Impact of frailty on short-term postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Metabolic engineering of an industrial bacterium Zymomonas mobilis for anaerobic l-serine production

Anthocyanins play diverse roles in plant physiology and stress *** Arabidopsis,the MYB–bHlH–WD40(MBW)complex has a crucial role in the regulation of anthocyanin ***,we report that the R2R3-MYB transcription factor MYB30 and the ubiquitin E3 ligase RHA2b participate in anthocyanin biosynthesis through regulation of the MBW ***30 was found to negatively regulate sucrose-induced anthocyanin biosynthesis in Arabidopsis *** of multiple genes involved inflavo-noid or anthocyanin biosynthesis was affected in the myb30 mutant,and MYB30 directly repressed the expression of MYB75,which encodes a core component of the MBW complex,by binding to its ***,MYB30 physically interacted with MYB75 to inhibit its activity by repressing MBW complex *** addition,sucrose treatment signicantly promoted MYB30 degradation via the action of *** ubiquitination and degradation of MYB30 were signicantly attenuated in the rha2b mutant un-der high-sucrose treatment,and further analysis showed that MYB75 directly promoted RHA2b expression in response to high *** work thus reveals an anthocyanin biosynthetic regulatory module,RHA2b–MYB30,that controls the function of the MBW complex via *** repression of MYB75 by MYB30 is released by MYB75-induced RHA2b expression,thus ensuring the self-activation of MYB75 when anthocy-anin synthesis is needed.

AVM:A Manually Curated Database of Aerosol-transmitted Virus Mutations,Human Diseases,and Drugs

Simultaneous Degradation, Dehalogenation, and Detoxification of Halogenated Antibiotics by Carbon Dioxide Radical Anions

Despite the extensive application of advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)in water treatment,the efficiency of AOPs in eliminating various emerging contaminants such as halogenated antibiotics is constrained by a number of *** moieties exhibit strong resistance to oxidative radicals,affecting the dehalogenation and detoxification *** address these limitations of AOPs,advanced reduction processes(ARPs)have been ***,a novel nucleophilic reductant—namely,the carbon dioxide radical anion(CO_(2)^(·-))—is introduced for the simultaneous degradation,dehalogenation,and detoxification of florfenicol(FF),a typical halogenated *** results demonstrate that FF is completely eliminated by CO_(2)^(·-),with approximately 100%of Cland 46%of Freleased after 120 min of *** detoxification is observed,which exhibits a linear response to the release of free inorganic halogen ions(R^(2)=0.97,plogen-free products is the primary reason for the superior detoxification performance of this method,in comparison with conventional hydroxyl-radical-based *** identification and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the underlying dehalogenation mechanism,in which the chlorine moiety of FF is more susceptible than other moieties to nucleophilic attack by CO_(2)^(·-).Moreover,CO_(2)^(·-)-based ARPs exhibit superior dehalogenation efficiencies(>75%)in degrading a series of halogenated antibiotics,including chloramphenicol(CAP),thiamphenicol(THA),diclofenac(DlF),triclosan(TCS),and ciprofloxacin(CIP).The system shows high tolerance to the pH of the solution and the presence of natural water constituents,and demonstrates an excellent degradation performance in actual groundwater,indicating the strong application potential of CO_(2)^(·-)-based ARPs in real ***,this study elucidates the feasibility of CO_(2)^(·-)for the simultaneous degradation,dehalogenation,and detoxification of halog

Sulfur chemistry in the formation process of low-mass stars and planets remains poorly *** protoplanetary disks are the birthplace of planets and its distinctive environment provides an intriguing platform for investigating models of sulfur *** analyzed the Atacama large Millimeter/submillimeter Array observations of CS 7-6 transitions in the HD 163296 disk and performed astrochemical model.ng to explore its sulfur *** simulated the distribution of sulfur-containing molecules and compared it with observationally deduced fractional column *** have found that the simulated column density of CS is consistent with the observationally deduced fractional column densities,while the simulated column density of C_(2)S is lower than the observationally deduced upper limits on column *** results indicate that we have a good understanding of the chemical properties of CS and C_(2)S in the *** also investigated the influence of the C/O ratio on sulfur-containing molecules and found that the column densities of SO,SO_(2),and H_2S near the centra star are dependent on the C/O ***,we found that the N[CS]/N[SO]ratio can serve as a promising indicator of the disk’s C/O ratio in HD ***,the disk of HD 163296 provides a favorable environmen for the detection of sulfur-containing molecules.

Fe/S oxidation-coupled arsenic speciation transformation mediated by AMD enrichment culture under different pH conditions

Arsenic(As)speciation transformation in acid mine drainage(AMD)is comprehensively affected by biological and abiotic factors,such as microbially mediated Fe/S redox reactions and changes in environmental conditions(pH and oxidation-reduction potential).However,their combined impacts on arsenic speciation transformation remain poorly ***,we explored arsenic transformation and immobilization during pyrite dissolution mediated by AMD enrichment culture under different acidic pH *** results for incubation and mineralogical transformation of solid residues show that in the presence of AMD enrichment culture,pH 2.0,2.5,and 3.0 are more conducive to the formation of jarosites and ferric arsenate,which could immobilize high quantities of dissolved arsenic by adsorption and *** pH conditions significantly affect the initial adsorption of microbial cells to the minerals and the evolution of microbial community structure,further infuencing the biodissolution of pyrite and the release and oxidation process of Fe/*** results of Fe/S/As speciation transformation of the solid residues show that the transformation of Fe,S,and As in solution is mainly regulated by pH and potential values,which imposed significantly different effects on the formation of secondary minerals and thus arsenic oxidation and *** above results indicated that arsenic transformation is closely related to the Fe/S oxidation associated with pyrite bio-oxidation,and this correlation is critically regulated by the pH conditions of the system.

The unstable electrolyte/lithium(li)anode interface has been one of the key chall.nges in realizing high energy density solid-state lithium metal batteries(lMBs)***,a dense and uniform silver(Ag)nano interlayer with a thickness of∼35 nm is designed accurately by magnetron sputtering technology to optimize the electrolyte/li anode *** Ag nano layer reacts with li metal anode to in-situ form li-Ag alloy,thus enhancing the physical interfacial contact,and further improving the interfacial wettability and *** particular,the li-Ag alloy is inclined to form Agli phase proved by cryo-TEM and DFT,effectively preventing SN from continuously“attacking”the li metal anode due to the lower adsorption of succinonitrile(SN)molecules on Agli than that of pure li metal,thereby significantly reinforcing the interfacial ***,the enhanced physical and chemical stability of electrolyte/li anode interface promotes the homogeneous deposition of li^(+)and inhibits the dendrite *** li-symmetric cell maintains stable operation for up to 1700 h and the cycl.ng stability of liFePO_(4)|SPE|li full cell is remarkably improved at room temperature(capacity retention rate of 91.9%for 200 cycles).This work opens an effective way for accurate and controllable interface design of l.ng lifespan solid-state lMBs.
