The current research of direct yaw moment control（DYC） system focus on the design of target yaw moment and the distribution of wheel brake force. The differential braking intervention can effectively improve the lateral stability of the vehicle, however, the effect of DYC can be improved a step further by applying the control of vehicle longitudinal velocity. In this paper, the relationship between the vehicle longitudinal velocity and lateral stability is studied, and the simulation results show that a decrease of 5 km/h of longitudinal velocity at a particular situation can bring 100° increasing of stable steering upper limit. A critical stable velocity considering the effect of steering and yaw rate measurement is defined to evaluate the risk of losing steer-ability or stability. A novel velocity pre-control method is proposed by using a hierarchical pre-control logic and is integrated with the traditional DYC system. The control algorithm is verified through a hardware in-the-loop simulation system. Double lane change（DLC） test results on both high friction coefficient（μ） and low μ roads show that by using the pre-control method, the steering effort in DLC test can be reduced by 38% and 51% and the peak value of brake pressure control can be reduced by 20% and 12% respectively on high μ and low μ roads, the lateral stability is also improved. This research proposes a novel DYC system with lighter control effort and better control effect.

A database-based strategy of candidate generation was proposed for molecular design of new de-phenol extractants following the idea of finding new applications of existing commercial compounds. The strategy has the advantage that the environmental, safety and health risks of candidate compounds are known and controllable. In this work, the Existing Commercial Compounds(ECC) database and special combined search strategy were developed as the base for the proposed CAMD method following such idea, and molecules for phenol extraction used in coking wastewater treatment were selected from the ECC database. The candidate solvents cover the following categories: ketones, esters, ethers, alcohols, anhydrides and benzene compounds, which are consistent with the de-phenol extractants commonly used in the industry or experiment. The compounds with higher partition coefficient and selectivity than widely used methyl isobutyl ketone(MIBK) are mainly ketones. 26 obtained molecules show higher partition coefficient and selectivity than MIBK, which are suggested to be further investigated by experiment. Furthermore, analysis of these potential molecules may present the effective functional groups as the initial group set to generate new molecular structures of de-phenol extractants. The results show that the proposed method enables us to efficiently generate chemicals with benefits of less time, less economical cost, and known environmental impact as well.

It is a valuable issue to explore whether a flame can radiate microwaves,in spite of the electric field formed in the *** herein is an experimental study on a series of flames with millimeterwave radiation in the combustion of pyrotechnic *** pyrotechnic films were composed of ultrafine red phosphorus(P),sodium nitrate(NaNO_3),Polyvinyl Alcohol(PVA) and some additives such as chopped carbon fibers(CFs) and aluminized glass fibers(GFs).The combustion temperatures and millimeter-wave radiation signals of the flames were measured,the millimeter-wave emissivity and spectral radiant exitance were calculated to describe the millimeter-wave radiation *** results demonstrate that the flame of the pyrotechnic films based on P/NaNO_3/CFs can radiate millimeter waves,and different materials and their proportion have a great effect on the millimeter-wave radiation intensity.

A facile approach to construct hybrid multi-shell calcium phosphate gene particles

The calcium phosphate (CaP) particles have attracted much attention in gene therapy. How to construct stable gene particles was the determining factor. In this study,hybrid multi-shell CaP gene particles were successfully constructed. First,CaP nanoparticles served as a core and were coated with DNA for colloidal stabilization. The ξ-potential of DNA-coated CaP nanoparticles was -15 mV. Then polyethylenimine (PEI) was added and adsorbed outside of the DNA layer due to the electrostatic attraction. The ξ-potential of hybrid multi-shell CaP particles was slightly positive. With addition of PEI,the hybrid multi-shell particles could condense DNA effectively,which was de-termined by ethidium bromide (EtBr) exclusion assay. The hybrid particles were spherical and uniform with diameters of about 150 nm at proper conditions. By simple modification of PEI,the hybrid multi-shell CaP gene particles were successfully constructed. They may have great potential in gene therapy.

The Yanchang Formation Chang 7 oil-bearing layer of the Ordos Basin is important in China for producing shale *** present-day in situ stress state is of practical implications for the exploration and development of shale oil;however,few studies are focused on stress distributions within the Chang 7 *** this study,the present-day in situ stress distribution within the Chang 7 reservoir was predicted using the combined spring model based on well logs and measured stress *** results indicate that stress magnitudes increase with burial depth within the Chang 7 ***,the horizontal maximum principal stress(SHmax),horizontal minimum principal stress(Shmin) and vertical stress(Sv) follow the relationship of Sv≥SHmax>Shmin,indicating a dominant normal faulting stress regime within the Chang 7 reservoir of Ordos ***,high stress values are mainly distributed in the northwestern parts of the studied region,while low stress values are found in the southeastern *** influencing stress distributions are also *** magnitudes within the Chang 7 reservoir show a positive linear relationship with burial depth.A larger value of Young's modulus results in higher stress magnitudes,and the differential horizontal stress becomes higher when the rock Young's modulus grows larger.
