In this study, the effects of a diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC) coupled with a catalyzed diesel particulate filter(CDPF) with different catalyst loadings on the power, fuel consumption,gaseous and particulate emissions from a non-road diesel engine were investigated. Results showed that the after-treatment had a negligible effect on the power and fuel *** reduction effect of the DOC on the CO and hydrocarbon(HC) increased with the engine load. Further reductions occurred coupling with the CDPF. Increasing the catalyst loading resulted in a more significant reduction in the HC emissions than CO emissions. The DOC could increase the NO_(2)proportion to 37.9%, and more NO_(2)was produced when coupled with the CDPF below 250℃;above 250℃, more NO_(2)was consumed. The after-treatment could reduce more than 99% of the particle number(PN) and 98% of the particle mass(PM).Further reductions in the PN and PM occurred with a higher CDPF catalyst loading. The DOC had a better reduction effect on the nucleation particles than the accumulation ones, but the trend reversed with the CDPF. The DOC shifted the particle size distribution(PSD) to larger particles with an accumulation particle proportion increasing from 13% to 20%, and the geometric mean diameter(GMD) increased from 18.2 to 26.0 nm. The trend reversed with the CDPF and the accumulation particle proportion declined to less than 10%. A lower catalyst loading on the CDPF led to a higher proportion of nucleation particles and a smaller GMD.

Magnesium(Mg)is the fourth most abundant element in the human body and is important in terms of specific osteogenesis ***,we provide a comprehensive review of the use of magnesium-based biomaterials(MBs)in bone *** review the history of MBs and their excellent biocompatibility,biodegradability and osteopromotive properties,highlighting them as candidates for a new generation of biodegradable orthopedic *** particular,the results reported in the field-specific literature(280 articles)in recent decades are dissected with respect to the extensive variety of MBs for orthopedic applications,including Mg/Mg alloys,bioglasses,bioceramics,and polymer *** also summarize the osteogenic mechanism of MBs,including a detailed section on the physiological process,namely,the enhanced osteogenesis,promotion of osteoblast adhesion and motility,immunomodulation,and enhanced ***,the merits and limitations of current bone grafts and substitutes are *** objective of this review is to reveal the strong potential of MBs for their use as agents in bone repair and regeneration and to highlight issues that impede their clinical ***,the development and challenges of MBs for transplanted orthopedic materials are discussed.

The common design of serial civil aircraft, an important strategy of modern civil aircraft research and develop-ment, minimizes the whole life cycle cost of civil aircraft through asset reuse and resource sharing. However, the existing estimating model for the R&D cost of civil aircraft ignores the effects of common design, so the value estimated by estimating derivative models is significantly inconsistent with the actual one. To solve this problem, a novel assessment method for civil aircraft commonality indicators is developed based on fuzzy set in the present study, exploiting the attributes and structural parameters of the aircraft to be assessed as input to determine the degree of membership that pertains to the commonality sub-interval as the commonality *** the BP(Back Propagation) neural network algorithm is adopted to establish the relationship between the common index and the decrease rate of the R&D cost of derivative models. The model employs over a dozen typical civil aircraft models(e.g., Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier) as the sample data for network learning training to build a mature neural network model for estimating the R&D cost of novel derivative models. As revealed from the comparative analysis on the calculated results of the samples, the estimated results of the model given the effects of commonality in the present study exhibit higher estimation accuracy and value for future work.

This paper proposes a novel motion planning and tracking framework based on improved artificial potential fields(APFs) and a lane change strategy to enhance the performance of the active collision avoidance systems of autonomous vehicles on structured roads. First, an improved APF-based hazard evaluation module, which is inspired by discrete optimization, is established to describe driving hazards in the Frenet-Serret coordinate. Next, a strategy for changing lane is developed in accordance with the characteristics of the gradient descent method(GDM). On the basis of the potential energy distribution of the target obstacle and road boundaries, GDM is utilized to generate the path for changing lane. In consideration of the safety threats of traffic participants, the effects of other obstacles on safety are taken as additional safety constraints when the lane-changing speed profile for ego vehicles is designed. Then, after being mapped into the Cartesian coordinate, the feasible trajectory is sent to the tracking layer, where a proportional-integral control and model predictive control(PI-MPC) based coordinated controller is applied. Lastly, several cases composed of different road geometrics and obstacles are tested to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Results illustrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve active collision avoidance in complex traffic scenarios.

In present study,a novel organic depressant N-thiourea-maleamic acid(TMA)was synthesized and applied as a galena depressant in the flotation separation of Mo-Pb *** depression behaviors of TMA were tested through flotation experiments.A wider separation window for single minerals over 90.0%was obtained at 30.0 mg/L TMA,confirming that TMA could depress galena significantly,while effected molybdenite floatability *** effective separation was obtained for artificially mixed minerals and actual Mo-Pb *** adsorption mechanism on galena was revealed by UV-Vis spectra,zeta potential tests,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)analysis,contact angle tests and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** zeta potentials of galena became more negative and the contact angle of galena dropped from initial 74.36°to 57.8°with 30.0 mg/L TMA depressant,inferring that TMA had adsorbed on galena *** analysis results of UV-Vis spectra,FT-IR and XPS gave further evidence that TMA might chemisorb on galena surface via Pb sites on galena surface and the thiourea group in TMA molecular structure,while the carboxyl group played a role of hydrophilicity.

Deep matrix factorization(DMF)has been demonstrated to be a powerful tool to take in the complex hierarchical information of multi-view data(MDR).However,existing multiview DMF methods mainly explore the consistency of multi-view data,while neglecting the diversity among different views as well as the high-order relationships of data,resulting in the loss of valuable complementary *** this paper,we design a hypergraph regularized diverse deep matrix factorization(HDDMF)model for multi-view data representation,to jointly utilize multi-view diversity and a high-order manifold in a multilayer factorization framework.A novel diversity enhancement term is designed to exploit the structural complementarity between different views of *** regularization is utilized to preserve the high-order geometry structure of data in each *** efficient iterative optimization algorithm is developed to solve the proposed model with theoretical convergence *** results on five real-world data sets demonstrate that the proposed method significantly outperforms stateof-the-art multi-view learning approaches.

Objective:To investigate association between glutathione S-transferases(GSTs) and cervical ***:Published literature from PubMed,EMBASE,and other databases were *** studies evaluating the association between GSTM l/GSTTl polymorphisms and cervical were *** odds ratio(OR) and 95%confidence interval(CI) were calculated using fixed- or random-effects ***:A total of 15 case-control studies were included in the meta-analysis of GSTM1 genotypes(1825 cases and 2 104 controls).The overall result showed that the association between GSTM 1 null genotype and risk for cervical cancer was statistically significant(OR= 1.53,95%CI= 1.18-2.00).Great heterogeneity was found between *** analysises were performed based on smoking and *** results showed that smokers with null CSTM1 genotype had higher risk of cervical cancer(0R=1.56,95%CI=l.01- 2.41).For the ethnicity stratification,significant increased risk of null GSTM1 genotype was found in Chinese and Indian population,but no increased risk in other ***:This meta-analysis provides strong evidence that the GSTM1 null genotype is associated with the development of cervical cancer,and especially in Chinese and Indian population,and smoking shows a modification on the association between GSTM 1 null genotype and cervical cancer.

Screening of diverse cassava genotypes based on nitrogen uptake efficiency and yield

As one of the top three tuber crops of the world, cassava is a staple food and feed crop for tropical and subtropical regions. Because of its high drought resistance and tolerance to nutrient deficiency, cassava is usually cultivated on hilly areas that are nutrient-poor. Nitrogen(N) is one of the significant factors affecting cassava yield. A double factorial(N level×genotypes) split-plot field experiment was conducted to analyze differences in yield and N accumulation of 25 cassava genotypes under low-N conditions to screen for cassava genotypes with high-N efficiency. The two-year field experiment showed that cassava yield and N accumulation are determined by specific genotypes, soil N levels, and year. Among these factors, soil N levels are the main factors that are responsible for differences in cassava yield. When yield and relative N accumulation under low-N conditions were used as screening markers, we identified an efficient and responsive genotype(SC10), and two inefficient and non-responsive genotypes(SC205 and GR5). The efficient and responsive genotype and the inefficient and non-responsive genotype can be used as study materials to further reveal the mechanisms for high-N efficiency in cassava.

A Hyper-Heuristic Framework for Lifetime Maximization in Wireless Sensor Networks With A Mobile Sink

Maximizing the lifetime of wireless sensor networks(WSNs) is an important and challenging research problem. Properly scheduling the movements of mobile sinks to balance the energy consumption of wireless sensor network is one of the most effective approaches to prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor networks. However, the existing mobile sink scheduling methods either require a great amount of computational time or lack effectiveness in finding high-quality scheduling solutions. To address the above issues, this paper proposes a novel hyperheuristic framework, which can automatically construct high-level heuristics to schedule the sink movements and prolong the network lifetime. In the proposed framework, a set of low-level heuristics are defined as building blocks to construct high-level heuristics and a set of random networks with different features are designed for training. Further, a genetic programming algorithm is adopted to automatically evolve promising high-level heuristics based on the building blocks and the training networks. By using the genetic programming to evolve more effective heuristics and applying these heuristics in a greedy scheme, our proposed hyper-heuristic framework can prolong the network lifetime competitively with other methods, with small time consumption. A series of comprehensive experiments, including both static and dynamic networks,are designed. The simulation results have demonstrated that the proposed method can offer a very promising performance in terms of network lifetime and response time.
