Responses of growth performance,antioxidant function,small intestinal morphology and mRNA expression of jejunal tight junction protein to dietary iron in yellow-feathered broilers

This study aimed to investigate the dose-effect of iron on growth performance,antioxidant *** morphology,and mRNA expression of jejunal tight junction protein in 1-to21-d-old yellow-feathered broilers.A total of 7201-d-old yellow-feathered maleb roilers were allocated to 9 treatments with 8 replicate cages of 10 birds per *** dietary treatments were consisted of a basal diet(contained 79.6 mg Fe kg^(-1))supplemented with 0,20,40,60,80,160,320,640,and 1,280 mg Fe kg^(-1)in the form of FeSO_(4)·7H_(2)*** with the birds in the control group,birds supplemented with 20mg Fe kg^(-1)had higher average daily gain(ADG)(Plus height(VH)in duodenum and jejunum,and the ratio of villus height to crypt depth(V/C)in duodenum decreased linearly(P?0.05)as dietary *** dietary Fe increased,the jejunal relative mRNA abundance of claudin-1 decreased linearly(P=0.001),but the jejunal relative mRNA abundance of zona occludens-1(ZO-1)and occludin decreased linearly(P?0.05)or quadratically(P?0.05).Compared with the supplementation of 20 mg Fe kg^(-1),the supplementation of640 mg Fe kg^(-1)or higher increased(P?0.05)MDA concentrations in plasma,duodenum,and jejunum,decreased VH in the duodenum and jejunum,and the addition of 1,280 mg Fe kg^(-1)reduced(P?0.05)the jejunal tight junction protein(claudin-1,ZO-1,occludin)mRNA *** summary,640 mg of supplemental Fe kg^(-1)or greater was associated with decreased growth performance,increased oxidative stress,disrupted intestinal morphology,and reduced mRNA expression of jejunal tight junction protein.

Modified multiple-component scattering power decomposition for PolSAR data based on eigenspace of coherency matrix

A modified multiple-component scattering power decomposition for analyzing polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) data is proposed. The modified decomposition involves two distinct steps. Firstly, eigenvectors of the coherency matrix are used to modify the scattering models. Secondly, the entropy and anisotropy of targets are used to improve the volume scattering power. With the guarantee of high double-bounce scattering power in the urban areas, the proposed algorithm effectively improves the volume scattering power of vegetation areas. The efficacy of the modified multiple-component scattering power decomposition is validated using actual AIRSAR PolSAR data. The scattering power obtained through decomposing the original coherency matrix and the coherency matrix after orientation angle compensation is compared with three algorithms. Results from the experiment demonstrate that the proposed decomposition yields more effective scattering power for different PolSAR data sets.

Strengthening effect of prefabrication(10-12)tensile twinning on AZ80+0.4%Ce magnesium alloy and inhibition mechanism of discontinuous precipitation

This paper provided an effective method to further improve the mechanical properties of the AZ80+0.4%Ce magnesium alloy wheel *** effect of high strength and ductility was obtained with a yield strength of 295.36 MPa,an elongation of 10%,by the combination of pre-deformation(7%deformation)and two-stage aging treatment(120℃/9 h+175℃/24 h).The evolution of the microstructure and properties of the alloy was explored under the coupling conditions of different pre-deformation degrees and multi-stage *** results show that,pre-deformation introduced a large number of(1012)tensile twinning and dislocations,which greatly promoted the probability of continuous precipitates(CPs)*** the contrary,the discontinuous precipitates(DPs)were limited by the vertical and horizontal twin *** a result,the pre-nucleation method of two-stage aging increased the proportion of CPs by 34%-38%.Owing to the DPs was effectively suppressed,the alloy's yield strength has been greatly ***,under multi-stage aging,the twin boundaries induce protruding nucleation to form static recrystallization by hindering the migration of dislocations,and the matrix swallows the twins,then the texture gradually tilts from the two poles to the basal *** an important supplement,the grain refinement and oblique texture promoted the improvement of the yield strength of the component.

Two new and convenient methods using triphenyl phosphite or sodium dithionite todeoxygenate triphenylarsine oxide to triphenylarsine are described.P NMR spectra was used tostudy the reactivity of triphenylphosphite and triphenylphosphine in deoxygenating triphenylarsineoxide,pyridine-N-oxide and dimethyl sulroxide and the influence of complex MoO[SCN（CH）]on the *** mechanisms of above reactions are briefly discussed.

One-step growth of ultrathin CoSe_(2)nanobelts on N-doped MXene nanosheets for dendrite-inhibited and kinetic-accelerated lithium-sulfur chemistry

The practical application of lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries is inhibited by the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)and slow polysulfide redox kinetics on the S cathode as well as the uncontrollable growth of dendrites on the Li metal ***,both cathode and anode sides must be considered when modifying LiS ***,two-dimensional(2D)ultrathin CoSe_(2)nanobelts are in situ grown on 2D N-doped MXene nanosheets(CoSe_(2)@N-MXene)via one-step solvothermal process for the first *** to its unique 2D/2D structure,CoSe_(2)@N-MXene can be processed to crumpled nanosheets by freeze-drying and flexible and freestanding films by vacuum *** crumpled CoSe_(2)@NMXene nanosheets with abundant active sites and inner spaces can act as S hosts to accelerate polysulfide redox kinetics and suppress the shuttle effect of LiPSs owing to their strong adsorption ability and catalytic conversion effect with ***,the CoSe_(2)@N-MXene film(CoSe_(2)@NMF)can act as a current collector to promote uniform Li deposition because it contains lithiophilic CoSe_(2)and N *** the systematic effect of CoSe_(2)@N-MXene on S cathode and Li metal anode,the electrochemical and safety performance of Li–S batteries are ***_(2)@NMF also shows excellent storage performances in flexible energy storage devices.

In this paper,the problem of online distributed optimization subject to a convex set is studied via a network of *** agent only has access to a noisy gradient of its own objective function,and can communicate with its neighbors via a *** handle this problem,an online distributed stochastic mirror descent algorithm is *** works on online distributed algorithms involving stochastic gradients only provide the expectation bounds of the *** from them,we study the high probability bound of the regrets,i.e.,the sublinear bound of the regret is characterized by the natural logarithm of the failure probability's *** mild assumptions on the graph connectivity,we prove that the dynamic regret grows sublinearly with a high probability if the deviation in the minimizer sequence is sublinear with the square root of the time ***,a simulation is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

Renewable biosynthesis of isoprene from wastewater through a synthetic biology approach:the role of individual organic compounds

The biosynthesis of isoprene offers a more sustainable alternative to fossil fuel-based approaches,yet its success has been largely limited to pure organic compounds and the cost remains a *** study proposes a waste-to-wealth strategy for isoprene biosynthesis utilizing genetically engineered *** bacteria to convert organic waste from real food *** impact of organic compounds present in wastewater on *** growth and isoprene production was systematically *** results demonstrated that with filtration pretreatment of wastewater,isoprene yield,and production achieved 115 mg/g COD and 7.1 mg/(L·h),***,even without pretreatment,isoprene yield only decreased by~24%,indicating promising ***,maltose,glycerol,and lactate are effective substrates for isoprene biosynthesis,whereas starch,protein,and acetate do not support *** *** optimum C/N ratio for isoprene production was found to be 8:***,augmenting essential nutrients in wastewater elevated the isoprene yield increased to 159 mg/g *** wastewater biosynthesis significantly reduced the cost(44%–53%decrease,p-valuelue<0.01)compared with both sugar fermentation and fossil fuel–based *** study introduced a more sustainable and economically viable approach to isoprene synthesis,offering an avenue for resource recovery from wastewater.

Surface iodine and pyrenyl-graphdiyne co-modified Bi catalysts for highly efficient CO_(2) electroreduction in acidic electrolyte

CO_(2) electroreduction to formic acid/formate would contribute to alleviating the energy and climate *** work reports a Bi-based catalyst derived from the in-situ electroreduction of Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3) modified with iodine and pyrenyl-graphdiyne(PGDY)on the surface for efficient electroreduction of CO_(2) in acidic electrolyte,with a high partial current density of 98.71 mA·cm^(-2) and high Faradaic efficiency(FE)>90%over the potential range from^(-1).2 to-1.5 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),as well as the long-term operational stability over 240 h without degradation in H-type *** results and density function theory calculations show that the synergistic effect of surface iodine and PGDY is responsible for this active and extremely stable process of CO_(2) electroreduction via lowering the energy barriers for formation of*OCHO intermediate,suppressing the competitive HER by enhancing the concentration of both K+and CO_(2) at reaction interface,as well as preventing the dissolution and re-deposition of active Bi atoms on surface during catalytic *** work provides new insight into designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts for CO_(2) reduction.

Variational data encoding and correlations in quantum-enhanced machine learning

Leveraging the extraordinary phenomena of quantum superposition and quantum correlation, quantum computing offers unprecedented potential for addressing challenges beyond the reach of classical computers. This paper tackles two pivotal challenges in the realm of quantum computing: firstly, the development of an effective encoding protocol for translating classical data into quantum states, a critical step for any quantum computation. Different encoding strategies can significantly influence quantum computer performance. Secondly, we address the need to counteract the inevitable noise that can hinder quantum acceleration. Our primary contribution is the introduction of a novel variational data encoding method, grounded in quantum regression algorithm models. By adapting the learning concept from machine learning, we render data encoding a learnable process. This allowed us to study the role of quantum correlation in data encoding. Through numerical simulations of various regression tasks, we demonstrate the efficacy of our variational data encoding, particularly post-learning from instructional data. Moreover, we delve into the role of quantum correlation in enhancing task performance, especially in noisy environments. Our findings underscore the critical role of quantum correlation in not only bolstering performance but also in mitigating noise interference, thus advancing the frontier of quantum computing.
