OBJECTIVE:To explore the mechanism by which Qinghua decoction(清化饮)regulates neuroendocrine inflammation in chronic nonbacterial prostatitis(CNP)model rats and provide an experimental basis for clinical treatment.METHODS:The rats were randomly divided into six groups:normal control,model,Qianlie Tongyu capsule,low-dose Qinghua decoction,medium-dose Qinghua decoction,and high-dose Qinghua decoction group with six rats in each group.Rats in each group were sacrificed on the 29th day of treatment,and blood and prostate tissues were collected.Serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukins 1-beta,6,8,and 10(TNF-αand IL-1β,-6,-8,and-10,respectively)were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The pathological changes in the rat prostate tissue in each group were observed under a light microscope.The expression levels of chromogranin A(CgA),nerve growth factor(NGF),and tyrosine kinase A(TrkA)were detected using reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction.Western blotting was used to detect protein expression of CgA,NGF,and TrkA.RESULTS:In the model group,the prostate capsule membrane and stroma were significantly dilated with more inflammatory cells infiltrating the stroma and perivessels.TNF-α,IL-1β,-6,and-8,CgA,NGF,and TrkA levels increased,whereas the content of IL-10 decreased,which was statistically significant compared to that in the normal control group(P<0.05).Prostate tissue cells in the high-dose group were neatly arranged with no obvious inflammatory cell infiltration.When compared with the model group,the high-dose Qinghua decoction group showed a significant improvement in these indices(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Qinghua decoction led to inhibition of pathological changes in the prostate tissue of rats with CNP,regulation of inflammatory cytokine expression,and inhibition in the expression of CgA,NGF,and TrkA.This mechanism may be primarily related to regulation of the CgA/NGF/TrkA signaling pathway mediated by various inflammatory factors.

在实践中很多边坡工程常因功能需求呈现出复杂不同的入渗边界情景,但往往易被忽视。通过开展不同入渗情景(坡顶入渗、坡面入渗、全面入渗)的室内降雨边坡模型试验,借助DIC图像技术,捕捉暴雨诱发边坡失稳破坏的初始微小变形和宏观整体渐变位移,并结合CFD-DEM数值模拟,提取暴雨诱发边坡剪切带、接触力链的渐变云图,揭示不同入渗情景下简单均质砂土边坡的失稳灾变机制。结果表明:坡顶入渗易先引发坡脚破坏,而后沿坡面向上扩展,最终导致整体滑移破坏,其前期稳定阶段较长但破坏具有突发性,破坏形态呈上宽下窄的弧形态;坡面入渗易在坡肩和坡脚首先发生塑性变形,二者不断扩展并引发牵引式滑移破坏,破坏周期较长,呈上窄下窄中间宽的弧形状;全面入渗易引发整体破坏,具有突发性、直线型特点,破坏形态呈上宽下宽中间宽的形态。3种情景中,坡顶入渗导致边坡的破坏距离和破坏深度最大,其次是全面入渗,而坡面入渗最小。在相同降雨强度下,坡顶入渗因破坏周期较短且具有突发性,要比坡面入渗更加危险。此外,边坡每次破坏后易在滑移面后边缘形成应力集中的力链拱,表明边坡破坏后会呈现出一定的自稳性。

基于土地经营规模对农户化肥投入影响的机理进行分析,结合贵州省赫章县古基镇海子村玉米种植户的调研数据,采用OLS计量方法探究土地经营规模对农户化肥投入的影响机理。结果表明:整体而言,土地经营规模对农户化肥投入具有显著的负向影响。具体来看,土地经营规模与农户化肥投入存在“U”型关系,即农户化肥投入水平随着土地经营规模扩大呈现出“先减后增”的变化趋势。其中,当土地经营规模为0.76 hm^(2)时,农户化肥投入量达到最低水平。此外,提高农户受教育程度、加入合作社、接受施肥相关技术培训以及降低土地细碎化程度和提高土壤质量等影响因素均有助于农户化肥的减量投入。据此,当地政府应当鼓励和引导农户适当扩大土地经营规模;充分发挥合作社作用,加强施肥相关技术培训;加大土地保护性投入力度,改善土壤质量,从而达到化肥减量投入的效果。

Effect of electroacupuncture on brain-derived neurotrophic factor mRNA expression in mouse hippocampus following cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury

OBJECTIVE:This work aims to observe the effects of electroacupuncture on brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) mRNA expression in mouse hippocampus following cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.METHODS:The models of mouse cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury were established.A total of 96 healthy mice were randomly assigned into 4 groups,namely,the sham surgery,model,model + electroacupuncture,and mode + hydergine groups.Mice in the model + electroacupuncture group were treated through electroacupuncture at the Shenshu(BL 23),Geshu(BL 17),and Baihui(GV 20) acupoints.Mice in the model+hydergine group were intragastrically administered with hydergine(0.77 mg/kg-1 · day-1).The levels of BDNF mRNA expressions in the hippocampus were analyzed through a semi-quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assay on days 1 and 7 after the surgeries.RESULTS:BDNF mRNA expressions in the mouse hippocampus of the model group on days 1 and 7 after the surgery were higher than those of the sham surgery group(both P 0.05).CONCLUSION:Electroacupuncture treatment enhances endogenous BDNF expression,which may improve the survival environment for intracerebral neurons and inhibit the apoptosis of hippocampal cells.

Production Characteristics and the Control Factors of Surface Wells for Relieved Methane Drainage in the Huainan Mining Area

Based on the production data of a large number of surface drainage wells in the Huainan mining area,the present study shows that four types of typical production characteristics for relieved methane wells are recognized,of which the stable type for production and gas concentration is the most dominate,as determined by a comprehensive study on the volume and concentration of drained gases, as well as the stress changes of rocks influenced by mining.Some influence factors for the productive differences of the drainage wells were also been discussed.The results indicate that protective coal-seam mining has a significant effect on overlying strata,which promotes the development of pores and fractures of coal reservoirs for methane desorption and migration;however,the production and the stability of drainage wells are affected by deformation and damage of the overlying strata.The second distribution of strata stress is caused by mining engineering,and if the stress load is larger than the carrying capacity of the extraction well,the gas production would be influenced by the drainage well that has been damaged by rock movement.Furthermore,the case damage occurs first in the weak, lithologic interface by its special mechanical properties.The stability of drainage wells and the production status are also influenced by the different drilling techniques,uneven distribution of gas concentration,and combination of gob gas and methane from the protected layer.

Depositional model of Permian Luodianian volcanic island and its impact on the distribution of fusulinid assemblage in southern Qinghai,Northwest China

Pan-riftizational tectonic activity reached climax at Luodianian (Permian) in the East Tethyan Domain, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Because of eruptive volcanics and influence of terrigenous materials, a complex volcanic-sedimentary landform formed on the sea floor in southern Qinghai. Four sedimentary facies types were recognized based on detailed field mapping. Spatially, platform facies volcanic-limestone type was located at the center belt approximately trending NWW, surrounded by shallow water slope facies tuff/tuffite type at the two flanks and deep water slope facies breccia/calcirudite at the most outside. The depression facies sandstone-mudstone type, which comprised mainly mudstone, de-posited between volcanic islands (platform facies volcanic-limestone type). Based on the field map-ping and stratigraphic section data, seven rift-related sedimentary facies were recognized and a depo-sitional model for volcanic island was proposed. It is revealed that some volcanic island chain formed quickly and intermittently in the Qamdo Block during violent eruption, and small carbonate reef, shoal, platform occurred above or on edge of volcanic island, and some slope sedimentary facies surrounded volcano island chain during dormant period of volcanic activities. Three types of fusulinid assemblages were distinguished in the carbonate rocks, which deposited in varied positions of a palaeo-volcanic island: (1) Misellina-Schwagerina assemblage occurred above or on edge of volcanic island, (2) Para-fusulina assemblage was located at restricted depression facies among volcanic islands or carbonate platform, and (3) the reworked Pseudofusulina-Schwagerina assemblage occurred at slope facies near margin of volcanic island, which originally deposited in the shallow-water carbonate platform, then collapsed along the volcanic island margin with fusulinid-bearing grain-supported carbonate con-glomerate or calcirudite, and finally re-deposited on the deeper slope. Optimum location of surface wells for remote pressure relief coalbed methane drainage in mining areas

Based on engineering tests in the Huainan coal mining area,we studied alternative well location to improve the performance of surface wells for remote pressure relief of coalbed methane in mining areas.The key factors,affecting location and well gas production were analyzed by simulation tests for similar material.The exploitation results indicate that wells located in various positions on panels could achieve relatively better gas production in regions with thin Cenozoic layers,low mining heights and slow rate of longwall advancement,but their periods of gas production lasted less than 230 days,as opposed to wells in regions with thick Cenozoic layers,greater mining heights and fast rates of longwall advancement.Wells near panel margins achieved relatively better gas production and lasted longer than centerline wells.The rules of development of mining fractures in strata over panels control gas production of surface wells.Mining fractures located in areas determined by lines of compaction and the effect of mining are well developed and can be maintained for long periods of time.Placing the well at the end of panels and on the updip return airway side of panels,determined by lines of compaction and the effect of mining,would result in surface wells for remote pressure relief CBM obtaining their longest gas production periods and highest cumulative gas production.

Intensity modulated radiation therapy and chemotherapy for Ioca advanced pancreatic cancer:Results of feasibility study

AIM: To explore whether intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in combination with chemotherapy could increase radiation dose to gross tumor volume without severe acute radiation related toxicity by decreasing the dose to the surrounding normal tissue in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.METHODS: Twenty-one patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer were evaluated in this clinical trial,Patients would receive the dose of IMRT from 21Gy to 30Gy in 7 to 10 fractions within two weeks after conventional radiotherapy of 30Gy in 15 fractions over 3 weeks. The total escalation tumor dose would be 51, 54,57, 60Gy, respectively. 5-fluororacil (5-FU) or gemcitabine was given concurrently with radiotherapy during the treatment course.RESULTS: Sixteen patients who had completed the radiotherapy plan with doses of 51Gy (3 cases), 54Gy (3 cases), 57Gy (3 cases) and 60Gy (7 cases) were included for evaluation. The median levels of CA19-9 prior to and after radiotherapy were 716 U/ml and 255 U/ml respectively (P<0.001) in 13 patients who demonstrated high levels of CA19-9 before radiotherapy. Fourteen patients who suffered from pain could reduce at least 1/3-1/2 amount of analgesic intake and 5 among these patients got complete relief of pain. Ten patients improved in Kamofsky performance status (KPS). The median follow-up period was 8 months and one-year survival rate was 35 %. No patient suffered more than grade Ⅲ acute toxicities induced by radiotherapy.CONCLUSION: Sixty Gy in 25 fractions over 5 weeks with late course IMRT technique combined with concurrent 5-FU chemotherapy can provide a definitely palliative benefit with tolerable acute radiation related toxicity for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.
