Endoplasmic reticulum(ER) viscosity has emerged as a new potential biomarker for hepatic fibrosis(HF). Herein, we report the first ER-targeting viscosity-responsive near-infrared(NIR) fluorescent probe HBT-PP for investigations of HF *** twisted intramolecular charge transfer(TICT) and the excited state intramolecular proton transfer(ESIPT) are combined to endow HBT-PP with the selective response towards viscosity(～62-fold) and a super large stokes shift(～320 nm). HBT-PP mainly targets organelle ER and is able to image the drug-or alcohol-induced viscosity elevation in living cells. Significantly,HBT-PP was successfully applied to visualize the gender difference in HF and the protective role of estrogen in restraining HF progression. Of note, after 10 min of stain with HBT-PP, HF lesions showed a stage-based response, indicating the potential of this probe in fast and early diagnosis of HF. These results clearly demonstrated the promising application of HBT-PP as a new tool for exploring ER viscosity-involved physiological and pathological processes.

This paper reviews some of our recent works on phase behaviors of particulate systems with a soft-core interaction potential. The potential is purely repulsive and bounded, i.e., it is finite even when two particles completely overlap. The one-sided linear spring (harmonic) potential is one of the representatives. This model system has been successively employed to study the jamming transition, i.e., the formation of rigid and disordered packings of hard particles, and establish the jamming physics. This is actually based on the "hard" aspect of the potential, because at low densities and when particle overlap is tiny the potential resembles the hard sphere limit. At high densities, the potential exhibits its "soft" aspect: with the increase of density, there are successive reentrant crystallizations with many types of solid phases. Taking advantage of the dual nature of the potential, we investigate the criticality of the jamming transition from different perspectives, extend the jamming scenario to high densities, reveal the novel density evolution of two-dimensional melting, and find unexpected formation of quasicrystals. It is surprising that such a simple potential can exhibit so rich and unexpected phenomena in phase transitions. The phase behaviors discussed in this paper are also highly regarded in polymer science, which may thus shed light on our understanding of polymeric systems or inspire new ideas in studies of polymers.

为了改善玉米作物生长至中后期时中下层叶片雾滴沉积效果差,不同冠层雾滴分布不均导致植株叶片整体雾滴覆盖率低,喷施农药方式不佳造成药害和环境污染的问题,设计了一种玉米田间吊喷装置。利用数学理论几何关系结合Fluent软件确定了关键参数,即吊杆长度为1950 mm、侧下喷头距吊杆底端高度为50 mm、侧上喷头距植株顶端高度为50 mm、侧下喷头与水平方向上夹角为38.8°、侧上喷头与水平方向上夹角为43.7°。利用Design-Expert软件以吊杆侧上喷口处压强、吊杆侧下喷口处压强、机具行进速度为试验因素,以叶片平均雾滴覆盖率Y为试验指标设计三因素三水平正交试验,经方差分析后得到影响雾滴覆盖率大小因素主次顺序:行进速度>侧下压强>侧上压强。经田间试验后得到最终组合参数为机具行进速度0.8 m/s,侧上压强0.7 MPa,侧下压强0.5 MPa,雾滴覆盖率为26.54%,上、中、下层叶片雾滴覆盖率分别为28.32%、23.54%、27.75%,模型仿真与田间试验相对误差为5.05%。研究结果可为玉米植保机械的研发提供参考。

Aromatics-contaminated soil is of particular environmental concern as it exhibits carcinogenic and mutagenic properties. Bioremediation, a biological approach for the removal of soil contaminants, has several advantages over traditional soil remediation methodologies including high efficiency, complete pollutant removal, low expense and limited or no secondary pollution. Bioaugmentation, defined as the introduction of specific competent strains or consortia of microorganisms, is a widely applied bioremediation technology for soil remediation. In this review, it is concluded which several successful studies of bioaugmentation of aromatics-contaminated soil by single strains or mixed consortia. In recent decades, a number of reports have been published on the metabolic machinery of aromatics degradation by microorganisms and their capacity to adapt to aromatics-contaminated environments. Thus, microorganisms are major players in site remediation. The bioremediation/bioaugmentation process relies on the immense metabolic capacities of microbes for transformation of aromatic pollutants into essentially harmless or, at least, less toxic compounds. Aromatics-contaminated soils are successfully remediated with adding not only single strains but also bacterial or fungal consortia. Furthermore several novel approaches, which microbes combined with physical, chemical or biological factors, increase remediatio.n efl~.ciency of aromatics-contaminated soil. Meanwhile, the environmental factors also have appreciable impacts on the bioaugmentation process. The biostatistics method is recommended for analysis of the effects of bioaugmentation treatments.

We propose a finite element method to investigate the phenomena of shock wave and to simulate the hydrodynamic model in semiconductor devices. An introduction of this model is discussed first. Then some scaling factors and a relationship between the changing variables are discussed. And then, we use a finite element method （P1-iso-P2 element） to discrete the equations. Some boundary conditions are also discussed. Finally, a sub-micron n%＋-n-n^＋ silicon diode and Si MESFET device are simulated and the results are analyzed. Numerical results show that electronic fluids are transonic under some conditions.

Q-Learning Based Interference-Aware Channel Handoff for Partially Observable Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks

Channel handoff is a crucial function for Cognitive radio ad hoc networks(CRAHNs). The absence of centralized infrastructures and the limited power make the handoff design more challenging. A learningbased interference-aware handoff scheme is proposed for distributed CRAHNs. We model the channel handoff process as a Partially observable Markov decision process(POMDP) and adopt a Q-learning algorithm to find an optimal handoff strategy in a long term. The proposed algorithm obtains an efficient transmission performance by considering the interferences among SUs and PUs. To achieve PU awareness, the handoff scheme predicts the PU activities by using the historical channel usage statistics. In addition, we also propose a refined channel selection rule to compromise between learning speed and cumulative transmission reward. The simulation results show that the proposed handoff scheme can adapt to the PU activities and achieves a better performance in terms of high throughput and low collisions. And the learning process keeps a considerable balance between convergence time and cumulative reward.
