the onboard loads,the event-triggered mechanism is considered in the framework and further an event-triggered control law based on bearing rigidity is proposed. The input-to-state stability(ISS) of networked agents is also analyzed by using the Lyapunov method and the cyclic-small-gain theory. In addition, the lower bound for the inter-event times is provided. Finally, to verify the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed encirclement control law, numerical experiments are investigated.

Value of diffusion-weighted imaging in distinguishing pancreatic carcinoma from mass-forming chronic pancreatitis： a meta-analysis

Background Several previous studies have shown that diffusion-weighted imaging （DWl） can provide additional information for focal pancreatic lesions by demonstrating more restricted diffusion in solid malignant tumors than in chronic pancreatitis, which can be indicated by a decreased apparent diffusion coefficient （ADC）. However, these studies have a modest sample size and convey inconclusive results. The aim of this study was to determine, in a meta-analysis, the diagnostic performance of quantitative diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging in distinguishing pancreatic carcinoma from mass-forming chronic pancreatitis. Methods We determined the sensitivities and specificities across studies. A summary receiver operator characteristic （sROC） curve was constructed to calculate the area under the curve （AUC）. Results The pooled sensitivity of DWI was 0.86 （95% Cl： 0.80-0.91） and the pooled specificity was 0.82 （95% CI： 0.72- 0.89）. The AUC of the sROC was 0.91 （95% CI： 0.88-0.93）. Conclusions DWl may be a potentially technically feasible tool for differentiating pancreatic carcinoma from mass- forming chronic pancreatitis. However, large-scale randomized control trials are necessary to assess its clinical value.

This paper considers a leaderless consensus problem for multi-agent system with inherently nonlinear dynamics under directed graph. To provide an effective perspective to handle the consensus problem, an innovative concept about the edge Laplacian is developed for directed graph. The algebraic properties of the graph Laplacian and edge Laplacian bare a lot in common, and the edge Laplacian has much potential to solve the leaderless consensus problem under the edge agreement framework. By using the proposed consensus protocol, the technical challenges caused by the inherently nonlinear dynamics can be well handled. Finally, the effectiveness of the theoretical results is demonstrated through simulation.

Encirclement control enables a multi-robot system to rotate around a target while they still preserve a circle formation,which is useful in real world applications such as entrapping a hostile *** this paper,a distributed control law is proposed for any number of anonymous and oblivious robots in random three dimensional positions to form a specified circular formation with any desired inter-robot angular distances(***) and encircle around the *** spacing is useful for a system composed of heterogeneous robots which,for example,possess different kinematics capabilities,since the spacing can be designed manually for any specific *** robots are modelled by single-integrator models,and they can only sense the angular positions of their two neighbouring robots,so the control law is *** analysis and simulation results are provided to prove the stability and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

为提高单护盾TBM在长距离硬岩地层中的适应性,针对单向出渣单护盾TBM在掘进过程中的盾体滚转问题,设计2种可防止和纠正盾体滚转的系统。通过分析单护盾TBM盾体滚转产生的原因和影响因素,提出2种单向出渣单护盾TBM纠滚技术——不依赖管片的盾体主动纠滚技术和推进油缸偏转纠滚技术,说明2种盾体纠滚技术间的联系,建立盾体姿态控制数学模型,阐述盾体滚转发生的临界条件和控制盾体姿态需满足的要求,并结合工程实例说明推进油缸偏转控制盾体姿态的可行性和有效性。

目的建立基于前列腺影像报告和数据系统第2版(PI-RADS v2)的支持向量机(SVM)、决策树(DT)和Logistic回归3种机器学习模型,评价上述模型对高级别前列腺癌的诊断价值。方法回顾性分析于我院接受前列腺多参数MR扫描并取得病理结果的194例患者的资料,其中高级别癌63例,非高级别癌131例。将评价因素(PI-RADS v2评分、年龄、游离前列腺特异抗原、前列腺特异性抗原比值、前列腺特异抗原密度)录入SVM、DT和Logistic回归3种机器学习模型进行诊断,通过ROC曲线评价PI-RADS v2评分和3种机器学习模型诊断高级别前列腺癌的价值。结果PI-RADS v2、SVM、DT和Logistic回归模型诊断高级别前列腺癌的敏感度分别为72.73%、69.09%、87.27%和70.91%;特异度分别为87.29%、93.22%、93.22%和95.76%。DT模型诊断高级别前列腺癌ROC的AUC(AUC=0.90,P<0.01)最大,且与PI-RADS v2评分、SVM、Logistic回归比较差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。结论 PI-RADS v2评分、SVM、DT和Logistic回归模型诊断高级别前列腺癌的价值均较好。
