Extraction of gravel characteristics and spatial inversion for ecological restoration monitoring in the Northern Tibetan Plateau

Previous studies have often focused on monitoring grassland growth as the primary target of remote sensing investigations on grassland ecological restoration in the northern Tibetan Plateau,overlooking the crucial role played by gravel in the ecological restoration of these *** study utilizes supervised classification and segmentation techniques based on machine learning to extract gravel morphology profiles from field-sampled plot images and calculate their characteristic *** a multivariate linear approach combined with Principal Component Analysis(PCA),a model for inferring gravel characteristic parameters is *** features,particle size characteristics,and spatial distribution patterns of gravel are *** reveal that gravel predominantly exhibit sub-rounded shapes,with 80%classified as fine *** coefficients of determination(R2)between gravel particle size and coverage,perimeter,and area are 0.444,0.724,and 0.557,respectively,indicating linear *** cumulative contribution rate of the top five remote sensing factors is 95.44%,with the first geological factor contributing 77.64%,collectively reflecting the primary information of the 20 factors *** shows that areas with larger gravel particle sizes correspond to increased perimeter and *** in the Nagqu Prefecture of northern Tibet have a particle size range of 4-8 mm,primarily comprising fine gravel which accounts for 94.61%.These findings provide a scientific basis for extracting gravel characteristic parameters and understanding their spatial distribution variations in the northern Tibetan Plateau.

Meandering rivers of various scales are found globally and exhibit a high degree of regularity in their evolutionary processes. This study utilized remote sensing interpretation techniques to extract and analyze the planform migration characteristics of meandering rivers. Specifically, remote sensing images of three meandering rivers—the Black and White Rivers in the Tibetan Plateau and the Itui River in the Amazon Basin—were selected for this analysis. By comparing these observations with existing research data, this study quantitatively revealed the lag response patterns in the planform migration processes of meandering rivers. The findings of the study revealed several key insights.(1) The average migration rates for the three rivers were determined to be 1.74, 3.84, and 2.34 m/a, respectively. The critical values of the relative curvature radius for the river channels ranged from 1.5 to 2.0, 1.7 to 2.2, and 2.5 to 3.0, where local migration rate peaks were observed. These findings align with previous research that reported critical values between 2.0 and 4.0.(2) A significant lag is observed in the migration rate relative to curvature in spatial variation, with lag distances for the Black, White, and Itui Rivers measuring 227, 281, and 324 m,corresponding to 2.02, 2.39, and 3.15 times the river width, respectively.(3) A comparison with other meandering rivers indicates that, despite significant variations in climatic and hydrological conditions and river discharges differing by over 1,000times, the ratio of lag distance to river width(relative lag distance) for meandering rivers consistently falls within the range of 2.0to 4.0. This study suggests that the establishment of critical values for the relative curvature radius and the concentration of the relative lag distance reflects distinct quantitative relationships that emerge during the evolutionary processes of meandering rivers, aiming to minimize energy expenditure. A pull request (PR) is an event in Git where a contributor asks project maintainers to review code he/she wants to merge into a project. The PR mechanism greatly improves the efficiency of distributed software development in the opensource community. Nevertheless, the massive number of PRs in an open-source software (OSS) project increases the workload of developers. To reduce the burden on developers, many previous studies have investigated factors that affect the chance of PRs getting accepted and built prediction models based on these factors. However, most prediction models are built on the data after PRs are submitted for a while (e.g., comments on PRs), making them not useful in practice. Because integrators still need to spend a large amount of effort on inspecting PRs. In this study, we propose an approach named E-PRedictor (earlier PR predictor) to predict whether a PR will be merged when it is created. E-PRedictor combines three dimensions of manual statistic features (i.e., contributor profile, specific pull request, and project profile) and deep semantic features generated by BERT models based on the description and code changes of PRs. To evaluate the performance of E-PRedictor, we collect475192 PRs from 49 popular open-source projects on Github. The experiment results show that our proposed approach can effectively predict whether a PR will be merged or not. E-PRedictor outperforms the baseline models (e.g., Random Forest and VDCNN) built on manual features significantly. In terms of F1@Merge, F1@Reject, and AUC (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve), the performance of E-PRedictor is 90.1%, 60.5%, and 85.4%, respectively.

The technology of solid-state lighting has developed for decades in various ***,as an element part,determines the application domain of lighting *** instance,blue and redemitting phosphors are required in the process of plant supplementing light,arrow-band emitting phosphors are applied to backlight displays,*** this work,a Bi3+-activated blue phosphor was obtained in a symmetrical and co mpact crystal structure of Gd3Sb07（GSO）.Then,the co-doping strategy of alkali metal ions（Li+,Na+,and K+） was used to optimize the *** result shows that the photoluminescence intensity is increased by 2.1 times and 1.3 times respectively by introducing Li+and K+*** only that,it also achieves narrow-band emitting with the full width of half-maximum（FWHM） reaching 42 nm through Na+doping,and its excitation peak position also shifts from 322 to 375 nm,which can be well excited by near-ultraviolet（NUV） light emitting diode（LED） chips（365 nm）.Meanwhile,the electroluminescence spectrum of GSO:0.6 mol%Bi3+,3 wt%Na+matches up to 93.39% of the blue part of the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll *** summary,the Bi3+-activated blue phosphor reported in this work can synchronously meet the requirements of plant light replenishment and field emission displays.
