The charged-particle final state spectrum is derived from an analytic perturbative solution for relativistic viscous hydrodynamics. By taking into account the longitudinal acceleration effect in relativistic viscous hydrody namics, the pseudorapidity spectrum describes the nucleus-nucleus colliding systems at RHIC and the LHC well. Based on both the extracted longitudinal acceleration parameter λ^＊ and a phenomenological description of λ^＊, the charged-particle pseudorapidity distributions for √SNN= 5.44 TeV Xe＋Xe collisions are computed from the final state expression in a limited space-time rapidity ~/8 region.

With the rapid development of intensive farming,the aquaculture industry uses a great many antibiotics for the prevention and treatment of bacterial *** their therapeutic functions,the overuse and accumulation of antibiotics also pose a threat to aquaculture *** the present study,ayu(Plecoglossus altivelis)was used as a fish model to study the impacts of ciprofloxacin(CIP)overuse on intestinal homeostasis and immune response during subsequent Pseudomonas plecoglossicida *** on 16S rRNA gene amplification and Illumina sequencing,we found that CIP pre-exposure caused significant variation in intestinal microbiota,including increased species richness,altered microbiota composition and interaction networks,and increased metabolic ***,immunohistochemical analysis indicated that CIP pre-exposure resulted in severe mucosal layer damage,goblet cell reduction,and epithelial cell necrosis of the intestinal barrier in infected *** real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)showed that disruption of intestinal homeostasis impaired systemic antiinfection immune responses in the intestine,gill,spleen,and head kidney,while inhibiting IL-1β,TNF-α,and IL-10 expression and promoting TGF-β*** findings indicated that CIP administration can directly affect intestinal microbiota composition and intestinal integrity in ayu *** perturbation of intestinal homeostasis is likely responsible for the lower survival rate of hosts following subsequent infection as the capacity to mount an effective immune response is *** study also provides preliminary clues for understanding the effects of antibiotic overuse on higher vertebrates through trophic transfer.

Background:Coronary artery disease(CAD)in octogenarians(age of>80 years)has a high risk of mortality and high *** shows that the prevalence of CAD is higher among octogenarians than that among younger people,but few such patients undergo percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)or coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).This study aimed to evaluate different treatments w让h respect to their clinical effects and impacts on quality of life of octogenarians with ***:Data of 519 octogenarians with CAD consecutively treated at Beijing Anzhen Hospital,Capital Medical University(Beijing,China)from January 2010 to January 2016 were collected in this *** patients were categorized into three groups based on the treatments they received:the PCI group(n=292),CABG group(n=110),and medical treatment group(n=117).The followings were recorded during follow-up:clinical data,death(all-cause and cardiovascular-related),re-hospitalization time,Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)score,and occurrence of hemorrhagic events(cerebral bleeding,gastrointestinal bleeding,and dermal ecchymosis).Results:The median follow-up duration was 25.0(25th,75th percentile:17.0,55.5)months among 417 *** all-cause death rates(28.2%vs.12.0%and 14.6%,respectively)and cardiovascular-related death rates(15.4%us.3.8%and 6.4%,respectively)were significantly higher in the medical treatment group than those in the PCI group and CABG group(all P<0.05).The re-hospitalization rate for cardiovascular events was significantly lower in the CABG group than those in the PCI group and medical treatment group(3.8%vs.12.8%and 14.9%,respectively)(x^2=8.23&P=0.018).The SAQ scores of physical limitation,angina frequency,treatment satisfaction,and disease perception were significantly higher in the PCI group and CABG group than those in the medical treatment group(all P<0.05).No significant difference in the angina stability score was observed among the three groups(F=3.179,P=0.204).Conclusion:PCI an

Background Chronic intermittent hypoxia （CIH） has been associated with abnormalities in the liver, which is the most important organ for drug metabolism. This study aimed to investigate the effect of CIH on theophylline metabolism in mouse liver. Methods Eight C57BL/6J mice were exposed to CIH for 12 weeks. Eight C57BL/6J mice were exposed to room air as a control group. Serum levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase were measured. Liver histology was observed by light and electron microscopy. Total hepatic cytochrome P450 concentration was measured. Hepatocytes were isolated and incubated with 15 mg/ml theophylline for four hours. After incubation, the theophylline concentration in the supernatant was measured and the theophylline metabolism rate was calculated. Results CIH did not affect the serum transaminase levels. Livers from mice exposed to CIH showed hepatocellular edema, and liver cells had fuzzy rough endoplasmic reticulum under the electron microscope. The theophylline metabolism rate was significantly inhibited by CIH compared with controls; （16.60±2.43）% vs. （21.58±4.52）% （P=0.02）. The total liver cytochrome P450 concentration in the CIH group was significantly lower than in the control group; （0.83±0.08） vs. （1.13±0.21）mol/mg microsomal protein （P=0.004）. Conclusion CIH decreases theophylline metabolism by mouse hepatocytes, which may correlate with the downregulation of cytochrome P450 expression by CIH.

Although solar steam generation strategy is efficient in desalinating seawater,it is still challenging to achieve continuous solar-thermal desalination of seawater and catalytic degradation of organic ***,dynamic regulations of hydrogen bonding networks and solvation structures are realized by designing an asymmetric bilayer membrane consisting of a bacterial cellulose/carbon nanotube/Co_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)nanorod top layer and a bacterial cellulose/Co_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)nanorod(BCH)bottom ***,the hydrogen bonding networks inside the membrane can be tuned by the rich surface–OH groups of the bacterial cellulose and Co_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)as well as the ions and radicals in situ generated during the catalysis ***,both SO_(4)^(2−)and HSO_(5)−can regulate the solvation structure of Na^(+)and be adsorbed more preferentially on the evaporation surface than Cl^(−),thus hindering the de-solvation of the solvated Na^(+)and subsequent nucleation/growth of ***,the heat generated by the solar-thermal energy conversion can accelerate the reaction kinetics and enhance the catalytic degradation *** work provides a flow-bed water purification system with an asymmetric solar-thermal and catalytic membrane for synergistic solar thermal desalination of seawater/brine and catalytic degradation of organic pollutants.

Mechanism Study on the Effect of Retarder on Polyurethane Setting Time Based on Molecular Simulation

This study identified castor oil and phosphate ester as effective retarders through setting time,tensile,and flexural tests,and determined their optimal *** mechanism by which phosphate ester affects the setting time of polyurethane was further investigated using molecular dynamics *** transform infrared spectroscopy was also employed to systematically study the physical and chemical interactions between phosphate esters and polyurethane *** results demonstrate that a 1%concentration of phosphate ester provides the most effective retarding effect with minimal impact on the strength of *** phosphate ester is added to the B component of the two-component polyurethane system,its interaction energy with component A decreases,as do the diffusion coefficient and aggregation degree of component B on the surface of component *** reduction in interaction slows the setting ***,the addition of phosphate ester to polyurethane leads to the disappearance or weakening of functional groups,indicating competitive interactions within the phosphate ester components that inhibit the reaction rate.
