In the real world, the population systems are often subject to white noises and a system with such stochastic perturbations tends to be suitably modeled by stochastic differential equations. This paper is concerned with the dynamic behaviors of a delay stochastic competitive system. We first obtain the global existence of a unique positive solution of system. Later, we show that the solution of system will be stochastically ultimate boundedness. However, large noises may make the system extinct exponentially with probability one. Also, sufficient conditions for the global attractivity of system are established. FinMly, illustrated examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.

Optimal Test Points Selection Based on Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm

Objective Dysrelugated DNA methylation is closely related with tumor progression. APC gene as a tumor suppressor gene has been shown to be frequently methylated in human gastric cancer(GC). Here, we investigated if methylated APC DNA in body fluids could be a useful biomarker for GC *** APC methylation was detected by real-time methylation-specific PCR in tumor tissues, pairing preoperative peritoneal lavage fluids(PPLFs) and sera from 92 GC patients. 88 non-cancer healthy people were controls. Results The methylation level in GC tissues(54.3%, 50/92) was significantly higher than that that in noncancerous controls(3.4%, 3/88) including gastritis and normal gastric tissues(P=0.000), but there was no significant difference between GC tissues and their corresponding para-cancerous histological normal tissues(PCHNTs)(PCHNTs)(53.3%, 49/92)(P=0.292). The frequency of APC methylation in PPLFs and sera from GC patients were both 53.3%(49/92). Fluid methylated APC DNA was positive correlated with the APC methylation level in tumor tissues in GC(both kappa value: 0.934, P=0.000), respectively. APC methylation in tumor tissues and their paired fluid specimens significantly correlated with tumor size, growth manner, histological differentiation, lymphatic invasion, venous invasion, invasive depth, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis and clinical stage(all P<0.05). APC methylation level in PPLFs/sera could be a good biomarker for peritoneal dissemination in GC(both AUC=0.906) and significantly correlated with tumor progression and poorer prognosis(all P<0.001).Conclusion Fluid methylated APC DNA indicates peritoneal micrometastasis and poor prognosis for GC patient.

A new approach to select anoptimal set of test points is proposed. The described method uses fault-wise table and multi-objective genetic algorithm to find the optimal set of test points. First, the fault-wise table is constructed whose entries are measurements associated with faults and test points. The selection of optimal test points is transformed to the selection of the columns that isolate the rows of the table. Then, four objectives are described according to practical test requirements. The multi-objective genetic algorithm is explained. Finally, the presented approach is illustrated by a practical example. The results indicate that the proposed method can efficiently and accurately find the optimal set of test points and is practical for large scale systems.

Unlocking the stable interface in aqueous zinc-ion battery with multifunctional xylose-based electrolyte additives

Background: 5-hydroxymethylcytosine(5 hmC) has been found to be reduced in various solid tumors, indicating that TET(ten–eleven translocation) genes may contribute to cellular transformation via regulation of DNA demethylation. The aim of this study is to determine if 5 hmC, as a new epigenetic modification, may be a useful biomarker for gastric cancer(GC) ***: 5 hmC expression status was investigated in GC(n=292) and their corresponding para-cancerous normal tissues at both mRNA and protein levels. The correlation of 5 hmC expression levels with clinical features such as metastasis and prognosis was analyzed. The effect of 5 hmC on the growth and migration of GC cells was also ***: The level of 5 hmC was decreased in GC tissues, as compared with non-tumor tissues(P=0.000). Clincopathological analysis showed the decreased level of 5 hmC in GC was associated with tumor size, H. pylori infection, tumor staging, venous and lymphatic invasion, distant and nodal metastasis, and patient survival(all P=0.000). We also found that the decreased level of 5 hmC in non-tumor tissues was associated with tumor recurrence in the first year after surgical resection. In an animal model with H. pylori-induced GC, we found that the level of 5 hmC was gradually decreased in the gastric epithelial tissues during the period of infection. There was further reduction of 5 hmC in gastric tissues when gastric epithelial dysplasia were developed. In contrast, level of 5 mC was increased in GC tissues and the increased 5 mC level was associated with tumor progression and overall survival. Furthermore, our data showed that expression of TET1 was downregulated in ***: It was indicated 5 hmC may be served as potential marker for malignancy and prognosis of human gastric cancers, and the decreased expression of TET1 is likely one of the mechanisms underlying 5 hmC loss in GC.

The growth of dendrites and the side reactions occurring at the Zn anode pose significant challenges to the commercialization of aqueous Zn-ion batteries（AZIBs）. These challenges arise from the inherent conflict between mass transfer and electrochemical kinetics. In this study, we propose the use of a multifunctional electrolyte additive based on the xylose（Xylo） molecule to address these issues by modulating the solvation structure and electrode/electrolyte interface, thereby stabilizing the Zn anode. The introduction of the additive alters the solvation structure, creating steric hindrance that impedes charge transfer and then reduces electrochemical kinetics. Furthermore, in-situ analyses demonstrate that the reconstructed electrode/electrolyte interface facilitates stable and rapid Zn2+ion migration and suppresses corrosion and hydrogen evolution reactions. As a result, symmetric cells incorporating the Xylo additive exhibit significantly enhanced reversibility during the Zn plating/stripping process, with an impressively long lifespan of up to 1986 h, compared to cells using pure ZnSO4electrolyte. When combined with a polyaniline cathode, the full cells demonstrate improved capacity and long-term cyclic stability. This work offers an effective direction for improving the stability of Zn anode via electrolyte design, as well as highperformance AZIBs.
