In practice, the unknown parameters are often restricted. This paper provides a general method for constructing the fiducial intervals of the restricted parameters. Applying the general method, the fiducial intervals are constructed for the location (scale)parameters and the difference (ratio) of two locations (scales) in a location (scale) family of distributions. The frequency properties of these intervals are verified. For a variance components model, the fiducial intervals for the three parameters of common interest are obtained. Their frequency properties are investigated theoretically and computationally.

The one-sided and two-sided hypotheses about the parametric component in partially linear model are considered in this paper. Generalized p-values are proposed based on fiducial method for testing the two hypotheses at the presence of nonparametric nuisance parameter. Note that the nonparametric component can be approximated by a linear combination of some known functions, thus, the partially linear model can be approximated by a linear model. Thereby, generalized p-values for a linear model are studied first, and then the results are extended to the situation of partially linear model. Small sample frequency properties are analyzed theoretically. Meanwhile, simulations are conducted to assess the finite sample performance of the tests based on the proposed p-values.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of a modified Banxia Xiexin decoction(MBXD) plus chemotherapy on postoperative adverse reaction in patients with stage Ⅲ colon cancer in patients whose symptoms were identified as cold-heat complicated pattern in terms of the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS: A prospective non-randomized control study of patients with stage Ⅲ colon cancer in beijing Shijitan Hospital and Guang'anmen Hospital between January 2012 and December 2013. A total of 80 patients were divided into experimental group(MBXD + chemotherapy) and control group(chemotherapy). The adverse reactions, life quality and disease-free survival(DFS) were compared between the two ***: The cold-heat complex pattern was released in 94.3% of patients in experimental group whereas 62.2% in control group(P life quality was improved in 24 vs 14 cases, stabilized in 9 vs14 cases whereas decreased in 2 vs 15 cases in experimental group and control group, respectively(P lieve clinical symptoms, reduce chemotherapy associated adverse effects, improve life quality, and prolong DFS of patients with stage Ⅲ colon cancer(cold-heat complicated pattern).

Aims Carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)stoichiometry strongly affect functions and nutrient cycling within ***,the related researches in shrubs were very *** this study,we aimed to inves-tigate leaf stoichiometry and its driving factors in shrubs,and whether stoichiometry significantly differs among closely related *** We analyzed leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in 32 species of Ericaceae from 161 sites across southern *** examined the relationships of leaf stoichiometry with environmen-tal variables using linear regressions,and quantified the interactive and independent effects of climate,soil and species on foliar stoi-chiometry using general linear models(GLM).Important Findings The foliar C,N and P contents of Ericaceae were 484.66,14.44 and 1.06 mg g−1,*** C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in Ericaceae were significantly related with latitude and altitude,except the N:P insignificantly correlated with ***(mean annual temperature and precipitation)and soil properties(soil C,N and P and bulk density)were significantly influenced element *** GLM analysis showed that soil exerted a greater direct effect on leaf stoichiometry than climate did,and climate affected leaf traits mainly via indirect ***,soil properties had stronger influ-ences on leaf P than on leaf C and *** all independent factors examined,we found species accounted for the largest proportion of the variation in foliar *** results suggest that species can largely influence foliar stoichiometry,even at a lower taxonomic level.

Carbon is one of the most fascinating elements due to its structurally diverse allo tropic forms stemming from its bonding varieties(sp,sp~2 and sp~3).Exploring new forms of carbon has been the eternal theme of scientific ***,we report on amorphous(AM) carbon materials with a high fraction of sp~3 bonding recovered from compression of fullerene C60 under high pressure and high temperature,previously *** of photoluminescence and absorption spectra demonstrates that they are semiconducting with a bandgap range of 1.5-2.2 eV,comparable to that of widely used AM *** mechanical tests demonstrate that synthesized AM-Ⅲ carbon is the hardest and strongest AM material known to date,and can scratch diamond crystal and approach its *** produced AM carbon materials combine outstanding mechanical and electronic properties,and may potentially be used in photovoltaic applications that require ultrahigh strength and wear resistance.

Background:The role of vitamin D in ankylosing spondylitis(AS) is largely *** paper aims to examine the association between serum vitamin D levels and susceptibility and disease activity of ***:We searched the relevant literatures in Pub Med,Elsevier Science Direct,Chinese Biomedical Database(CBM),Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and Wanfang(Chinese) Database published before June *** independent case–control studies with a total of 533 AS patients and 478 matching controls were selected into this *** mean differences(SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals(CIs)were used to assess the levels of serum vitamin D,parathyroid hormone(PTH),serum calcium and alkaline phosphatase(ALP) in cases and controls,*** coefficients(CORs) have been performed to value the correlationship between vitamin D and disease activity(erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and Creactive protein(CRP) and Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index(BASDAI)) of AS ***:Meta-analysis results suggested that vitamin D may play a protective role in AS(for total vitamin D:SMD =-0.71,Plity(SMD = 0.20,P = 0.04).The relationship between serum vitamin D levels and disease activity was statistically significant except for 25 OHD versus(vs.) CRP or BASDAI(for CRP vs.25OHD:COR =-0.22,P = 0.08;for BASDAI vs.25OHD:COR =-0.20,P = 0.06,respectively).Conclusion:The higher levels of serum vitamin D were associated with a decreased risk of AS,and showed an inverse relationship with AS activity.

Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department *** syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in china, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, beijing Pediatric Society, beijing Medical Association(BMA). The present guideline includes the underlying diseases of syncope in children and adolescents, the diagnostic procedures, methodology and clinical significance of standing test and headup tilt test, the clinical diagnosis vasovagal syncope, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, orthostatic hypotension and orthostatic hypertension, and the treatment of syncope as well as follow-up.
