BACKGROUND Lymphangiomas in the gastrointestinal tract are extremely rare in *** a benign lesion,small intestine lymphangiomas often remain asymptomatic and pose challenges for definitive ***,lymphangiomas can give rise to complications such as abdominal pain,bleeding,volvulus,and ***,we report a case of jejunal cavernous lymphangioma that presented with intermittent melena and refractory anemia in a male *** SUMMARY A 66-year-old man presented with intermittent melena,fatigue and refractory anemia nine months *** and colonoscopy were performed many times and revealed no apparent *** management,including transfusion,hemostasis,gastric acid secretion inhibition and symptomatic treatment,was performed,but the lesions tended to recur shortly after ***,the patient underwent capsule endoscopy,which revealed a more than 10 cm lesion accompanied by active *** singleballoon enteroscopy and biopsy,a diagnosis of jejunal cavernous lymphangioma was confirmed,and the patient underwent surgical *** complications or recurrences were observed *** Jejunal cavernous lymphangioma should be considered a cause of obscure gastrointestinal *** endoscopy and single-balloon enteroscopy can facilitate *** resection is an effective management method.

The coating-modified magnesium(Mg)alloys exhibit controllable corrosion resistance,but the insufficient antibacterial performance limits their clinical applications as degradable *** coatings show excellent performance in terms of both corrosion resistance and inhibition of bacterial adhesion and *** this work,a hydroxyapatite(HA)/palmitic acid(pA)superhydrophobic composite coating was fabricated on the Mg alloy by the hydrothermal technique and immersion *** HA/pA composite coating showed superhydrophobicity with a contact angle of 153°and a sliding angle of 2°.The coated Mg alloy exhibited excellent corrosion resistance in the simulated body fluid,with high polarization resistance(77.10 kΩ·cm^(2))and low corrosion current density((0.491±0.015)μA·cm^(-2)).Meanwhile,the antibacterial efficiency of the composite coating was over 98% against *** and *** in different *** results indicate that the construction of such superhydrophobic composite coating(HA/pA)on the Mg alloy can greatly improve the corrosion resistance of Mg alloy implants within the human body and avoid bacterial infection during the initial stages of implantation.

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a systemic autoimmune disease that is primarily manifested as synovitis and polyarticular opacity and typically leads to serious joint damage and irreversible disability,thus adversely affecting locomotion ability and life ***,good prognosis heavily relies on the early diagnosis and effective therapeutic monitoring of *** fluorescent probes play vital roles in the detection and imaging of biomarkers for disease diagnosis and in vivo ***,we review the fluorescent probes developed for the detection and imaging of RA biomarkers,namely reactive oxygen/nitrogen species(hypochlorous acid,peroxynitrite,hydroxyl radical,nitroxyl),pH,and cysteine,and address the related challenges and prospects to inspire the design of novel fluorescent probes and the improvement of their performance in RA studies.

Antibacterial resistance is a global health threat that requires further concrete action on the part of all *** this context,one of the biggest concerns is whether enough new antibacterial drugs are being discovered and *** several high-quality reviews on clinical antibacterial drug pipelines from a global perspective were published recently,none provides comprehensive information on original antibacterial drugs at clinical stages in *** this review,we summarize the latest progress of novel antibacterial drugs approved for marketing and under clinical evaluation in China since *** was obtained by consulting official websites,searching commercial databases,retrieving literature,asking personnel from institutions or companies,and other means,and a considerable part of the data covered here has not been included in other *** of June 30,2023,a total of 20 antibacterial projects from 17 Chinese pharmaceutical companies or developers were identified and *** them,two new antibacterial drugs that belong to traditional antibiotic classes were approved by the National Medical products Administration(NMpA)in China in 2019 and 2021,respectively,and 18 antibacterial agents are in clinical development,with one under regulatory evaluation,five in phase-3,six in phase-2,and six in *** of the clinical candidates are new analogs or monocomponents of traditional antibacterial pharmacophore types,including two dual-acting hybrid antibiotics and a recombinant antibacterial ***,despite there being 17 antibacterial clinical candidates,our analysis indicates that there are still relatively few clinically differentiated antibacterial agents in stages of clinical development in ***,Chinese pharmaceutical companies and institutions will develop more innovative and clinically differentiated candidates with good market potential in the future research and development(R&D)of original antibacterial drugs.

AIM:To investigate the types of bacteria in patients with eye infections in Suzhou and their drug resistance to commonly used antibacterial ***:The clinical data of 155 patients were retrospectively collected in this study,and the pathogenic bacteria species and drug resistance of each pathogenic bacteria were ***:Among the 155 patients(age from 12 to 87 years old,with an average age of 57,99 males and 56 females)with eye infections(160 eyes:74 in the left eye,76 in the right eye and 5 in both eyes,all of which were exogenous),71(45.81%)strains were gram-positive bacteria,23(14.84%)strains were gram-negative bacteria and 61(39.35%)strains were ***-positive bacteria were highly resistant to penicillin and erythromycin(78.87%and 46.48%respectively),but least resistant to vancomycin at ***-negative bacteria were highly resistant to cefoxitin and compound sulfamethoxazole(100%and 95.65%respectively),but least resistant to meropenem at *** of the resistance of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria to some drugs revealed statistically significant differences(ppositive *** distribution of bacterial infection strains showed that Staphylococcus epidermidis was the most common strain in the conjunctiva,cornea,aqueous humor or vitreous body and other eye ***,Fusarium and pseudomonas aeruginosa were also among the most common strains of conjunctival and corneal ***:Gram-positive bacteria are the dominant bacteria in eye infections,followed by gram-negative bacteria and *** the resistance of gramnegative bacteria to multiple drugs,monitoring of bacteria should be strengthened in eye bacterial infections for effective prevention and control to reduce complications caused by eye infections.

The high-quality gate dielectric on silicon carbide （SiC） surface is critical to fabricate high-performance SiC metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors（MOSFETs）.This research employs microwave plasma annealing （MpA） to obtain high-quality Al2O3/SiC gate *** designing MpA atmosphere and optimizing the plasma power,the SiC MOS capacitor with a Al2O3dielectric film shows the enhanced *** interface state density is reduced by 1 order of magnitude to 6×1011cm-2·eV-1,the breakdown electric field is increased,and the voltage shift is effectively suppressed Besides,the mechanism of MpA process is discussed in terms of the thermal effect and reactant species.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XpS） results unveil oxygen plasma plays the main *** plasma power during the MpA process results in defect repairs of the firstneighbor Al-O bonding and partial removal of Al-O-H bond from the interface *** study demonstrates that MpA process is an effective option to realize highquality dielectric and interface on SiC.

perovskite solar cells(pSCs)have emerged as a promising photovoltaic technology because of their high light absorption coefficient,long carrier diffusion distance,and tunable ***,pSCs face challenges such as hysteresis effects and stability *** this study,we introduced a novel approach to improve film crystallization by leveraging 4-tert-butylpyridine(TBp)molecules,thereby enhancing the performance and stability of *** findings demonstrate the effective removal of pbI_(2)from the perovskite surface through strong coordination with TBp ***,by carefully adjusting the concentration of the TBp solution,we achieved enhanced film crystallinity without disrupting the perovskite *** TBp-treated perovskite films exhibit a low defect density,improved crystallinity,and improved carrier *** a result,the pSCs manufactured with TBp treatment achieve power conversion efficiency(pCE)exceeding 24%.Moreover,we obtained the pCE of 21.39%for the 12.25 cm^(2)module.
