During the Late Paleozoic,West Junggar(Xinjiang,NW China)experienced a shift in tectonic setting from compression to ***'erjiao is an important area for investigating collisional structures,post–collisional structures,and magmatic *** on the petrological and geochemical characteristics of pyroclastic and other volcanic rocks in the Permian Kalagang Formation from the borehole ZKH1205 in the Jimunai Basin,the main types of source rock for the pyroclastic rocks deposited in the basin are identified and their implications for the Early Permian tectonic setting *** abundance of basalt and andesite lithic fragments in the pyroclastic rocks,together with the REE characteristics and the contents of transition and high field strength elements show that the source rocks were chiefly intermediate–basic volcanic *** ICV values,low CIA values,low Rb/Sr ratios,low Th/U ratios and the mineralogical features suggest weak chemical weathering of the source rocks;the geochemical patterns of the pyroclastic rocks might not only have been impacted by crustal contamination but also might be related to the nature of the magma from the source *** geochemical properties of the pyroclastic rocks distinguish them from arc-related ones,and such samples plot in the within-plate basalt(WPB)field in some *** is consistent with the formation background of the Early Permian volcanic rocks in this region.

目的临床数据分析旨在比较“8针法”针灸治疗与经典的中医针灸治疗LDH,得出的治疗方法有更高的症状改善腰椎间盘突出症的治疗以及试图找到一个更有效的LDH的针灸技术。方法收集2020年4月至2020年11月被确诊为腰椎间盘突出症(LDH)的患者,60例。随机分为组1(n=30)和组2(n=30)。组1采用“8针法”针灸治疗。组2采用传统针刺疗法治疗。两组治疗频率均为每周2次,间隔3～4天,共6周。12个疗程为一个疗程。每次治疗持续时间为30分钟。采用视觉模拟评分(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)、日本骨科协会评分(Japan Orthopedic Association Score,JOA)、Roland-Morris 残障问卷工作天数(Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire Work days,RMDQ)、Oswestry 残障指数问卷(Oswestry Disability Index,ODIQ)和MRI对两组的结果进行评估。数据分析在患者完成一个疗程后进行。结果本研究显示,经过一个疗程后,两组患者疼痛、功能和生活质量水平(VAS、JOA、RMDQ、ODIQ)均有统计学意义的改善(p<.001)。然而,发现接受8针治疗方法的患者,疼痛显著降低(M=.20,SE=.20)(p=.008),功能水平、完成生理和社会活动(ODIQ)(M=.07,SE=.01)(p=.001)较接受传统治疗的高(M=1.03,SE=.23)(p=.008),ODIQ(M=.10,SE=0.2)(p=.001)。试验还显示,在VAS中,8针法治疗在6次治疗后达到最佳结果VAS(M=.20,SE=.20)(p<.001),而传统治疗仅在12次治疗后达到最佳结果VAS(M=1.03,SE=.23)(p<.001)。8针法疗法各指标均有较高的得分:VAS(M=.20,SE=.20)(p<.001);JOA(M=28.60,SE=.40);RMDQ(M=.27,SE=.27):ODIQ(M=.07,SE=.01)(p<.001),优于传统治疗(M=1.03,SE=.23)(p<.001);JOA(M=27.57,SE=.52);RMDQ(M=.53,SE=.53);ODIQ(M=.10,SE=.02)(p<.001)。两组间JOA和RMDQ差异无统计学意义结论对于腰椎间盘突出症(LDH)轻中度患者,“八针法”是更有效的非手术方法。

We read with great interest the paper by Miyata et ***:The Impact of Histologic Liver Inflammation on Oncology and the Prognosis of Patients Undergoing Hepatectomy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma(1).In this single center retrospective study,the authors included 500 patients undergoing curative surgical liver resection for primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)without any neoadjuvant *** liver specimen underwent postoperative pathological analysis to identify fibrosis but also lymphocyte infiltration and hepatocyte necrosis as surrogate marker for hepatic *** hepatic inflammation was graded from A0:no necro-inflammatory reaction,to A3:severe necro-inflammatory *** follow-up was 47.3 ***,19.4%of the patients had severe liver inflammation A3(n=97)and presented with higher postoperative morbidity and reduced overall and recurrence-free survival compared to patients with none to moderate inflammation A0-A2(n=403).Furthermore,inflammation grade A3 was an independent predictor of HCC recurrence independent of underlying liver disease and fibrosis grade.

Hepatitis C virus(HCV)is a blood-borne pathogen that has a worldwide distribution and infects millions of ***-associated HCV infections represented a huge part of hepatitis C burden in the past via contaminated blood and unsafe injections and continue to be a serious problem of public *** present review proposes a panorama of health care-associated HCV infections via the three mode of contamination that have been identified:(1)infected patient to non-infected patient;(2)infected patient to non-infected health careworker(HCW);and(3)infected HCW to non infected *** each condition,the circumstances of contamination are described together with the means to prevent *** a whole,the more important risk is represented by unsafe practices regarding injections,notably with the improper use of multidose vials used for multiple *** questions of occupational exposures and infected HCWs are also *** terms of prevention and surveillance,the main arm for combating care-associated HCV infections is the implementation of standard precautions in all the fields of cares,with training programs and audits to verify their good *** must be sensitized to the risk of blood-borne pathogens,notably by the use of safety devices for injections and good hygiene practices in the operating theatre and in all the invasive *** providers performing exposed-prone procedures must monitor their HCV serology regularly in order to detect early any primary infection and to treat it without *** the need to stay vigilant because HCV infection is often a hidden risk,it can be hoped that the number of people infected by HCV via health care will decrease very significantly in the next years.

Assessing the extent of community spread caused by mink-derived SARS-CoV-2 variants

SARS-CoV-2 has recently been found to have spread from humans to minks and then to have transmitted back to ***,it is unknown to what extent the human-to-human transmission caused by the variant has ***,we used publicly available SARS-CoV-2 genomic sequences from both humans and minks collected in Denmark and the Netherlands,and combined phylogenetic analysis with Bayesian inference under an epidemiological model,to trace the possibility of person-to-person *** results showed that at least 12.5%of all people being infected with dominated minkderived SARS-CoV-2 variants in Denmark and the Netherlands were caused by human-to-human transmission,indicating that this“backto-human”SARS-CoV-2 variant has already caused human-to-human *** study also indicated the need for monitoring this mink-derived and other animal source“back-to-human”SARS-CoV-2 in future and that prevention and control measures should be tailored to avoid large-scale community transmission caused by the virus jumping between animals and humans.

Adalimumab induction therapy for ulcerative colitis with intolerance or lost response to infliximab: An open-label study

AIM: To evaluate the efficacy of adalimumab induction therapy in patients with ulcerative colitis who previously responded to infliximab and then lost response or became intolerant. METHODS: Ten patients with ulcerative colitis were enrolled in a 4-wk open-label trial. The patients received a loading dose of 160 mg adalimumab at wk 0 followed by 80 mg at wk 2. The primary efficacy measure was clinical improvement at wk 4, as defined by a decrease in clinical activity index (CAI) of more than 4. RESULTS: Four of 10 patients (40%) benefited from subsequent adalimumab therapy; one patient achieved remission (CAI 12) at baseline, none achieved remission and only one patient had clinical improvement at wk 4. CONCLUSION: The small advantage of adalimumab in patients with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis and lost response or intolerance to infliximab needs to be confirmed in randomised, double-blind, placebo- controlled trials.
