Aim:To investigate the protective role of iptakalim,a novel ATP sensitive potas-sium channel opener,on global cerebral ischemia-evoked insult in gerbils andglutamate-induced PC 12.cell ***:Global cerebral ischemia was in-duced by occluding the bilateral common carotid arteries in gerbils for 5 *** field maze and T-maze were employed to investigate the experimental thera-peutic value of iptakalim on ischemic brain insult（n=8）.The pyramidal cells in thehippocampal CA1 regions were counted to assess the protective effects *** released from the gerbil hippocampus and PC12.cells weredetermined by *** calcium was measured by Fluo-3 AM with ABio-Rad Radiance 2.00TM confocal system in conjunction with a Nikon *** glutamate uptake measurements were determined by liq-uid scintillation ***:Iptakalim（0.5-4.0 mg/kg per day,ip）couldreduce the high locomotor activity evoked by ischemia and improve global cere-bral ischemia-induced working memory *** studies revealedthat iptakalim could increase the survival neuron in the hippocampus CA1 zone ina dose-dependent ***,iptakalim could reverse ischemia-evokedincreases of glutamate in the hippocampus of *** an in vitro study,iptakalimprotected PC12.cells against glutamate-induced excitotoxicity,reduced the[Ca2.]iincreases,and enhanced the glutamate uptake activity of primary ***:Iptakalim plays a key role in preventing global cerebralischemia-evoked insults in gerbils and glutamate-induced PC12.cell injury by *** might be a promising novel candidate for the preventionand/or treatment of stroke.

Olefin polymerization is one of the most im portant chemical reactions in *** work presents a strategy that emphasizes the synergistic meta/poro-steric hindrance of N-aryl groups and electronic effects in newly synthesized neutral salicylaldiminato nickel *** nickel(Ⅱ)catalysts exhibit exceptional thermostability,ranging from 30℃to 130℃,demonstrating enhanced catalytic activities and broadly regulated polyethylene molecular weights(3-341 kg·mol^(-1))and controlled polymer branch density(2.102.brs/1000C).The preferred catalyst Ni3 with concerted steric and electronic effects enables the production of solid-state semi-crystalline polyethylene materials at temperatures below 90℃.Notably,Ni3 exhibits an impressive tolerance of 110℃and can withstand even the challenging polymerization temperature of 130℃,leading to the production of polyethylene wax and ***,functionalized polyethylene is produced.

Experimental and computational analysis of the structure-activity relationship of ionic gel electrolytes based on bistrifluoromethanesulfonimide salts for supercapacitors

Ionic gel(IG)electrolytes are emerging as promising components for the development of next-generation supercapacitors(SCs),offering benefits in terms of safety,cost-effectiveness,and *** ionic conductivity,stability,and mechanical properties of the gel electrolyte are relevant factors to be considered and the key to improving the performance of the ***,the structure–activity relationship between the internal structure of IGs and their SC properties is not fully *** the current study,the intuitive and regular structure–activity relationship between the structure and properties of IGs was revealed via combining computational simulation and *** terms of conductivity,the ionic liquid(IL)([EMIM][TFSI])in the IG has a high self-diffusion coefficient calculated by molecular dynamics simulation(MDS),which is conductive to transfer and then improves the *** radial distribution function of the MDS shows that the larger the g(r)between the particles in the polymer network,the stronger the *** stability,IGs based on[EMIM][TFSI]and[EOMIM][TFSI]ILs have higher density functional theory calculated binding energy,which is reflected in the excellent thermal stability and excellent capacitor cycle *** on the internal pore size distribution and stress-strain characterization of the gel network([ME3MePy][TFSI]and[BMIM][TFSI]as additives),the highly crosslinked aggregate network significantly reduces the internal mesoporous distribution and plays a leading role in improving the mechanical properties of the *** using this strategy,it will be possible to design the ideal structure of the IG and achieve excellent performance.

Cone-beam computed tomography noise reduction method based on U-Net with convolutional block attention module in proton therapy

Cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT) is mostly used for position verification during the treatment process. However,severe image artifacts in CBCT hinder its direct use in dose calculation and adaptive radiation therapy re-planning for proton therapy. In this study, an improved U-Net neural network named CBAM-U-Net was proposed for CBCT noise reduction in proton therapy, which is a CBCT denoised U-Net network with convolutional block attention modules. The datasets contained 2. groups of head and neck images. The CT images were registered to CBCT images as ground truth. The original CBCT denoised U-Net network, sCTU-Net, was trained for model performance comparison. The synthetic CT(SCT) images generated by CBAM-U-Net and the original sCTU-Net are called CBAM-SCT and U-Net-SCT images, respectively. The HU accuracies of the CT, CBCT, and SCT images were compared using four metrics: mean absolute error(MAE), root mean square error(RMSE), peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR), and structure similarity index measure(SSIM). The mean values of the MAE, RMSE, PSNR, and SSIM of CBAM-SCT images were 2..80 HU, 64.63 HU, 52.2. dB, and 0.9919, respectively,which were superior to those of the U-Net-SCT images. To evaluate dosimetric accuracy, the range accuracy was compared for a single-energy proton beam. The γ-index pass rates of a 4 cm × 4 cm scanned field and simple plan were calculated to compare the effects of the noise reduction capabilities of the original U-Net and CBAM-U-Net on the dose calculation results. CBAM-U-Net reduced noise more effectively than sCTU-Net, particularly in high-density tissues. We proposed a CBAM-U-Net model for CBCT noise reduction in proton therapy. Owing to the excellent noise reduction capabilities of CBAM-U-Net, the proposed model provided relatively explicit information regarding patient tissues. Moreover, it maybe be used in dose calculation and adaptive treatment planning in the future.
