A simplified theoretical model for the linear Rayleigh-Taylor instability of finite thickness elastic-plastic solid constantly accelerated by finite thickness viscous fluid is *** the irrotational assumption,it is possible to consider viscosity,surface tension,elasticity or plasticity effects *** model considers thicknesses at rigid wall boundary conditions with the velocity potentials,and deals with solid elastic-plastic transition and fluid viscosity based on the velocity continuity and force equilibrium at contact *** complete analytical expressions of the amplitude motion equation,the growth rate,and the instability boundary are obtained for arbitrary Atwood number,viscosity,thicknesses of solid and *** thicknesses effects of two materials on the growth rate and the instability boundary are discussed.

We report the clinical and laboratory findings and successful management of seven patients with critical coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)requiring mechanical ventilation(MV).The patients were diagnosed based on epidemiological history,clinical manifestations,and nucleic acid *** diagnosis with COVID-19 of critical severity,the patients were admitted to the intensive care unit,where they received early noninvasive-invasive sequential ventilation,early prone positioning,and bundle pharmacotherapy regimen,which consists of antiviral,anti-inflammation,immune-enhancing,and complication-prophylaxis *** patients presented fever(n=7,100%),dry cough(n=3,42.9%),weakness(n=2,28.6%),chest tightness(n=1,14.3%),and/or muscle pain(n=1,14.3%).All patients had normal or lower than normal white blood cell count/lymphocyte count,and chest computed tomography scans showed bilateral patchy shadows or ground glass opacity in the *** acid testing confirmed COVID-19 in all seven *** median MV duration and intensive care unit stay were 9.9 days(interquartile range,6.5-14.6 days;range,5-17 days)and 12.9 days(interquartile range,9.7-17.6 days;range,7-19 days),*** seven patients were extubated,weaned off MV,transferred to the common ward,and discharged as of the writing of this ***,we concluded that good outcomes for patients with critical COVID-19 can be achieved with early noninvasive-invasive sequential ventilation and bundle pharmacotherapy.

Acid hydrolysis mechanisms of orientin-2＂-O-galactopyranoside（OGA）,orientin and other flavone C-glycosides in the trollflowers[Trollius chinensis Bunge） were studied in this report for the first *** parameters including temperature,acidity,solvent and reaction time were comprehensively *** could be hydrolyzed to orientin,followed by an isomerization to isoorientin via a reversible Wessely-Moser rearrangement reaction under stronger acidic conditions.A first-order kinetic model fitted the hydrolysis process of OGA *** the optimal hydrolysis conditions of 80 ℃,1.0 mol/L H^＋ and 7 h reaction time,about 77%OGA was transformed to orientin with no detectable *** results could be helpful for better understanding of the acid hydrolysis kinetics of flavone C-glycosides,as well as the preparation of these valuable components under controlled acid hydrolysis conditions.

Clarifying how radial gap affects the vibration characteristic of a disc-like structure is of importance in engineering applications,such as in evaluating the operational stability of a runner of a pump *** the present investigation,the runner is simplified as a disc,and a physical experiment is designed on it with variable radial gaps to measure the vibration characteristics,especially by considering *** frequency peaks for the diametrical mode are generated due to the rotation,and those with lower and higher frequencies are defined as positive and negative modes,*** frequency difference between positive and negative modes increases linearly with the increasing rotating speed,and a linear function is captured to describe the relationship between natural frequency and rotating *** the radial gap,its increase causes a slight increase in the natural frequencies but results in a significant reduction in the hydrodynamic damping *** in the smaller radial gap conditions,such as when the relative radial gap increases from 0.67%to 3.3%,the reduction in hydrodynamic damping ratio reaches 31.52%.From the perspective of suppressing the resonance amplitude,reducing the radial gap of a runner is recommended due to the mechanism of increasing hydrodynamic damping.

Background Many types of human tumors can suppress the immune system to enhance their survival. Loss or down-regulation of human leukocyte antigens （HLA） class I on tumors is considered to be a major mechanism of tumor immune escape. Our previous studies found that HLA class I on peripheral-blood mononuclear cells was significantly lower in gastric cancer patients. The present study made an analysis of HLA class I expression on peripheral-blood T lymphocytes and NK cells from subjects of Lijiadian village, a village with high-incidence gastrointestinal tumor. Methods A total of 181 villagers from Lijiadian village and 153 normal controls from the Department of Health Examination Center were enrolled in this study. Using a multi-tumor markers detection system, these villagers were divided into two groups： high-risk group （tumor markers positive group） and low-risk group （tumor markers negative group）. The percentage of T lymphocytes and NK cells and levels of HLA class I on their surface were determined in these subjects by flow cytometry. Results Percentages of T lymphocytes and NK cells in peripheral-blood mononuclear cells did not vary with age. The expression level of HLA class I on peripheral T lymphocytes and NK cells was not affected by age or gender, but was significantly down-regulated in Lijiadian villagers （P 〈0.05）, with the low-risk group, there was a significant reduction of cells （P 〈0.05） in the high-risk group. especially on the surface of NK cells （P 〈0.01）. Compared HLA class I on peripheral T lymphocytes （P 〈0.05） and NK Conclusions HLA class I on peripheral T lymphocytes and NK cells may be involved in tumorigenesis and development of gastrointestinal tumor, and understanding their changes in expression may provide new insights into the mechanism of tumor immunity.
