BACKGROUND Heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein A1(hnRNPA1)has been reported to enhance the Warburg effect and promote colon cancer(CC)cell proliferation,but the role and mechanism of the miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in CC have not yet been *** To investigate the role and mechanism of a novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in enhancing the Warburg effect and promoting CC cell proliferation through the PI3K/AKT *** Paraffin-embedded pathological sections from 220 CC patients were collected and subjected to immunohistochemical analysis to determine the expression of *** relationship between the expression values and the clinicopathological features of the patients was *** in mRNA expression were analyzed using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,while differences in protein expression were analyzed using western *** proliferation was evaluated using the cell counting kit-8 and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine assays,and cell cycle and apoptosis were detected using flow cytometric *** targeted binding of miR-490-3p to hnRNPA1-b was validated using a dual luciferase reporter *** Warburg effect was evaluated by glucose uptake and lactic acid production *** The expression of hnRNPA1-b was significantly increased in CC tissues and cells compared to normal controls(P<0.05).Immunohistochemical results demonstrated significant variations in the expression of the hnRNPA1-b antigen in different stages of CC,including stage I,II-III,and ***,the clinicopathologic characterization revealed a significant correlation between hnRNPA1-b expression and clinical stage as well as T ***1-b was found to enhance the Warburg effect through the PI3K/AKT pathway,thereby promoting proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 ***,the proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells was inhibited when miR-490-3p targeted and bound to hnRNPA1-b,effectively blocking the Warburg ***

The continuous inflammatory response in diabetic skin wounds leads to excessive production of reactive oxygen species,which cause a vicious circle of long-term *** the therapeutic research of metal nanoenzymes for healing diabetic ulcers,it still faces the challenges in poor nanoenzymes activity and low-efficient therapeutic ***,ultrasmall oxygen-deficient MoO_(3−X)quantum dots were fabricated and employed as nanoenzymes for healing fiabetic *** PEGylation,PEGylated MoO_(3−X)quantum dots(MoO_(3−X)/PEG)with oxygen vacancies exhibits excellent photothermal,peroxidase/catalase-like *** addition,these MoO_(3−X)/PEG showed superior properties in scavenging H_(2)O_(2)and effectively inhibiting the scavenging of reactive oxygen *** importantly,such an oxygen-defected MoO_(3−X)/PEG had obvious antibacterial and skin repairing effects on alleviating hypoxia and excessive oxidative stress even in a mouse model of diabetic ulcers,inhibiting proinflammatory cytokines and significantly accelerating the healing of infected wounds,which shows great application potential for promoting wound *** work highlights that the developed oxygen defected molybdenum oxide compounds capable of peroxidaselike and catalase-like activities show great application potential for healing diabetes wound.

Frequency and associated factors of accommodation and non-strabismic binocular vision dysfunction among medical university students

AIM:To investigate the frequency and associated factors of accommodation and non-strabismic binocular vision dysfunction among medical university ***:Totally 158 student volunteers underwent routine vision examination in the optometry clinic of Guangxi Medical *** data were used to identify the different types of accommodation and nonstrabismic binocular vision dysfunction and to determine their *** analysis and logistic regression were used to examine the factors associated with these ***:The results showed that 36.71%of the subjects had accommodation and non-strabismic binocular vision issues,with 8.86%being attributed to accommodation dysfunction and 27.85%to binocular *** insufficiency(CI)was the most common abnormality,accounting for 13.29%.Those with these abnormalities experienced higher levels of eyestrain(χ2=69.518,P<0.001).The linear correlations were observed between the difference of binocular spherical equivalent(SE)and the index of horizontal esotropia at a distance(r=0.231,P=0.004)and the asthenopia survey scale(ASS)score(r=0.346,P<0.001).Furthermore,the right eye's SE was inversely correlated with the convergence of positive and negative fusion images at close range(r=-0.321,P<0.001),the convergence of negative fusion images at close range(r=-0.294,P<0.001),the vergence facility(VF;r=-0.234,P=0.003),and the set of negative fusion images at far range(r=-0.237,P=0.003).Logistic regression analysis indicated that gender,age,and the difference in right and binocular SE did not influence the emergence of these ***:Binocular vision abnormalities are more prevalent than accommodation dysfunction,with CI being the most frequent *** binocular refractive disparity leads to more severe eyestrain symptoms.

Removal of rubidium from brine by an integrated film of sulfonated polysulfone/graphene/potassium copper ferricyanide

A novel integrated film of sulfonated polysulfone/graphene/potassium copper ferricyanide(KCuFC/SPSG)was used for selectively extracting rubidium ion(Rb^(+))from *** form KCuFC/SPSG,the precursor film of sulfonated polysulfone/graphene(SPSG)was synthesized by phase conversion process,which was alternately immersed in 0.1 mol·L^(-1)CuSO_(4)/K_(4)[Fe(CN)_(6)]by in-situ adsorption coupled co-precipitation *** data such as nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer,Fourier transform infrared spectroscope,X-ray photoelectron spectroscope,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,and energy dispersive spectroscopy all verified that abundant KCuFC were uniformly located on the *** resulting KCuFC/SPSG was used in film separation *** the solution was fed into the system,the Rb^(+)could be selectively adsorption by KCuFC/*** the saturation adsorption,0.5 mol·L^(-1)NH_(4)Cl/HCl was fed into the film cell,Rb^(+)could be quickly desorbed by ion-exchange between Rb^(+)and NH_(4)^(+)in the lattice of *** purpose of separating and recovering Rb^(+)from the brine can be achieved after the repeated *** effects of pH,adsorption time,and interferential ions on the adsorption capacity of Rb^(+)were investigated by batch *** adsorption behavior fits the pseudo-second order kinetic process,while KCuFC has a higher adsorption capacity(Langmuir maximum sorption 165.4 mg·g^(-1)).In addition,KCuFC/SPSG shows excellent selectivity for Rb^(+)even in complex brine ***/SPSG could maintain 93.5%extraction efficiency after five adsorption/desorption cycles.

A Hybrid Approach for Predicting the Remaining Useful Life of Bearings Based on the RReliefF Algorithm and Extreme Learning Machine

Accurately predicting the remaining useful life(RUL)of bearings in mining rotating equipment is vital for mining *** research aims to distinguish the features associated with the RUL of bearings and propose a prediction model based on these selected *** study proposes a hybrid predictive model to assess the RUL of rolling element *** proposed model begins with the pre-processing of bearing vibration signals to reconstruct sixty time-domain *** hybrid model selects relevant features from the sixty time-domain features of the vibration signal by adopting the RReliefF feature selection ***,the extreme learning machine(ELM)approach is applied to develop a predictive model of RUL based on the optimal *** model is trained by optimizing its parameters via the grid search *** training datasets are adjusted to make them most suitable for the regression model using the cross-validation *** proposed hybrid model is analyzed and validated using the vibration data taken from the public XJTU-SY rolling element-bearing *** comparison is constructed with other traditional *** experimental test results demonstrated that the proposed approach can predict the RUL of bearings with a reliable degree of accuracy.

Coordination polymerization of renewable β-ocimene has been investigated using asymmetric diiminophosphinate lutetium complex1, β-diketiminate yttrium complex 2, bis(phosphino)carbazolide yttrium complex 3, half-sandwich benzyl fluorenyl scandium complex 4 and pyridyl-methylene-fluorenyl rare-metal complexes 5a–5c. Complexes 1, 4 and 5a–5c show trans-1,2-regioselectivities and high activities, of which 5c exhibits excellent isoselectivity(mmmm>99%). Conversely, complexes 2 and 3 promote β-ocimene polymerization to produce isotactic cis-1,4-polyocimenes(cis-1,4>99%, mm>95%). Diblock copolymers cis-1,4-PIP-block-cis-1,4-POc and cis-1,4-PBD-block-cis-1,4-POc are obtained in one-pot reactions of β-ocimene with isoprene and butadiene using complex 3. Epoxidation and hydroxylation of polyocimene afford functionalized polyolefins with enhanced T_(g)(from-20 ℃ to 79 ℃ and 74 ℃) and hydrophilicity.

Insights into in-situ imbibition behavior of fracturing fluid in propped shale fractures based on nuclear magnetic resonance:A case study from Longmaxi Formation shale,Sichuan Basin,China

Shale gas is an important component of unconventional oil and gas *** the imbibition behavior is helpful to optimize flowback parameters and enhance gas *** imbibition studies have focused on shale matrix,and the pressure conditions discussed were mostly *** initial imbibition behavior begins from propped fractures to matrix,but there are few studies working on explaining the imbibition behavior in propped fractures or the phenomenon of many shale wells exhibit higher productivity after a“soaking”***,propped fracture samples were designed for imbibition and migration *** order to accurately study the mechanism and main influencing factors of fracturing fluid imbibition and migration in propped and unpropped shale fractures under high temperature and high pressure,a series of experiments based on nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)were carried *** showed that NMR T_(2) spectra of all samples exhibited a bimodal *** final imbibition volume of fracturing fluid was positively related to pressure and fracture *** imbibition effect of fracturing fluid was more evident in matrix pores under high *** the migration during soaking stage,the fracturing fluid gradually migrated from large pores to small pores and gradually displaced the shale gas from the matrix,thus allowing the water blocking in propped fractures to self-unlock to some *** permeability decreased in the imbibition stage,while it recovered in the migration stage to some extent.

An integrative mathematical model of microwave ion thruster for mHz-frequency thrust noise analysis

Many high-precision space missions need thrusters to produce thrust with low noise to compensate for disturbances and ensure satellite platform stability. Microwave ion thruster is characterized with a wide thrust range and potential for these missions. A cost-effective and accurate mathematical model is crucial for mHz-frequency thrust noise analysis and feedback controller design. The Particle-In-Cell(PIC) and global models are two common simulation tools. The PIC model is characterized with high accuracy but huge computation cost, which is difficult to analyze long-time performance characteristics. Now, the global model is only used for the discharge chamber with low accuracy and cannot reflect ion extraction properties. In this paper, an integrative mathematical model is built for a 1-cm microwave ion thruster and can reflect ion beamlet divergence and impingement on the Accelerator Grid(AG). Simulation results show good agreement with experiments at 0.06 sccm. However, the model demonstrates worse consistency with experiments when the flux increases to 0.1 sccm, which may be because the influence of neutral gas on the Electron Cyclotron Resonance(ECR) is not considered in the model. A long-time(1000 s) simulation is conducted with this model under 35 μN. It takes 3 hrs, and the thrust noise reaches 1 μN/Hz^(0.5) at 1 mHz.

A stable,efficient,and economical bifunctional electrolytic catalyst would be incredibly beneficial for the development of hydrogen production by electrocatalytic water *** this study,we synthesized a novel MnS–MnO heterogeneous nanocube@N,S-doped carbon(MnS–MnO@NSC).MnS–MnO nanocubes possess rich heterogeneous interfaces and plentiful catalytic active sites to promote electrochemical reactions,while the N,S-doped carbon shell possesses excellent conductivity and catalytic properties and protects the ***–MnO@NSC exhibited excellent electrochemical properties as an effective bifunctional electrocatalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in KOH *** the HER,the overpotential was as low as 124 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)while in the OER,it was only 340 mV at 100 mA·cm^(-2)under the same *** addition,a MnS–MnO@NSC||MnS–MnO@NSC electrolyzer exhibited almost comparable activity and higher steadiness than those exhibited by the state-of-the-art Pt/C||RuO_(2)/C system for full water splitting in KOH solution.
