The high-energy-density and low-cost features endow lithium-sulfur batteries with broad application prospects.However,many drawbacks,especially the detrimental shuttle effect,have hindered the further development of LSBs.In response,a lot of new structures have been applied to suppress the shuttle effect and promote the development of LSBs.Recently,vacancy engineering has gained the attention of researchers due to its unique electronic structure.This review aims to analyze the application of vacancy engineering in LSBs.Firstly,the electrochemistry of LSBs has been systematically discussed and the existing challenges as well as improvement tactics of LSBs have also been presented.Subsequently,the preparation methods and characterization technologies of various vacancies are summarized,including oxygen vacancies,sulfur vacancies,selenium vacancies,other anion vacancies,cation vacancies,etc.The latest applications of vacancy engineering in LSBs are also summarized in this review.Finally,some prospects and insights for further investigation and practical application of vacancy engineering in LSBs are put forward.

Prediction of suitable water content in granulation of sintering mixture based on Litster's model

Suitable water content plays a decisive role in the granulation of sintering mixtures.Herein,a method was proposed to predict the suitable water content for effective granulation on the basis of Litster's granulation model.The granulation effectiveness of a sintering mixture was predicted by the model,with the allowance error of±10%.The effects of the water absorption properties,particle size composition and content of adhesive particles on the suitable water content were studied.The results showed that the allowable error of prediction was within±0.5%compared to the experimentally determined suitable water content.With an increase in adhesive powder content of mixtures with higher water absorption,the suitable water content increased to achieve similar granulation effectiveness.Moreover,as the amount of concentrates increased,the suitable water content first increased and then remained steady.The influence of the water absorption characteristics of the adhesive particles on the suitable water content was less than that of their particle size composition in the mixture.

BACKGROUND Individuals with refractory ascites in the context of liver cirrhosis typically face an adverse prognosis.The transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)is an efficacious intervention,but there is a lack of reliable tools for postoperative pro-gnosis assessment.Previously utilized clinical biochemical markers,such as the serum albumin concentration(Alb),sodium(Na+)concentration,and serum creatinine(Scr),have limited predictive value.Therefore,the quest for novel,specific biomarkers to evaluate the post-TIPS prognosis in patients with liver cirrhosis and refractory ascites holds significant practical importance.A retrospective analysis was conducted on 75 patients with liver cirrhosis and refractory ascites who underwent TIPS at our institution from August 2019 to August 2021.These patients were followed up regularly for two years,and the death toll was meticulously documented.The patients were allocated into a survival group(n=45 patients)or a deceased group(n=30 patients)based on their prognosis status.The clinical data of the two groups were collected,and Child-Pugh scores and MELD scores were calculated for analysis.Spearman correlation analysis was carried out to evaluate the correlation of prognosis with Child-Pugh grade,MELD score,and Cys C level.Additionally,a multiple-factor analysis utilizing the Cox proportional hazard model was used to identify independent risk factors affecting the post-TIPS prognosis of patients with liver cirrhosis and refractory ascites.The receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)ascertained the predictive value of the Cys C concen-tration,Child-Pugh grade,and MELD score for the prognosis of liver cirrhosis with refractory ascites in post-TIPS patients.RESULTS During a 2-year follow-up period,among 75 patients with liver cirrhosis and refractory ascites who underwent TIPS treatment,30 patients(40.00%)passed away.The deceased cohort exhibited heightened aspartate aminotrans-ferase,alanine aminotransferase,total bilirubin,Scr,prothrombin time,Cys C,internationa

The Lower Cambrian shale gas in the western Hubei area, South China has a great resource prospect, but the gas-in-place（GIP） content in different sedimentary facies varies widely, and the relevant mechanism has been not well understood. In the present study, two sets of the Lower Cambrian shale samples from the Wells YD4 and YD5 in the western Hubei area, representing the deep-water shelf facies and shallowwater platform facies, respectively, were investigated on the differences of pore types, pore structure and methane adsorption capacity between them, and the main controlling factor and mechanism of their methane adsorption capacities and GIP contents were discussed. The results show that the organic matter（OM） pores in the YD4 shale samples are dominant, while the inorganic mineral（IM） pores in the YD5 shale samples are primary, with underdeveloped OM pores. The pore specific surface area（SSA） and pore volume（PV） of the YD4 shale samples are mainly from micropores and mesopores, respectively,while those of the YD5 shale samples are mainly from micropores and macropores, respectively. The methane adsorption capacity of the YD4 shale samples is significantly higher than that of the YD5 shale samples, with a maximum absolute adsorption capacity of 3.13 cm3/g and 1.31 cm3/g in average,respectively. Compared with the shallow-water platform shale, the deep-water shelf shale has a higher TOC content, a better kerogen type and more developed OM pores, which is the main mechanism for its higher adsorption capacity. The GIP content models based on two samples with a similar TOC content selected respectively from the Wells YD4 and YD5 further indicate that the GIP content of the deep-water shelf shale is mainly 3 4 m3/t within a depth range of 1000—4000 m, with shale gas exploration and development potential, while the shallow-water platform shale has normally a GIP content of <1 m3/t,with little shale gas potential. BACKGROUND Although the etiology of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)has not been thoroughly understood,the emerging roles of anthropometric indicators in assessing and predicting the risk of NAFLD have been highlighted by accumulating evidence.AIM To evaluate the causal relationships between five anthropometric indicators and NAFLD employing Mendelian randomization(MR)design.METHODS The Anthropometric Consortium provided genetic exposure data for five anthropometric indicators,including hip circumference(HC),waist circumference(WC),waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),body mass index(BMI),and body fat percentage(BF).Genetic outcome data for NAFLD were obtained from the United Kingdom Biobank and FinnGen Consortium.Genome-wide significant single nucleotide polymorphisms were chosen as instrumental variables.Univariable MR(UVMR)and multivariable MR(MVMR)designs with analytical approaches,including inverse variance weighted(IVW),MR-Egger,weighted median(WM),and weighted mode methods,were used to assess the causal relationships between anthropometric indicators and NAFLD.RESULTS Causal relationships were revealed by UVMR,indicating that a higher risk of NAFLD was associated with a perunit increase in WC[IVW:odds ratio(OR)=2.67,95%CI:1.42-5.02,P=2.25×10^(−3)],and BF was causally associated with an increased risk of NAFLD(WM:OR=2.23,95%CI:1.07-4.66,P=0.033).The presence of causal effects of WC on the decreased risk of NAFLD was supported by MVMR after adjusting for BMI and smoking.However,no causal association between BF and NAFLD was observed.In addition,other causal relationships of HC,WHR(BMI adjusted),and BMI with the risk of NAFLD were not retained after FDR correction.CONCLUSION This study establishes a causal relationship,indicating that an increase in WC is associated with a higher risk of NAFLD.This demonstrates that a suitable decrease in WC is advantageous for preventing NAFLD.

Influence of oxygen-rich hot air composite gas medium on sintering performance and function mechanism

Hot air sintering technology is used to improve the quality and production efficiency of sintered ore.However,the current thick layer condition highlights the disadvantage of the low oxygen potential of the hot air sintering layer.Therefore,it is considered to use oxygen enrichment sintering to improve the environment of hot air sintering.Traditional sintering,hot air sintering,and oxygen-rich hot air sintering were compared through sintering cup experiments,and the influence of hot air and oxygen-rich hot air on sintering indexes was clarified.Hot air reduced the vertical sintering velocity,while improved the yield and tumbler index.Oxygen-rich hot air sintering contributed to improving the vertical sintering velocity while ensuring the quality of sintered ore,thus comprehensively improving production efficiency.Under the action of hot air,the highest temperature of the sintering layer increased and the high-temperature holding time was prolonged.After oxygen enrichment,the combustion efficiency of fuels in the upper layer of materials was promoted,which optimized heat distribution in the middle and lower layers of materials and increased the content of calcium ferrite in the sintered ore,thus strengthening the sintering process.

BACKGROUND Emerging research suggests that microRNAs(miRNAs)play an important role in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).A comprehensive analysis of recent research concerning miRNAs in HCC development could provide researchers with a valuable reference for further studies.AIM To make a comprehensive analysis of recent studies concerning miRNAs in HCC.METHODS All relevant publications were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database.Bibliometrix software,VOSviewer software and CiteSpace software were used to visually analyze the distribution by time,countries,institutions,journals,and authors,as well as the keywords,burst keywords and thematic map.RESULTS A total of 9426 publications on this topic were found worldwide.According to the keywords analysis,we found that the studies of miRNAs focused on their expression level,effects,and mechanisms on the biological behaviour of HCC.Keywords bursting analysis showed that in the early years(2013–2017),“micro-RNA expression”,“gene expression”,“expression profile”,“functional polymorphism”,“circulating microRNA”,“susceptibility”and“mir 21”started to attract attention.In the latest phase(2018–2022),the hot topics turned to“sorafenib resistance”,“tumor microenvironment”and so on.CONCLUSION This study provides a comprehensive overview of the role of miRNAs in HCC development based on bibliometric analysis.The hotspots in this field focus on miRNAs expression level,effects,and mechanisms on the biological behavior of HCC.The frontiers turned to sorafenib resistance,tumor microenvironment and so on.

Autonomous indoor humidity control is gaining more and more attention but is limited by the trade-offs among pore volume,pore size and water stability of water adsorbents. We solve this problem by using a unique coordination network topology combined with hydrolytically stable M（Ⅲ） carboxylate clusters. By extending the ligand length from 9.0 to 11.2 and 13.7?, the pore volume significantly increases from 0.99 to 1.40 and 1.78 cm3g–1, which proportionally increases the saturated water adsorption capacity. Meanwhile, the pore size slightly increases from 10.4 to 11.0 and 13.5?, which restricts the isotherm inflection pressure and hysteresis width to meet the requirement of indoor humidity control. Large single-crystals suitable for Xray diffraction studies were obtained by using Fe（Ⅲ） salts, while isostructural frameworks with sufficiently high water stabilities were synthesized by using Cr（Ⅲ） salts, which offer record working capacity of 0.90 and 1.10 g g–1for indoor humidity control.

以色列自1948年建国以来,对国内阿拉伯人实施表面上平等自治、实质上歧视压制分化的民族政策。在建构主义理论视角下,以色列歧视性民族政策源于犹太复国主义思想、基于恶劣地缘环境而产生的绝对安全观,以及国内阿拉伯人“威胁”犹太人主体民族数量的认知焦虑。排他性的犹太复国主义思想不仅阻碍了将阿拉伯民族融进以色列国家的路径,同时反向促进了阿拉伯人自身独立性的构建,而恶劣的地缘安全形势使得阿拉伯人长期被以色列社会看作“第五纵队”,无法被主流社会接纳。以色列本土主体族群人口不足、阿拉伯人数量增加的情势,使以色列的本土犹太人产生了前所未有的极大的不安与危机感,推动以色列政府事实上对阿拉伯人实行歧视性政策。该政策使得以色列阿拉伯人在政治、经济和文化各个方面都被以色列主流社会边缘化,同时更破坏了以色列的民主制与国家构建。以色列只有采取更公平的民族政策,才能在族群政治的现实中实现以色列族群关系的和谐,构建合理的国家认同,实现民族国家的稳定构建。
